This Schema was created by the University of Minho, Department of Information Systems for the Controlled-vocabulary Add-on of the HP/MIT's DSpace. Original file: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/main/dspace/config/controlled-vocabularies/controlledvocabulary.xsd. This XML schema was also used to encode the 1998 version of the ACM Computing Classification System available on the ACM website until it issued the 2012 version, encoded in SKOS. The file is now available at https://www.acm.org/binaries/content/assets/publications/computing-classification-system/1998/ccs98.xml. Use of Open Government Data by Brazilian Public Institutions - Dataset

    No full text
This dataset contains the results of a survey about the use of open government data applied to public agents working in public institutions in Brazil. It has two sets, one with questionnaire responses and metadata and the second with a coding table with interview extracts: 1) In the first dataset, each row holds a response to a questionnaire about the public agent's perceptions of the use and reuse of open government data in Brazilian public institutions. Columns store the questionnaire questions. Data were collected between 8 June and 13 July 2021, and this sample is composed of responses from 40 federal, state, and municipal public administrators. Thus, this dataset contains 40 rows and 158 columns. Data were collected on the LimeSurvey platform, where it was screened for missing values and incomplete responses. After cleaning, data were exported to Excel in tabular format. Questionnaire responses are provided in two files ResultsSurvey_OGDUseBRPubInstitutions_DataSet_PT and ResultsSurvey_OGDUseBRPubInstitutions_DataSet_EN. They contain the same information in Portuguese and English. 2) The second dataset records the code table of the interviews about the benefits, barriers, enablers, and drivers of open government data (OGD) use in Brazilian public institutions. A questionnaire applied to public agents working in Brazilian public institutions was followed up by interviews to broaden an understanding of the use of OGD. Nine interviews were conducted between May 17-31, 2022. This dataset represents the perspective of these public agents. The dataset contains 97 lines and six columns. Each row of the dataset lists the factor code used in the questionnaire, the factor descriptions in Portuguese and English, the interviewee code, the transcription extract of an interviewee narration collected in Portuguese, and the English translation. After collection in Portuguese, interviews were automatically transcribed using the NVivo Transcription software. Then, they were anonymized, and a human reviewed the transcriptions. Interviews were coded using NVivo and used the questionnaire factors to guide coding. Coded extracts were translated to English using Google and Microsoft translators. Then, translated extracts were revised by a human and were used for reporting. The coding table was exported to Excel. Interviews extracts are provided in one file, InterviewsExtracts_OGDUseBR_PublicInstitutions_Dataset

Resilience to Misinformation on Social Media instrument

    No full text
Purpose The primary purpose of this instrument is to assess individual resilience to health misinformation encountered on social media platforms. Specifically, it aims to evaluate how well individuals—particularly parents of school-age children—can critically appraise, emotionally regulate, and respond to potentially misleading or harmful health-related content. By identifying levels of resilience, the tool supports the development and evaluation of targeted public health interventions aimed at improving digital health literacy and preventing the spread of misinformation. Nature This is a self-report psychometric instrument grounded in behavioral science and public health theory. It comprises 14 items distributed across two theoretically informed dimensions: (1) Stress Resistance—the ability to tolerate and navigate misinformation without undue emotional or cognitive disruption; and (2) Self-Control about Misinformation—the capacity to act responsibly and reflectively when engaging with or sharing health content on social media. Items are presented in plain language and rated on a 5-point Likert scale. Scope The instrument is designed for use among adult populations, with particular applicability to parents or caregivers of school-age children—a group highly relevant in the context of family health communication. While initially validated in this population, its flexible structure allows for future adaptation and validation in other demographic groups. Its scope includes use in public health research, digital literacy initiatives, program evaluation, and health promotion campaigns focused on misinformation resilience within family and community contexts.</p

Sound Database for Research in Environmental and Perception Acoustics

    No full text
This dataset contains all the relevant information about some sounds collected throughout the IMPACT Project - IMProving users’ sAfety perCepTion of shared streets: Auditory, visual and geometry-based strategies (https://doi.org/10.54499/2022.06271.PTDC). The sound data in the database was collected in different contexts and conditions, covering three main categories: (a) traffic noise obtained using the Close Proximity method (CPX); (b) traffic noise obtained during the crossing of speed bumps, also collected using the CPX method; and (c) soundscapes captured with the monophonic and spatial microphone. The dataset consists of .xlsx and .wav files. The .xlsx files contain information about the sounds collected, as well as the calculation of psychoacoustic indicators, in accordance with ISO/TS 12913
