WHAT MOTIVATES PEOPLE TO PAY ZAKAT, INFAQ, SADAQAH AND WAQF (ZISWAF) THROUGH ONLINE CROWDFUNDING PLATFORMS?
Online crowdfunding platforms are web-based platforms designed for fundraising through a collaborative concept. These platforms are claimed to enhance interest in Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah and Waqf (ZISWAF) contributions due to the convenience they offer. To evaluate this claim, this study aims to examine the influence of literacy, transparency, accountability, religiosity, and trust on the interest in fulfilling ZISWAF obligations through crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 182 respondents from the academic community who completed an online questionnaire distributed to 15 universities with ZISWAF institutions on their campuses. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression method. The findings reveal that accountability variable does not significantly influence interest in fulfilling ZISWAF through online crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia. However, literacy, transparency, religiosity, and trust positively and significantly impact this interest. These results provide important insights into the determinants of individual interest in performing ZISWAF. Specifically, online crowdfunding platforms must ensure institutional accountability in ZISWAF fundraising activities. Additionally, platforms should increase transparency by publishing financial and other critical reports to maintain public trust. Therefore, this study contributes to the development of more effective strategies for optimizing online ZISWAF fundraising
Determinants of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure: A Systematic Literature Review
Corporate social responsibility (CSR), a concept which existed for almost a century, is gaining traction in both commercial and academic spheres. Firms are experiencing greater pressures to realize more reasons to make more non-financial disclosures, especially on information related to their CSR initiatives. Even though some countries have implemented some forms of mandatory disclosure requirements, corporate executives continue to retain substantial autonomy in deciding the quality and extent of their corporate social responsibility disclosures (CSRDs). 128 articles published from 2006 to 2022 were found in the Scopus and Web of Science databases using a systematic literature review technique. This study offers a comprehensive mapping of the research works conducted, theoretical frameworks cited, and various determinants of CSRD. This study reveals that legitimacy theory, agency theory, and stakeholder theory are commonly cited in CSRD literature. Many country-level, firm-level, and individual-level determining factors affecting the quality and quantity of CSRD were discovered. This research made valuable contributions to the extant literature on CSR across multiple dimensions. Lastly, this study also identifies potential research avenues for academics to further the expanding body of knowledge in CSR
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ALEXANDER-GOVERN TEST IN FACTORIAL DESIGN ANALYSIS
This study proposed to evaluate the performance of the Alexander-Govern test (AG test), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and t-test by analyzing the Type I error rate. The AG test is regarded as a reliablecontrol Type I error rate. This technique is insensitive in the presence of heteroscedasticity under a normal distribution. Simulation research was carried out using Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) to assess the effectiveness of the tests that are based on the rate of Type I error. By creating the conditions that could highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each test, three variables are being manipulated: sample size, variance heterogeneity, and type of pairings. The performance of the AG tests is convincing when it is able to control the Type I error rates better compared to ANOVA under all conditions of heterogeneous variances. Meanwhile, the ANOVA performs best only when the variances are homogenous. A real data experiment was applied to validate the result. In the battery life design experiment, the p-value using the AG test and ANOVA are computed and compared. The AG test provides valid results when it can test the main effect and the interaction effect, as well as the ANOVA. With good performance in the simulation study, the AG test can be considered a good alternativeto the ANOVA when the assumptions of the homogeneity of variances are violated in the case of factorial design

The traditional teaching method has been adapted and aligned with Common European Framework Reference (CEFR). However, the effectiveness of formal teaching approach is arguable. The main aim of this study is to develop an Ace English, a prototype of a gamified English learning mobile application (app) using ADDIE model. An expert review also has been conducted as an evaluation method in evaluating the mobile app. The evaluation was conducted with five experts to evaluate the Ace English in essential dimension which are content, design and function. Findings has shown that all the experts have positive experience on all the three dimensions. Suggestion for improvement and amendments have been made for the definitive better version of Ace English
FORMULATING DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR AN IMMERSIVE VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT IN MUSLIM FUNERAL MANAGEMENT EDUCATION IN MALAYSIA
In Malaysia, Islamic funeral rites hold deep cultural and religious significance. Upon a person\u27s passing, specific rituals rooted in Islamic traditions are observed. However, despite the importance of these practices, many students especially teenagers in Malaysia lack of knowledge and understanding about Islamic funeral management and practices. A preliminary study conducted among 27 teenagers aged 21 to 25 from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) revealed significant gaps in understanding key aspects such as Taharah (ritual washing), Solat Jenazah (funeral prayer), and Kafan (shrouding). This lack of knowledge could have implications for the preservation and practice of Islamic traditions within younger generations. With the rapid integration of digital technologies, there is need to find alternative way, and this refer to the utilization of Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) Technology in addressing this problem. To bridge this gap, the study proposes formulating design guidelines for an IVR environment focused on Islamic funeral management education in Malaysia. This research aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) by promoting quality education through digital innovation. The objectives include identifying core components for the IVR environment, developing comprehensive design guidelines, and validating these guidelines through expert review. The study employs the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), encompassing stages such as awareness, suggestion, development, evaluation, and conclusion. The significance lies in exploring innovative, interactive approaches for teaching Islamic funeral practices, offering an immersive learning experience that enhances student engagement, comprehension, and retention. Ultimately, this research contributes to the development of IVR applications that support effective, technology-based education in alignment with the MADANI Economy vision

THE IMPACT OF FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENTS ON SOCIAL SECURITY MANAGEMENT: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
The increasing prevalence of Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs), such as gig work, part-time work, and remote work, has raised concerns about the sustainability and adaptability of social security systems worldwide. This systematic review aims to examine the impact of these arrangements on social security programs. The problem statement emphasizes the importance of understanding the implications for social security, including changes in contributions, demographics, and the need for policy adaptation. Through a systematic approach, the review analyzes academic literature from Scopus and Econbiz databases, focusing on studies providing empirical insights into the effects of FWAs on social security systems. The findings of the review are synthesized from seven primary studies (n=7), revealing critical dimensions of the issue. Key among these is the challenges posed to social security programs, including reduced contributions due to irregular income patterns and demographic changes as the workforce ages. Additionally, the findings highlight the necessity for legal and policy adjustments to accommodate the nuances of FWAs. The review identifies several gaps in current research, particularly the need for more longitudinal studies to assess the long-term effects of FWAs on social security systems. Looking forward, this review suggests avenues for future research, emphasizing the importance of exploring the intersection of FWAs with technology and globalization. It also calls for more comprehensive studies on the efficacy of new policy adaptations in various socio-economic contexts. By offering a comprehensive understanding of how FWAs are reshaping global social security management, this review provides valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners dealing with the dynamics of complex work and social welfare relations
EXPLORING TRENDS IN SOCIAL SECURITY MANAGEMENT: A BIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW
Social security systems worldwide encounter a range of challenges including poverty, inequality, pandemic-induced impacts, non-traditional employment, aging populations, and threats posed by the collaborative economy. These challenges call for various reforms that encompass private sector engagement, expenditure reduction, expanded coverage, improved management practices, decoupling benefits from employment, inclusion of local stakeholders, and support for self-employed workers. Implementing these reforms is imperative for safeguarding the well-being of vulnerable populations. The current bibliometric review aims to analyse research trends related to social security management. This review utilised ScientoPy and VOSviewer to comprehend the nature of collected datasets from Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. The findings of this review revealed that the number of publications in both databases peaked in 2019, suggesting that previous studies continue to be interested in the current topic. The scholarly publication “Social Security Bulletin” is renowned for its extensive coverage of social security management research for empowering employees welfare. The keyword “social security” has significantly impacted the thematic content of scholarly social security management for the past three decades, from 1990 to 2023, as previous researchers have used it most frequently.
