Akal budi dalam sempama jaku Iban (peribahasa) berimejkan mamalia berdasarkan perspektif semantik inkuisitif: (Wisdom of mammalian symbolism in sempama jaku Iban (proverbs): An inquisitive semantic analysis)
Masalah teknologi dan isu sosial berkaitan penggunaan ChatGPT dalam bahasa Melayu: (Technological and social issues related to using ChatGPT in Malay)

AFFIRMING THE LINK BETWEEN WORKERS’ SAFETY BEHAVIOR AND ORGANISATIONAL SAFETY PERFORMANCE OF SME MANUFACTURING
In the Malaysian context, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) encountered workplace accidents. Scholarly consensus attributes a substantial portion of these accidents and injuries to the human factor, specifically unsafe behaviours. This study, conducted in Malaysia’s northern region, focused on Safety and Health/Human Resource professionals within the manufacturing sector of SMEs. We compiled a robust dataset comprising 107 responses garnered through a meticulously designed self-administered questionnaire. To scrutinise the intricate relationship between safety behaviour and safety performance, we subjected the data to rigorous analysis using SmartPLS 3.2.9, employing advanced partial least square–structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) techniques. The research outcomes unequivocally underscore the palpable and consequential impact of safety behaviour variables, namely safety compliance and safety participation, on improving safety performance, gauged through parameters such as accidents, injuries, and property damages. These results resoundingly validate the research hypotheses. Consequently, this study accentuates the importance of cultivating employee safety behaviour, particularly in resource-constrained SME settings, as an imperative step toward enhancing workplace safety
DIABETIC FOOT ULCER PREVENTION THROUGH WORKPLACE WELLNESS PROGRAMS: CONCEPTUAL PERSPECTIVE
Diabetes Mellitus in one of non-communicable disease (NCDs) and is a major public health problem in Malaysia, especially type 2 diabetes. International Diabetes Federation in 2019 reported, 463 million people infected with diabetes, projected to infect 578 million and 700 million of people by the year 2030 to 2045. One of the complications from DM were Diabetic Neuropathy, a nerve damage that can causes numbness, pain, and weakness, especially in the legs and feet. Diabetes Foot Ulcers (DFU) are a major complication in DM patients. Diabetic foot ulceration is a devastating complication of diabetes that is associated with infection, amputation, and death, and is affecting increasing numbers of patients with diabetes mellitus. Thus, this paper explores the conceptual framework for preventing DFUs through workplace wellness programs, emphasizing the integration of health education, risk factor management, and supportive environments. Workplace wellness initiatives can play a crucial role in educating employees about foot care practices, encouraging regular foot inspections, and promoting appropriate footwear. Key strategies include continuous education on glycemic control, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of early intervention for risk factors such as peripheral neuropathy and vascular disease. By fostering a culture of health and wellness in the workplace, organizations can significantly reduce the incidence of DFUs and improve overall employee health outcomes.
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAFETY BEHAVIOUR AND SAFETY AWARENESS TOWARDS COMMUTING ACCIDENT AMONG EMPLOYEES IN ONE OF GOVENRMENT-LINKED COMPANIES
Road safety has been raised as a critical problem among Malaysian employees. Safety awareness had influenced employee safety behaviour directly and indirectly. This study aimed to access the relationship between safety behaviour and safety awareness towards commuting accidents among one of Government link Companies’ (GLC) employees. The hypothesis for this study were developed based on research questions and objectives to express the relationship between safety behaviour (safety participation and safety compliance) and safety awareness (safety knowledge and safety motivation). A self-administrative questionnaire was used for data collection which involved 160 employees from one of the GLCs in Kuala Lumpur. Data collected were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) Version 25.0 specifically for descriptive and inferential analysis. The regression analysis revealed that safety participation has a positive significant relationship towards safety knowledge and safety motivation. Thus, it is important to conduct more campaigns and awareness programmes to cultivate road safety among employees. Employees also should be given training related to road safety to reduce commuting accident. Comprehensively, this study may provide guidance on enforcement of strict traffic rules and procedures to reduce accident rates in Malaysia
