Implementation of learning models by high school teachers in the time of covid19 with the school of students in the City of Lhokseumawe
The learning model is a conceptual framework that is used as a guide in carrying out learning activities.
With the use of models, learning can be more directed, easy to understand, and mastered by students.
Hence, the use of models in learning must be in accordance with the theory being taught, the goals to
be achieved, and the environment and students must also be considered. In addition, the model used
must also be fully controlled by the teacher. If these factors are not considered, the final result will not
be as expected. Problems arise, students do not want to learn, the learning atmosphere is
uncomfortable, the teacher is also uncomfortable in teaching, so that the students' grades are not
optimal. Therefore, in this study, Researchers want to see how the model is applied by teachers,
especially Indonesian language subject teachers, as well as the Covid-19 period with student final
grades (UNAS). The method used in this research is qualitative method. Researchers will describe the
final results of the study, then draw a conclusion. In collecting data, researchers used observation,
interview, and documentation study techniques. Observations here, are not only observations in the
classroom, but also researchers make observations of other facilities and infrastructure. Through this
research, it is hoped that (1) there will be an image as a reference material for related agencies in
making policies to improve the quality of education, (2) a reference for other educators on the
application of an effective model, and (3) find the latest learning models that might be found in this
study. Then, the results of this research are also targeted to be published in national seminars and
journal

Impact Of Feedstock Biodiesel Development On Society Around PTPN I Company (Korespondensi)
This study examines the impact of biodiesel development on the community around the company.
This research was conducted at the National Plantation Limited Company I (PTPN I) Palm Oil Mills
(POM) Tanjong Seumantoh, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Indonesia. This study
uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Data collection procedures were carried out
through observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussion, and documentation. The sampling
technique was conducted by purposive sampling. Mukim (village leader) of Karang Baru District,
village heads in three villages within Tanjong Semantoh POM, namely Gampong Tanjong Seumantoh
Gampong, Simpang Empat, and Paya Awe villages, as well as with the community in the three towns
served as respondents. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study concluded that the development of
Biodiesel had an impact on air quality. Polluted air containing fine sand/kettle ash caused by palm oil
production causes congestion, interferes with vision, damages roofs, contaminates clotheslines and
water reservoirs, and damages car bodies. In addition, the workforce absorbed in the palm oil mills had
a minor impact on reducing unemployment. This can trigger a conflict between the community and the
palm oil mills. The social responsibility programs of the palm oil mills to the surrounding community
have not been maximized. Monoculture culture will lead to reduced crop diversification which
increases commodity prices. The company also holds long-term Cultivation Rights and is extendable,
resulting in lessening land owned by the community
Hasil Cek Plagiasi (DEBATE TECHNIQUE IN TEACHING SPEAKING)
This study examined the implementation of debate technique in teaching speaking to the third semester students of IAIN Lhokseumawe. This true experimental research had experimental class and control class consisted of 30 students for each class, and the total of the sample was 60 students. This study obtained the data by conducted tests; pretest, posttest, and questionnaire. To find out the differences between experimental and control groups in term of speaking skill, this study used SPSS 17 to analyze the data, and the percentage formula was used to analyze the students’ responses toward the implementation of debate technique in the experimental group. The results showed the significance value of both the experimental and control group in the post-test was 0.84 or higher than α=0.05. It concluded that there were no any significant differences in term of speaking ability between the students who were taught speaking by using debate technique and those who were not taught speaking by using debate technique (that H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected). Besides, the results of questionnaires revealed that the students gave positive responses related to the use of debate technique in teaching speaking.

Korespondensi "“The impact of basic life support training on theknowledge and skills amongst medical students in faculty of medicine, Universitas Malikussaleh: a pre-experimental study”
Introduction:Basic life Support (BLS) is a series of initial attempts to restore respiratory and/or circulatory functions in a person whose breathing and/or circulation stopped (cardiac or respiratory arrest). This study aimed to determine the impact of Basic Life Support (BLS) Training on the knowledge and skills amongst medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Malikussaleh. Methods:An institution-based pre-experimental study with no control of extraneous variables in the form of a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Three steps of the study, administering a pre-test measuring the dependent variables, applying the training to the respondents, and administering a post-test. The differences attributed to the application of the BLS training were then evaluated by comparing the pre-test and post-test scores using the Wilcoxon test, and the differences were considered significant at p<0.05.Results:A total of 82 medical students were involved in this study. The overall knowledge of BLS before the training was categorized as good, adequate, and poor with 1 (1.2%), 57 (69.5%) and 24 (29.3%), respectively. While the level of BLS skills of all respondents, 82 (100%), was poor. However, the level of knowledge and skills amongst respondents after participating in BLS training categorized as adequate increased significantly to 77 (93.9%) and 48 (58.5%), respectively, and none of the respondents categorized as a poor level of knowledge even though there were 34 (41.5%) respondents still had poor level of skills. Bivariate statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test found that the BLS training impacts knowledge and skills with a p-value of 0.000 (p< 0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that the implementation of BLS training for medical students greatly impacts knowledge and skills. The routine non-academic BLS training should be considered to increase both knowledge and skills amongst medical student
