Variable order R-L fractional calculus and its Applications
This paper presents a concise study of variable-order fractional calculus using the Riemann-Liouville approach. Specifically, we consider the Mittag-Leffler function with a single parameter as the order for both Riemann-Liouville fractional differentiation (FD) and fractional integration (FI). The study explores the impact of varying the parameter in the Mittag-Leffler (M-L) function and applies this variable-order fractional operator to polynomial functions of different degrees. For clarity and completeness, the behavior of the Mittag-Leffler-based Riemann-Liouville fractional calculus is examined both theoretically and graphically
Stability and Simulation of Fractional Dynamics in Nonhomogeneous Media via Generalized Quantum-Hadamard Operators
In this study, we extend the concept of the quantum Gamma function (q-Gamma) by introducing a new (q,\tau)-deformed Gamma function. This generalization allows us to construct an enriched family of Hadamard-type fractional operators, which we then apply to the analysis of memory and decoherence in open quantum systems. The inclusion of the deformation parameter q together with the delay-like scaling parameter \tau makes the proposed (q,\tau)-Hadamard framework particularly suited to capture nonlocal and non-Markovian effects, thereby offering a flexible tool for describing structured reservoirs and anomalous dissipation. To investigate the analytical consequences, we employ a (q,\tau)-Mittag-Leffler function, through which explicit solutions are obtained for a class of fractional differential equations, with particular emphasis on population dynamics models. These solutions reveal a variety of memory-driven features, including sub-exponential decay of coherence and the occurrence of revival phenomena. Both the fractional order alpha and the deformation parameters play a decisive role in shaping the temporal behavior. Beyond population models, the framework also provides insights into fractional quantum master equations, quantum walks with fractional memory, and noise effects in quantum information processing
Epidemiological Features of Dengue Fever in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen: Outbreak 2019-2020
Background: Dengue fever, a mosquito-borne viral disease caused by the dengue virus (DENV), remains a significant public health challenge, particularly in tropical regions such as Hodeidah, Yemen. The 2019 - 2020 outbreak in Hodeidah highlighted the urgent need to understand its epidemiological features to improve prevention and control strategies. Objective: This study aimed to describe the epidemiological features of dengue fever patients in Hodeidah governorate from 2019 to 2020. Methods: A retrospective study used data from the Center of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (CTMID) in the Authority of Public at Al Thawara Hospital, Hodeidah, Yemen, that included 3874 dengue cases recorded between November 2019 and March 2020. Blood samples were collected and analyzed for dengue infection, and concurrent conditions such as malaria and thrombocytopenia were also documented. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 27.0. Results: The results showed that the males were 65% (n = 2529) while the females were 35% (n = 1345). This difference was statistically significant (p-value < 0.00001). In addition, the majority of cases (47%) were observed in the 19–50 years age group, followed by the 6–18 years age group (30%). Children aged 1–5 years accounted for 18 % of the cases, whereas individuals over 50 years represented only 5%. The age distribution of cases reveals a significant variation across (p-value = 0.00001). Also, the distribution of cases across districts shows a significantly higher concentration in urban areas more than rural that indicated statistically significant association between district and case distribution (p-value < 0.00001). On the other hand, dengue infection was predominant, accounting for the majority of cases. Hemorrhagic dengue fever (HDF) was the most frequent diagnosis (45.64%), followed closely by dengue fever (DF) (42.90%). Dengue shock syndrome (DSS) was relatively rare, comprising only 0.46% of the total cases. Co-infections of dengue and malaria were notable, with 5.45 % of cases involving DF-malaria and 5.55 % involving HDF – malaria coinfection. Finally, the attack rate (AR) was reported 0.11 % and the case fatality rate (CFR) was 0.57 %. Conclusion: The study concluded a significant gender disparity among reported cases, with males comprising more than females. The age associated with dengue infection where the adults and children. Dengue was the predominant infection, with hemorrhagic dengue fever (HDF) being the most common diagnosis, followed by dengue fever (DF). Co-infections with malaria were noted. The CFR was less than 1%. Integrated public health measures, including enhanced surveillance, vector control, and community education, are critical for reducing dengue transmission in high-risk areas. These insights can guide policymakers in developing targeted interventions for future outbreaks of the disease

The article examines the rhythmic structure in the Hafsiyat collection of poems by Baz Allah Abdullah Bahya through an analytical and critical study. It examines the external and internal rhythms in his collection. Externally, the rhythmic structure is represented by the meter and rhyme structures. Internally, the rhythmic structure is represented by the repetition and parallel structures, which are important elements of the Arabic poetic canon. This research aims to uncover the rhythmic techniques in the Hafsiyat collection of poems that the poet utilized in constructing his rhythm. The researcher also utilized the descriptive-analytical method, with its mechanisms of induction and deduction, to highlight and analyze the rhythmic phenomena in the poems in the Hafsiyat collection. This enabled the researchers to shed light on the contents of the rhythmic structure in the studied collection. The results of the research indicated that the poet in the studied collection maintained the composition according to the known Khalilian meters, and that the qabd, idmar, and khabn remained the most frequently occurring zihaads in the collection. The poet also fell into poetic necessities in the collection, all of which were acceptable. He also used the phenomenon of repetition at its three levels (letter, word, and phrase) in a good way
Forms of Self-Writing in Al-Marwani's Exiting the Dark Tunnel: From Textual Categorizing to Fragmentation of the Self
Abstract
This study aims to clarify two matters: First, the narrative genre to which Al-MAarwani's text Exiting the Dark Tunnel belongs. Second, the forms and fragmentations of self-writing. We employed a thematic approach to delve into the text, identify the characteristics controlling its production and formation, and understand its dominant themes. We decided to divide the study into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The study reached several key findings, most notably: that the text is the author's memoirs, and that the forms of self-writing within it are multiple, with the authorial self-fragmented into several selves. This fragmentation is a result of general experiences and political transformations throughout the different stages of their life journey. Subjectivity was manifested through the impressionistic and emotional judgments presented by the author in their text, attributable to the ideological self that directed the author's writing trajectory.

Maximizing Employee Performance through Advanced Technology in the Modern Workplace
This study explores the transformative role of advanced technology in shaping employee performance and overall organizational outcomes within the context of the Middle Eastern corporate ecosystem. Drawing from a comprehensive literature review and theoretical frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Resource-Based View (RBV), Task-Technology Fit, and Human Capital Theory, the research investigates four core hypotheses: (H1) the impact of advanced technology on employee performance, (H2) the mediating role of training and digital competency, (H3) the effect of organizational support for digital learning, and (H4) the influence of employee productivity on organizational performance. A quantitative, explanatory research design was employed, involving stratified random sampling of 300 employees across Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26, incorporating factor analysis, multiple regression, and ANOVA. Results confirm significant positive associations across all hypotheses, with key findings showing that advanced technology adoption explains approximately 66% of the variance in employee performance. High reliability (Cronbach’s α > 0.85 across constructs) and strong factor loadings (> 0.6) validate the measurement model. These findings reinforce the necessity of aligning digital initiatives with targeted training, organizational support, and strategic HR policies to enhance performance. This study offers critical insights for managers and policymakers on leveraging technological integration as a driver of sustainable organizational growth in the digital age

the symbolic connotation of lighting and color in the movie “Goodbye Julia” by Sudanese director Mohamed Kordofani
The research aims to identify the symbolic signification of lighting and color in the movie Goodbye Julia by Sudanese director Mohammad Kordofani. Through an analysis of visual meanings, the research examines how lighting and color affect the movie’s scenes and reveals their symbolic and expressive role within the narrative. By tracing the significations of colors, it becomes clear that some colors symbolize joy, others sadness, some evoke hope, and others refer to regression. The research also distinguishes between warm and cold lighting.
The research followed several scientific approaches, including the descriptive-analytical approach and the semiotic approach. It concludes that lighting and color contribute to conveying the characters' internal conflicts, as evident in the scene where Santino is killed by Akram. Warm lighting highlights Mona's internal conflict between fulfilling her dream and complying with her husband's prohibition on her singing, while color shifts throughout the movie illustrate changes in Mona's personality. In addition, the study highlights the dialogue between Islam and art, pointing to Christianity's tolerance of art, as the director uses natural lighting and colors to emphasize the freedom that Julia breathed after South Sudan's separation from North Sudan
Remote Work Effectiveness, Quality and Efficiency: A Theoretical and Empirical Approach to Employee Performance
The shift to remote work has transformed traditional workplace dynamics, necessitating an evaluation of its impact on employee performance. This study examines the relationships between job effectiveness, job efficiency, and job quality in influencing remote employees' performance. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 132 remote workers through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using inferential statistical methods, including correlation and regression analysis. The findings reveal that job efficiency and job quality significantly enhance employee performance, while job effectiveness does not exhibit a substantial impact. This suggests that in remote work environments, employees who manage their time and resources efficiently and produce high-quality work are more likely to maintain optimal performance levels. The study contributes to the growing body of research on remote work by providing empirical insights that can guide organizations in refining remote work policies to enhance productivity and job satisfaction. Future research should explore additional variables such as work-life balance and mental health to gain a more comprehensive understanding of remote work dynamics
