    No full text

While workshops, presentations, and publications on AVMs are effective tools for teaching technical methodologies, managerial considerations (planning, scheduling, resource allocation, staffing, etc.) for augmenting current office procedures, workflows, and software systems do not receive as much discussion or instruction. This workshop is tailored to a non-technical leadership audience who would be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing AVM implementation for revaluations

The importance of thoughtful property tax exemption programs

    No full text
A thoughtful property tax exemption program is crucial in ensuring fair and equitable taxation for all individuals. By providing exemptions for certain properties, such as those owned by non-profit organizations or low-income families, the program helps alleviate financial burdens and promote economic stability within communities. Effective communication is key in promoting awareness and understanding of the program among eligible individuals. Outreach efforts should be conducted through various channels, such as social media, and community events. By fostering clear and transparent communication property owners can easily access the resources they need to apply for exemptions and ensure compliance with regulations. A thoughtful property tax exemption program coupled with effective communication strategies is essential in creating a fair and just taxation framework that supports the well-being of all residents
