Better fundamentals for a better reappraisal: Getting the most out of your reappraisal cycle using a true effective date CAMA system
Traditional CAMA systems are constructed around a set of annual records that represent thestate of each property for each year in a reappraisal cycle. A true effective date system as utilized in the NC Collaborative Property Tax System (NCPTS)* and Arist CAMA, creates new records for properties only when an event triggers a value change on the property.
