    No full text
This study presents a mathematical analysis of knowledge-based integration mechanisms in agricultural supply chains using partial least squares structural equation modeling. We examine functional relationships between knowledge integration dimensions and sustainability outcomes through advanced multivariate statistical methods including bootstrapping procedures, discriminant validity testing, and moderation analysis. Data from 186 organizations in Thailand's pineapple industry were analyzed using comprehensive validation techniques. Our framework demonstrates significant positive relationships between knowledge absorption, transformation, and utilization processes and sustainability dimensions, with path coefficients ranging from 0.192 to 0.394. Digital capabilities significantly moderate eight of nine tested relationships. Statistical validation through heterotrait-monotrait ratio analysis and bias-corrected confidence intervals confirms model robustness. This research contributes to applied multivariate analysis in complex organizational systems and demonstrates structural equation modeling utility for understanding multidimensional relationships in real-world contexts

The Role of Core Self Evaluation in Mediating the Influence of Employee Well-Being on Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Collectivist Moderation on Employees of Service Companies in Palu City

    No full text
The increasingly competitive service industry requires employees to demonstrate extra work behavior beyond formal tasks, known as Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior (SOOCB), which is greatly influenced by the individual's well-being and psychological character. Employee Well-being is believed to indirectly encourage SOOCB through Core Self Evaluation (CSE), which reflects an individual's positive beliefs about themselves, while the role of collectivistic cultural values also determines the direction and strength of the relationship. However, there have been few studies that comprehensively combine these four variables in one framework, especially in a multicultural context such as Palu City. This study aims to analyze the mediating role of Core Self Evaluation in the relationship between Employee Well-being and SOOCB and to test the moderating effect of Collectivist values on employees of service companies in Palu City. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling method based on Partial Least Square (PLS) to analyze the causal relationship between variables and test the predictive model statistically. The results of this study found that Core Self Evaluation has a positive and significant influence on Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior (SOOCB), where employees with high self-evaluation tend to show proactive service behavior and go beyond formal duties. Core Self Evaluation also mediates the relationship between Employee Well-being and SOOCB, indicating that employee well-being encourages positive self-evaluation that increases service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. Collectivist cultural values negatively moderate the relationship between Employee Well-being and SOOCB, so that the influence of well-being on SOOCB is weakened in individuals with high collectivism. However, Collectivist does not moderate the relationship between Core Self Evaluation and SOOCB, indicating that the influence of self-evaluation as a basic personality trait is consistent and stable across cultural contexts

El agotamiento paradigmático del Estado neoliberal en América Latina: explorando la gobernanza para el desarrollo sostenible

    No full text

Work-family conflict role in the relationship between organizational climate and intentions to leave

    No full text
Currently, studies have substantially documented the relationships between components of the organizational climate and intentions to leave an organization. However, there is scarce evidence of these relationships, when there are conflicts between work and family. This article aims to show the relationships of the organizational climate with turnover intention when the work-family conflict (WFC) is involved in the prediction equation in its mediating role. The method included the interview of 292 employees of five-star hotels for measuring the related attitudes between these three variables using linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses showing the model with the highest variance in the turnover intention. The results describe the models required by the mediation test with the limitations of observing a single type of organization, inhibiting the generalization of the results. In spite of this, the originality of the study lies in proving the existence of this mediating role. The relevance of the findings is that it is shown that intention to leave because of unfavorable labor climate at organization is partially but significantly influenced by the work-family conflict. The implementation of actions that promote, in their management policies, the possibility of supporting employees with the balance between their work and family relationships, can facilitate a work environment that reduces staff turnover

    No full text
This article discusses Islamic banking windows within traditional banks and the ongoing debate among Islamic scholars, both supporters and opponents of these windows. Some supporting scholars argue for the permissibility having these windows in traditional, providing their religious evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. On the other hand, opponents claim that Islamic windows within traditional banks are nothing but a support for usury moneylending, and they present their religious evidence from the Quran and Sunnah as well. However, the conclusion we have reached in this matter is the permissibility of having these windows, according to Sharʻīyah guidelines, such as the formation of a Sharʻīyah supervisory board consisting of trustworthy scholars with expertise in the field of Islamic banking. It also includes the formulation of legitimate contracts approved by the Shariah supervisory board, along with other mentioned guidelines in the article. Furthermore, this article addresses reservations regarding the financing methods of Islamic windows, the opinions of scholars regarding the mingling of permissible al-Ḥalāl and impermissible al-Ḥarām funds, based on the presence of Islamic window funds in conventional interest-based banks. We also discuss the tools through which Islamic windows can overcome the problem of mixing Ḥarām and Usurious-based fund

    No full text
In modern agriculture, the convergence of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has emerged as a promising solution to address challenges related to crop management, fertilizer optimization, and plant disease detection. This paper presents an integrated system that leverages IoT sensors, AI algorithms, and machine learning models to provide comprehensive support for farmers in making informed decisions regarding crop cultivation. The proposed system comprises three main components: crop recommendation, fertilizer suggestion, and plant disease detection. Firstly, utilizing IoT sensors deployed in the fields, environmental data such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and nutrient levels are continuously monitored and collected. This data is then fed into AI algorithms to analyze the optimal conditions for various crops. Based on historical data, weather forecasts, and crop characteristics, the system generates personalized crop recommendations for farmers, taking into account factors such as soil type, climate, and market demand. Secondly, the system provides intelligent fertilizer suggestions tailored to the specific needs of each crop and soil condition. By analyzing soil nutrient levels, crop growth stages, and environmental factors, AI algorithms determine the appropriate type and amount of fertilizer required to maximize yield while minimizing environmental impact and input costs. This dynamic approach to fertilizer management aims to enhance nutrient utilization efficiency and promote sustainable agricultural practices. Thirdly, the system incorporates AI-based image processing techniques for early detection and diagnosis of plant diseases. High-resolution images of crop leaves captured by IoT-enabled cameras are analyzed using deep learning models trained on extensive datasets of diseased and healthy plants. By identifying visual symptoms and patterns associated with various diseases, the system provides timely alerts to farmers, enabling proactive disease management strategies such as targeted spraying and crop rotation. Overall, the integration of IoT and AI technologies offers a powerful framework for optimizing crop production, improving resource efficiency, and mitigating the risks associated with pest and disease outbreaks. Through real-time monitoring, data-driven insights, and proactive interventions, the proposed system empowers farmers to achieve higher yields, reduce input costs, and contribute to sustainable agriculture practices
