No full text"November 13, 2023."Kansas Water Marketing Program water purchase contracts have been approved by the Kansas Water Authority for sale of water from state-owned water supply storage in Elk City Lake, Marion Reservoir, and Council Grove Lake. The purchasers are the City of Coffeyville (Elk City Lake), the City of Marion (Marion Reservoir), and the City of Emporia (Council Grove Lake). Per K.S.A. 82a-1307, the Director of the Kansas Water Office shall transmit approved contracts to the House of Representatives, the Senate, and to the Secretary of State

The bill proposes allowing the surrender of physical custody of an infant to an infant refuge bassinet as further described in the bill. HB 2024 would amend K.S.A. 38-2282. ... This bill expands the means of surrendering physical custody to a specific safety device with certain required attributes which is the infant refuge bassinet, and that bassinet requires installation at locations that choose to implement such a safety device.

By offering young adults experiencing significant life challenges the opportunity to receive reentry services and supports we are creating environments for them to finish up their high school education, obtain necessary employment skills and seek out advanced training and higher education while being provided needed stability. Stability during turbulent times fosters an environment where young people can further develop their self-sufficiency skills and strengthens their ability to become productive healthy citizens.
