Genetic and dietary determinants of gut microbiome-bile acid interactions in the BXD genetic reference population
The gut microbiome is crucial in regulating overall physiology and communicates with the host through various microbial-derived metabolites, including secondary bile acids (BAs). However, mechanisms underlying the gut microbiome-BA crosstalk (gMxB) are still poorly understood. Here, we assess the postprandial cecal microbiome, BA levels, and colon transcriptome of male BXD mice fed with a chow or high-fat diet, and find that genetic and dietary factors shift microbiome composition and affect gMxB. Four diet-dependent co-mapping genetic loci associated with gMxB, including the interaction between Turicibacter sanguinis - plasma cholic acid, are identified using systems genetics approaches. By integrating human MiBioGen database, we prioritize PTGR1 and PTPRD as candidate genes potentially regulating identified gMxB. The human relevance of these candidates on metabolic health is investigated using data from the UK biobank, FinnGen, and million veteran program databases. A partially-planarised hole-transporting quart-p-phenylene for perovskite solar cells
Herein, we describe the synthesis of a hole transporting material based on a partially planarised quart-p-phenylene core incorporating tetraketal and diphenylamine substituents that show optimal energy levels and solubility for perovskite solar cell applications. The triple-cation perovskite devices incorporating such quart-p-phenylene derivatives show power-conversion efficiencies, short circuit currents, open circuit voltages, and fill factors that are comparable to those of spiro-OMeTAD.LP

Working Space, un système innovant
Le système constructif développé dans le cadre du projet Working Space repose sur une structure porteuse en bois, conçue sur les principes de modularité et de préfabrication. L'ensemble des composants est adaptable aux différents systèmes statiques et trames structurelles des bâtiments existants. L'objectif est de faciliter la création de nouveaux espaces administratifs sans consommation de sol, en conciliant un confort satisfaisant pour les usagers, une diversité de configuration spatiale, une valorisation des ressources urbaines existantes, notamment à proximité des transports publics, et une minimisation des impacts sur l'environnement. Concrétisant les principes d'une architecture bioclimatique bas carbone, cette réalisation fait la part belle aux énergies renouvelables, en particulier par l'intégration d'une vaste surface de panneaux photovoltaïques en toiture.LAS
