La rente pétrolière constitue-t-elle un levier de croissance économique en Algérie ? Is oil income a lever for economic growth in Algeria?
No full textLike all economies in the world, the Algerian economy is always in search of sustainable growth. However, the financing of the latter is essentially based on foreign exchange earnings mainly from hydrocarbon exports and which evolve according to the evolution of the prices of these materials on the international markets. Through this paper, we wanted to check whether oil price fluctuations have an impact on economic growth in Algeria. To this end, after having presented a brief reminder on the use of the oil rent in Algeria, we first analyzed the stationarity of the two statistical series used and then applied the Granger causality test in order to verify the existence of a possible causal relationship between the first series corresponding to the Growth Rate of Gross Domestic Product in Dollars and the second which represents the Growth Rate of the Price of Algerian Sahra Brent Oil in Dollars. Using the Transcendental Function to Estimate Potato Production Function in the state of El Oued in Algeria for a Year2018
Get PDFAlthoughcommon useof logarithmic and linear function form in previous studies to estimate production functions and their statistical relative efficiency in fitting data, in most cases they fail to reconcile hypotheses of marginal analysis of the logic of economic theory to rationalize product behavior.To solve this problem we have estimated in this paper the function of producing potatoes in the El-oued for the fall 2018 season, using the form of the Transcendent function and the method of ordinary least squares through cross-sectional data collected for 110 agricultural products chosen randomly. the results of this study have shown that Transcendent function isMore efficient statistically relative to the logarithmic function and the linear function,by using the residual distribution and the R squared tests, which confirmed that the transcendent function whose has the property variable elasticity of technical substitution as the most appropriate model for study in fitting regress the production quantity on production factors, in addition to the advantage of this function in reconciling the marginal economic behavioral hypotheses between the quantity Potato as a dependent variable and production factors as interpreted variable
Evaluation of public private partnership (PPP) projects in the Algerian context An overview of seven Joint Ventures active in particular sectors
Get PDFIn the last two decades, the Algerian government has shown a remarkable interest for public-private partnership (PPP) projects. This paper aims to highlight Joint Venture (JV) arrangements in the context of PPP mechanism operating in the mechanical industry, urban transport, pharmaceutical and gas production sectors. Face-to-face semi structured interviews with practitioners from the public sector were conducted. The results show that despite the instability of the political, financial, regulatory and market situation, most of the JV has recorded positive results regarding technology and know-how transfer or even the ability to penetrate the international markets through exports. Because of the different perception of PPP arrangements in the view of public and private practitioners, more research should be conducted to further investigate the point of view of the private actors. No full textThe aim of the current study entitled: 'Assessment of the effectiveness of the (psychological care) for the cells of listening and prevention of youth health - a field study in the Youth Institutions Bureau-'. To identify the extent of the counseling service (psychological care) for the cells of listening and prevention of youth, and to identify the differences in the degree of evaluation of the effectiveness of the counseling service (psychological care) for the listening cells due to the gender variable of the young reviewers. The study was conducted on a sample of (82) young men and women, who were chosen purposively, and to test the hypotheses of the study, a questionnaire of psychological care was applied, and its psychometric properties were verified.
the study relied on the descriptive approach, the study used the statistical treatment through the program (spss20), where the following statistical methods were used: averages, standard deviations, and (t. test). We found that the extent of the counseling service (psychological care) for the listening cells and the prevention of young people is high, and there are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological care for the listening cells and Youth protection in the study sample attributed to the gender variable in favor of females

Negotiating the Situational Identity of Algerian Migrants over-skilled in Québec
No full textThrough qualitative demarch, this research is trying to point out how the difficulties to integrate into market labor of the host-society and affect the strategies of new comers and exploring each situation to realize their goals. They find themselves obliged to negotiate constantly their situations and their strategies. Because it is never an individual matter, the identity is deeply affected, and it is intricately shaped by every experience life. In exploring the micro-social processes interaction through which migrant identity is reinvented, the study leads to setting up of a “mapping” of migrants faced every situation and how the migrant negotiate its references. Furthermore, it displays the result of negotiating as a social adjustment in everyday life and the struggles to succeed gradually the whole process of integration. The people interviewed invent for themselves new norms of negotiating, within the different social situations, which include three references (homeland, host society and community of the same origin). A new form of identifications emerges from their social negotiating that obey not only to their references but also to the conditions of their situations and the possibilities to improve or realize their aims. The Level of Primary School Headmasters’ Creative Leadership and Time Management
No full textThis study aims to identify primary school headmasters’ creative leadership and time management levels in M’sila district. The descriptive analytical method was selected for this study. To achieve its objectives, the questionnaire was used as the main data collection tool. A test for time management, which is comprised of 34 items, was constructed, in addition to another test for creative administration involving 31 items. The population of this study is 492 headmasters from which a sample of 197 were selected randomly. Out of the selected sample, a number of 154 of the participants responded with a percentage of 31.30% from the real population. The SPSS is used analyze the data obtained from the samples’ responses. From the analysis of respondents’ scores it was found that:
-The level of primary school headmasters’ creative leadership is high.
-The level of primary school headmasters’ time management is high.
-There is a strong positive correlation between creative administration and time management among primary school headmaster
