Environment and Humanity The Case of Africa

    No full text
The environmental situation of the world, particularly that of Africa, is worrying.Indeed, from the year 2000 to the present day, high greenhouse gas emissions have upset thebalance of the environment, thus causing unprecedented global warming. The main pollutingcountries are the least vulnerable. Unlike Africa, which is the main victim of this globalwarming even though it is the area that produces the least greenhouse gases. Thinkers likeLéopold S. Senghor have warned of this dominating attitude of man towards the environmentwhich has caused this climatic imbalance. Léopold S. Senghor calls for a perception that isnot positivist of the environment (specific to Westerners) but rather an adequatephenomenological attitude to preserve the environment

Leaf samples of Pistacia atlantica, P. lentiscus, P. terebinthus and P. vera from different sites, in Algeria, were characterized according to their epicuticular wax chemical composition and morphology. The cuticular waxes were observed under scanning electron microscope and analyzed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry after cyclohexane extraction. Wax morphology revealed a glossy aspect with a smooth wax layer in P. lentiscus leaves while a thin structure is observed in P. atlantica. The qualitative composition of the waxes, were different for the four species. The principal components were aliphatics, phenols and terpenes. There were, as well, quantitative differences between the taxa, concerning phenol and aliphatic compounds. P. vera show the highest phenol content, while P. atlantica and P. terebinthus have the highest aliphatic contents. Regarding the infraspecific variation, P. atlantica from semi-arid-fresh site exhibit more aliphatic and terpene. For P. lentiscus, sub-humid-mild site exhibited more aliphatic compounds while the semi-arid-cold site had the highest terpenes amount

The robe is made from the date palm fruit for the use in nutritional and medicinal fields. The main aim of this investigation was to identify the phytochemical and mineral contents in two varieties of date "Robe" Ghars and Tekrmist (Tantbocht) of Algerian Phoenix dactylifera L. and to evaluate the effect of consumption of dates robe on anemia disease risk in healthy women. The amount of all metals was determined by ICP-OES technique. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of phytochemical compounds were estimated by using standard protocols. Two groups of 20 volunteers healthy women in each one were chosen to eat 8g of robe Ghars and Tekrmist (Robe) twice a day during 15 days. Some biochemical and hematological parameters were measured. The qualitative and quantitative results of phytochemical analysis revealed that Robe of Ghars and Tekrmist rich by reducing compounds, flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins and tannins, however they are characterized by the absence of alkaloids, in addition the both dates robe contain an important quantity of total sugar. Results indicated that Robe of the both varieties was considered as the principal source of essential elements (Ca, Na, K, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn). The consumption of dates robe Ghars and Tekrmist during 15 days led to significant increase in serum folate, cobalamin and ferritin, and no significant change in the other parameters. We concluded that dates robe " Robe" of Ghars and Tekrmist varieties of Phoenix dactylifera L. contains important nutritive and bioactive compounds may have significant potential for to protecting against various diseases including anemia disease

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the best of people, Muhammad the Trustworthy, and upon his family and companions, all until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows:Man expresses his thoughts and feelings through language, which is the basic tool for human communication, while poetry represents a special use of language within the framework of special criteria and weights. Which recommend the poet's ability to possess the cornerstone of the language from its roots, so that it becomes on his tongue a means of extrapolating life and souls with the conscience of his authentic sense, and the feeling of the poet's human instinct.Among the components of the language, that the poet uses is the verbal ties that overlap within the text’s fabric, to give it the feature of cohesion and interdependence between its parts to be a unified and interconnected whole. Verbal and moral has its own ways, and the tools of the condition, the adjective (adjective), the alternative, the oath, the reasoning, the saying, and others. The purpose of the research is to stand in front of one of the poems of Abu al-Tayyib al-Mutanabbi, which is the poem he said in Egypt in the year 348 AH / 959 AD. After he had a fever, it was famous for describing a fever for a stanza in it. This poem consists of forty-two lines. We chose this poem as a model for the study for two reasons:The first: because it is far from what was known in the Abbasid era of praise and satire and and the like. And the other: This poem is considered one of the truest of what Al-Mutanabbi said, expressing himself, his innermost self, and his conscience. The research was limited to studying the verbal connections most frequently mentioned in the poem, which are the tools of the conditional, the emphasis, the adjective (adjective), and kindness. And a statement of its impact on the cohesion and interdependence of the text. And our last supplication is that praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his pure family

The nuclear family unit is a social entity consisting of father, mother and children. However, other members are added to it, notably parents and grandparents, without whom the familystructure would be devoid of the filial fibre that solidifies it. However, far from being the leaventhat binds the links of the family chain by bringing its members together in the name of outdatedtraditions inspired by patriarchy, kinship sometimes works unconsciously to de-stabilize itself. The question must therefore be asked whether the family does not carry within itself the seedsof its own destruction. Is this destruction not the result of various essentialist practices based, for example, on paternal irresponsibility? In other words, do not the recrimi-nations of youngpeople in the novels deciphered lead to a re-founding of the family institu-tion, which isincreasingly exposed to multifaceted dysfunctions? To answer this question we use the sociocriticismof Edmond Cros. It is based on a diptych: the phenotexte and the geno-text. In twomain parts, the study shows the deep-rooted causes of family crises, before illus-trating that theliterary work remains above all a significant aesthetic creation underpinning "a discourse on theworld", i.e. a precise vision of the world

If the identity is wider than the language, so the language is an identity, but the identity is not a language. And since the identity has several aspects which are not exactly a language therefore this research aims at answering an important question: What are the relation limits between the language and the identity in Algeria, according to the heritage of Imam Abdelhamid Iben Badis And Othmane Saadi? It is question that deduces in its internal side a confession which clears that there is a relation between them. The question and its deduction lead us to stop at a number of question which have a link with the points at which the language and the identity crossed in country Algeria. This research will answer them from the beginning to the en

This study aims to propose the basics of a project on meta-cognitive thinking skills to produce a good qualitative and quantitative for the gifted. The concept of " meta-cognitive thinking skills" is a new concept, it never appears in the old methods of education. But new researchers have identified it as a very important concept in Educational Programs to develop different cognitive skills. Meta-cognitive thinking skills are too complicated mental skills; these are the most important components of intelligent behavior in the information processing system. These skills develop with age and experience; they have the role of controlling all cognitive operations in order to solve problems and find solutions more effectively. Researchers and experts in the field of education agree that education of skills remains less without the education of meta-cognitive skills; it is necessary in all educational programs not to be used only the lower and middle cognitive operations, but it is necessary to reach higher levels, and it will be with the education and training of the learners how to direct their information with mental operations more effectiv

Most previous studies have suggested an existence of strong correlation between playfulness and divergent thinking abilities, which denotes motor creativity. The current study therefore aimed to know the relationship between playfulness and motor creativity of a pre-school children sample at the preparatory schoolrooms in primary schools of the first district affiliated to Department of Education for the Wilaya of Annaba, estimated at 62. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method, using the 1990 Barnett playfulness tool (CPS), and the Weyrck test for motor creativity as measurement tools: The study had concluded a strong correlation between playfulness and the key components of motor innovation (Motor fluency, Motor originality, and Motor flexiblity). So, the study showed that children's tendency to develop new play scenarios is linked to the growth of playfulness situation
