Martin Heidegger's onthology constituted a decisive turning point in contemporarg westerer philosophical history, as he was able to revive the ancient greek heritage by raising a question existence as an ontology after kantin reduced it to the will of reason, hegelianism to the concept of spirit, and husserlianism of the thinking ego, which it took from the idea of cartesian cogite, however heidegger succeeded in turning his philosopy from the theory of knowledge to establishing the thesry of existence, based on the phenamenological approach, where he analyzed existence in the word based on dasein or egs, as heidegger was able to move the question of: what exists? To the ontological question in the form of: what existence? This was evident in the famous book "being and time" which included most of his thonghts and the decisive tronsformation in his philosoph

The lack of ability to pay visual attention in mentally retarded children who are capable of learning is considered one of the most prominent features that characterize this group compared to their normal peers, which hinders them in the learning process. For this reason, we shed light on this topic by preparing a field research paper entitled Lack of ability to pay visual attention in retarded children. Mentally, those who are capable of learning compared to their ordinary peers, a descriptive field study, aiming to find out whether the level of ability in visual attention and short-term memory in this group allows them to be integrated into regular classes compared to their ordinary peers, as the results of the current study indicated that starting to school and educate them is not possible. Before preparing and training them on basic cognitive processes, including attention, visual attention, perception and short-term memory, which are considered a necessary condition in the learning proces

This study aimed to reveal the level of citizenship values in the content of books relating to social matters (history - civil education) concerning the fourth and fifth year of primary education during the 2014/2015 school year. . We used the content analysis method, and we adopted word, phrase and idea as the units of analysis. In addition, a specific categorization of values was prepared for research purposes, which contained six values (the values of rights, protection, environment, belonging, participation, assumption of responsibility and Homeworks). Based on this categorization, the analysis form was prepared using the appropriate statistical tools. The study concluded that the level of citizenship values included in the content of the two books is medium, and that the history book takes precedence in the development of citizenship values over that of civil education, and also that the values have been occasional, which poses a threat to their anchoring in learners. The study recommended striking a balance by studying the values of citizenship in a more abundant wa

Hemangioblastomas are benign vascular tumors of the central nervous system that can occursporadically or as part of Von Hippel Lindau disease (VHL). The study of the 21 cases ofhemangioblastomas collected in the Neurosurgery Department of CHU IBN ROCHD Annaba involvesa pure infratentorial involvement. No localization in the rest of the neuraxis or visceral has beendetected. All the patients had a sporadic hemangioblastoma. The clinical picture is dominated by thesyndrome of increased intracranial pressure (ICP) and the cerebellar syndrome, and in all cases, it wasthe increased ICP that was the initial revelation. MRI and CT are the two preferred paraclinicalmethods: MRI is more sensitive in revealing the presence of the tumor, its characteristics (location, size, volume, exact number...) and the localization of the cystic portion of the tumor, its relationshipwith the mural nodule as well as its repercussions on the ventricular cavities. The diagnosis ofinfratentorial hemangioblastoma has a poor prognosis due to postoperative mortality, the risk ofrecurrence, and multiple locations. The treatment consists of as complete a tumor removal as possible, and the diversion of associated hydrocephalus can be discussed in certain cases. Post-operativemonitoring is carried out using MRI, which can detect a recurrence by revealing a cyst or ventriculardilation.

EFFECT OF CAMEL GUT PASSAGE ON SEED DISPERSION AND GERMINATION OF TWO ASTRAGALUS SPECIES (FABACEAE)

    No full text
Camels, adapted to harsh desert conditions, are known to consume various wild Fabaceae plants. This study explores the potential role of camels in dispersing and germinating seeds of Astragalus ghysensis and Astargalus gombo, two wild native Saharan Fabaceae species. Two experiments were conducted. Experiment 1 investigated the survival and germination of A. ghysensis seeds recovered from camel feces collected from natural rangelands. Fecal samples from each range were analyzed for seed content. Experiment 2 assessed the impact of camel digestion on seed recovery and germination. Three camels were fed A. gombo seeds for eight days. Feces were collected daily, and seeds were extracted and counted. The first experiment identified 3103 seeds, most of which were intact. A high proportion of Fabaceae seeds, especially A. ghysensis (41.57%), survived passage through the camel's digestive tract. Germination percentages were significantly higher for seeds that had passed through the camel's gut compared to control seeds. The second experiment showed that camel digestion slightly increased seed size without altering shape or color. A high percentage of seeds (45%) were recovered from feces between 48 and 72 hours. Importantly, seed germination was significantly enhanced after digestive passage. Germination percentages increased from 12.8% to 43.5% for A. ghysensis and 0.75% for A. gombo for both control and camel-passed seeds. These results indicate that camels contribute significantly to their ecosystem by dispersing viable seeds via their feces. No full text
The dromedary is the only livestock species capable of efficiently utilizing the limited vegetation resources of Saharan rangelands, thanks to its unique feeding behavior. To better understand how it forages in its natural habitat, our study conducted spatio-temporal monitoring across various rangelands using the bite-count method, observing and filming three individuals. Our findings revealed 34 plant species from 19 families in the rangelands. In cooler seasons, the dromedary's daily activity distribution was 67% grazing, 11% ruminating, and 22% on other activities. During the hot season, grazing time decreased to 34%, while ruminating increased to 28%, with 38% on other activities. The amount grazed daily was linked to the variation in vegetation cover, ranging from 1.7 to 14.85 kg of dry matter. The dromedary can adapt to the spatiotemporal variation of rangeland

This study investigates the isolation and purification of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) with antibacterial properties from camel milk, and their application in chicken meat preservation. Through phenotypic identification, 10 LAB strains were isolated, and their antagonistic effects were evaluated in vitro against four pathogenic bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas spp., using spot, well diffusion, and disk diffusion methods. The results revealed that all selected LAB strains exhibited significant inhibitory activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Further, the study examined the antibacterial efficacy of postbiotics derived from a selected strain (DS12) in preserving chicken meat. The preservation was assessed through physicochemical, sensory, and microbiological analyses. The findings indicate that LAB postbiotics, in combination with sodium alginate coating, are effective in reducing microbial growth and extending the shelf life of chicken meat. This combination treatment was found to be the most promising approach in achieving enhanced food preservatio
