The Impact of Bank Mergers - Acquisitions on The Efficiency Using (DEA) in North of Africa and the Middle East (MENA)
Get PDFThis study tends to highlight the nature of the effect of merger and acquisition transactionsin the banking efficiency in Middle East and North of Africa the MENA by applying a nonparametricmethod of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) from the beginning of the thirdmillennium, and has been used the linear MaxDEA6.0 program, on a sample of 11 banks spread overNorth of Africa (Tunisia and Morocco) and the Middle East (Kuwait, UAE and Qatar) where acomparative technical competence index was used as a whole, and its parts on a time extension forthe year preceding the process M & A (t-1) and two years post-process M & A ( t + 2). It has also been testing the quality of the model in terms of the representation of the inputs and outputs of the production process through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study reached the following conclusions: M &A operations did not show a positive impact on the technical efficiency of banks subject to the phenomenon, and that most of them recorded a decline in technical efficiency in merger and the year that followed and that the improvement in the technical efficiency indicators begin to appear during the second year after the process M&A. Digital Video Research Tools in the Era of Artificial Intelligence Applications and Digital Platforms Analysis of the Situation of Digital Tools Use in Scientific Research
No full textOur study aims to provide an overview of scientific research tools specifically dedicated to the study of digital video in presence of digital platforms and artificial intelligence applications. To do this, we presented recent foreign studies addressing the subject in various countries such as China, Korea, Indonesia, the Netherlands, and Poland, among others. Our study relied on a descriptive method that describes the research phenomenon in depth, while the research sample included 10 recent foreign studies, through which we presented more than 8 used research tools.
The study concluded that the use of modern applications and digital platforms is a necessity imposed by reality, as they provide researchers with various important scientific data and information. The adoption of new research tools has resulted in more meaningful information for researchers. In addition, digital video has become more prevalent in foreign studies from two perspectives: the first views digital video as an intermediary helping researchers develop various sciences, and the second views digital video as a means of communicationNotre étude vise à donner un aperçu des outils de recherche scientifique spécifiquement dédiés à l’étude de la vidéo numérique en présence de plateformes numériques et d’applications d’Intelligence Artifi-cielle. Pour ce faire, nous avons présenté des études étrangères récentes abordant le sujet dans divers pays tels que la Chine, la Corée, l’Indonésie, les Pays-Bas, et la Pologne, entre autres. Notre étude s’est appuyée sur une méthode descriptive qui décrit en profondeur le phénomène de recherche, tandis que l’échantillon de recherche comprenait 10 études étrangères récen-tes, à travers lesquelles nous avons présenté plus de 8 outils de recherche utilisés.
L’étude a conclu que l’utilisation d’applications modernes et de plateformes numériques est une nécessité imposée par la réalité, car elles fournissent aux chercheurs diverses données et informations scientifiques importantes. L’adoption de nouveaux outils de recherche a permis d’obtenir des informa-tions plus significatives pour les chercheurs. En outre, la vidéo numérique est devenue plus présente dans les études étrangères selon deux perspectives : la première considère la vidéo numérique comme un intermédiaire aidant les chercheurs à développer diverses sciences, et la deuxième considère la vidéo numérique comme un phénomène de communicatio

In these extreme conditions, can human thought still today ostracize its own terms even though they free it from the chaos of thoughtlessness? Increasingly “ignorant,” torn between hypothesis and assent, scientific authenticity is lost in the epistemological and philosophical fog surrounding the pretentious monographs of current events. The objective is to analyze how the novel intertwines memory, transmission, and the reappropriation of ancestral knowledge to reconstruct cultural identity. Through a mythocritical approach, the study highlights the central role of orality and mythological figures in structuring the narrative. African Literature and Self-Translation Between Fidelity to the Mother Tongue and Identity Issues
No full textContemporary African literature reflects postcolonial tensions, particularly in the choice of language. Self-translation emerges as a strategy to balance cultural fidelity and international visibility. This study, based on qualitative analyses and interviews, examines authors like Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o. The findings show that self-translation preserves authenticity while expanding readership, despite challenges in textual fidelity. It thus stands as a response to postcolonial linguistic issuesLa littérature africaine contemporaine reflète des tensions postcoloniales, notamment dans le choix de la langue d’écriture. L’auto-traduction apparaît comme une stratégie permettant de concilier fidélité culturelle et visibilité internationale. Cette étude, basée sur des analyses qualitatives et des entretiens, examine des auteurs comme Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o. Linguistic Change Between Sociolinguistic Norms and Variationist Uses
No full textThis article aims to provide a perspective that explains the understanding and functioning of linguistic change. By adopting a descriptive approach with an analytical focus, we will attempt, through the presentation of conceptual notions and the intrinsic relationship of sociolinguistic variations, to view language evolution through referential means within a diachrony where society also plays a role in enhancing the linguistic environment. We will discuss the concept of linguistic variation and its corol-lary with structuralist linguistics. Finally, variationist usage will be the subject of a non-exhaustive analysis to place it within the aspect of change that we call linguistic change.L’article se veut une perspective explicitant la compréhension et le fonctionnement du changement linguistique. En se positionnant, dans une démarche descriptive à visée analytique nous tenterons à travers la présen-tation des notions conceptuelles et la relation intrinsèque des variations sociolinguistiques de voir l’évolution de la langue par des moyens référentiels à une diachronie où la société a également son rôle à jouer afin de valoriser l’environnement linguistique. Nous aborderons la conception de la variation linguistique et son corollaire avec la linguistique structuraliste.
