    Get PDF
The current study aims to investigate the impact of drugs (psychostimulants) on executive functions among young individuals. We focused on both cognitive flexibility and cognitive control as they are deemed crucial, by presenting the following hypotheses: There are statistically significant differences between users and non-users in the time taken to complete subtest A of the Trail Making Test (TMT). There are statistically significant differences between users and non-users in the number of self-corrected errors in subtest B of the TMT. There are statistically significant differences between users and non-users in the number of uncorrected errors in subtest B of the TMT. To test these hypotheses, a correlational descriptive approach was employed, utilizing the Trail Making Test (TMT) after administering it to a sample of 60 young individuals, equally divided between users and non-users. Upon data analysis, the results of the hypotheses were as follows: There are statistically significant differences in the time taken to complete subtest A in favor of users. There are statistically significant differences in the number of self-corrected errors (cognitive flexibility) in subtest B in favor of non-users. There are statistically significant differences in the number of uncorrected errors (cognitive control) in subtest B in favor of non-users. These results were discussed and interpreted within the theoretical framework and previous studies

The establishment and interpretation of diameter and height structures is essential for forestmanagement decision-making. This study aims to describe the diameter structure and spatial distribution ofPinus halpensis populations in the Beni Oudjana (Khenchela) forest. Knowledge of these parameters is anessential step in their sustainable management. The diameter at 1.30 m from the ground, the total height of P.halpensis individuals were measured on 6 plots according to an altitudinal gradient. The diameter and heightstructures were established according to the diameter or height classes and adjusted to the theoretical Weibulldistribution. The density of the species increases according to this gradient from 4060 feet/hectare in plot P3 (atan altitude of 1472m) to 340 feet/hectare in plot P2 (1106m altitude). The stand of plot 4 is characterized by thelowest average values for diameter (5.784±7.03cm) height (3.19±2.56m), basal area (0.00±0.02m2/ha), totalvolume (0.03±0.10m3/ha) and relative density of 15%. Analysis of diameter and height structures shows anincrease in the frequency of young individuals. These results contribute to the improvement of knowledge oncurrent status indicators of natural P. halpensis stands that can be used as a basis for the management of the BeniOudjana forestL’établissement et l’interprétation des structures en diamètre et hauteur sont indispensables pour laprise de décisions en aménagement forestier.

Drought in Algeria and other Maghreb countries is widely recognized as the primarylimiting factor in agricultural production and is a permanent constraint. The Figurant against thisclimatic factor must be considered through a multidisciplinary approach 1]. The study is carried outon eight genotypes of the species Ae. geniculata collected in several ecogeographic regions acrossnorthern Algeria. The study of the response to water stress in these eight genotypes and the controlreveals the existence of a high variability for most of the parameters measured (morphological, physiological and biochemical). The results of morphological parameters show a marked decrease inplant height and leaf area in most genotypes with an increase in leaf specific weight of aerial and rootparts. The results of physiological parameters show variability between genotypes and water situation. In most genotypes, there was a decrease in total chlorophyll levels and relative levels and an increasein the rate of water loss. The accumulation of osmoticums during a declaration of a water deficitremains a drought resistance parameter. Our results show that the water deficit is accompanied by aclear accumulation of soluble sugars in all genotypes especially G8 and control G9 (Wheat) but with asignificant accumulation of proline in G8. In conclusion we can conclude that the eight genotypesstudied showed the same mechanisms and strategies in response to water stress but with differentdegrees. The G8 genotype shows good resistance to water stress compared to the other genotypesstudied.

This study aims to clarify the role of e-commerce ethics in the protection of e-consumer, in thisage in which electronic practices have spread widely and it is easy to conclude contracts via the line. On theother hand, the consumer has become susceptible more than ever to fraud, deception and electronic fraud byelectronic vendors on the one hand and Internet hackers on the other, which obliged companies, states, governments and international bodies to protect the e-consumer by enactment of laws and legislations or bythe provision of tools, programs, technical and control methods to protect the privacy and security of the econsumerwhich is the weakest link in this type of deal. However, the-consumer remains at risk of theft anddeception by commercial companies on the line, which exploits the technical gaps also the consumerignorance of the laws to deceive and circumvent him and steal his money. Ethics may limit these illegalpractices and ensure compliance with laws and regulatory frameworks that protect The e-consumer, also itallows compliance with various contract terms and payment, and it increases the level of confidence inelectronic transactions. Laws without ethics can’t perform their role properly. So, ethics remains the mostimportant framework in the protection of e-consumer
