spesso si trovano a dover svolgere analisi Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) del loro
ampio portafoglio prodotti per la crescente richiesta di dati sulle performance
ambientali da parte dei loro clienti. Tuttavia, quando i prodotti da valutare
diventano numerosi, occorre gestire all’interno dell’azienda le relative attività di
analisi in maniera sistematica e organizzata per essere efficienti e non incorrere in
errori. Partendo dall’esperienza di un’azienda multinazionale del packaging, lo
studio mira a sviluppare un kit di strumenti che permetta di guidare e agevolare i
processi di analisi LCA. Il “toolkit” contiene: il flow chart, per definire i flussi
consequenziali delle attività da svolgere; la matrice RASCI, per identificare i
soggetti coinvolti e le relative responsabilità; le procedure operative standard,
comprendenti le azioni da svolgere; i moduli con la compilazione guidata, relativi
ad attività di raccolta dati e comunicazione

No full textPer le organizzazioni “non-profit”, la rendicontazione non finanziaria (o sociale) si presenta come più significativa di quella finanziaria, essendo la loro “mission” diversa dal profitto. Anche il legislatore italiano ha tenuto conto di ciò, inizialmente con la normativa che disciplinava le Imprese sociali (D. Lgs. 155/2006), obbligandole alla redazione del Bilancio sociale e, successivamente, con la Riforma del Terzo Settore (Legge delega 106/2016 e Decreti attuativi), prevedendo per gli Enti del Terzo Settore (ETS) un set minimo di informazioni “non finanziarie” nel loro sistema di rendicontazione, a prescindere dalla loro forma giuridica e dalla loro dimensione. Lo stesso legislatore ha successivamente emanato per gli ETS iscritti al Registro Unico Nazionale sul Terzo Settore (RUNTS), le Linee guida sul Bilancio di esercizio (D.M. del 5 marzo 2020)24, sul Bilancio Sociale (D.M. del 4 luglio 2019)25, sulla Valutazione di Impatto Sociale (D.M. del 23 luglio 2019)26, introducendo di fatto un sistema di rendicontazione sociale “integrato” che si articola nei tre strumenti regolati dai suddetti decreti ministeriali (DM): il Bilancio d’esercizio, inclusa la eventuale Relazione di Missione; il Bilancio Sociale; la Valutazione di Impatto Sociale.
Questo sistema rappresenta un passaggio chiave verso una “accountability sostanziale”, coerente con i principi della “sussidiarietà orizzontale”, della “partecipazione” e del “perseguimento delle finalità di interesse generale” che sono alla base della Riforma e sanciti dalla Costituzione

No full textGeological analysis of the dome field in western Utopia Planitia, on Mars
No full textHundreds of domes are scattered over a plain composed of different geological units in the western margin of Utopia Planitia, near the northern martian dichotomy. These structures have traditionally been considered of igneous origin. In this work, we utilized recent data to study the geomorphological and compositional properties of this dome field. We found that the domes originated from an intrusive-to-extrusive system, since they range from cryptodomes to volcanic domes. Each dome appears to represent a single magmatic event, indicating they formed in a monogenetic regime. Two main groups of domes were identified according to their shapes and stratigraphic relationships with the floor units, which represent two different stages of igneous activity. It was established from a linear analysis that the domes are preferentially aligned following a NW-SE trend, which is consistent with the regional faults and fractures. The domes field in Utopia Planitia was likely created by two monogenetic magmatic events at different ages, which took advantage of the tectonic configuration of the area to be emplaced. Some magmas were able to reach the surface creating extrusive structures, while the majority crystalized near the surface creating intrusive ones. Of the last group, the majority were uncovered by tectonic or erosive processes, while a small number of them remained trapped underground as cryptodomes. This sequence of events would explain the large distribution of the domes, as well as the wide variety of morphologies that we observe today
Workplace-based dietary intervention study: Effects on body mass index and fat mass in metalworking industry workers
No full textBackground: Overweight and obesity are prevalent health issues with significant implications for workers’ health, productivity, and workplace safety. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary modifications and workplace interventions on health outcomes among metalworking industry workers.
Methods: A total of 683 workers participated in a workplace-based intervention focusing on dietary modifications, physical activity promotion, and health monitoring. Anthropometric measures, including BMI and fat mass, were recorded at baseline and follow-up using bioimpedance analysis. Statistical analyses included paired t-tests and mixed linear models to assess changes over time.
Results: Significant reductions in BMI and fat mass were observed among participants. At follow-up, 56.95% of workers achieved BMI reduction, with 29.31% reaching the target of at least 4%. Similarly, 52.27% reduced fat mass, with 77.03% achieving reductions of at least 2%. Night shift workers demonstrated better adherence and outcomes compared to day shift workers. Improvements in psychophysical well-being and productivity were also reported.
Conclusions: Workplace-based interventions can effectively address obesity and overweight, improving employees’ health and organizational productivity. Future research should focus on long-term sustainability, randomized controlled trials, and broader demographic inclusion to enhance the generalizability of findings

No full textThe Eastern Slavic world also underwent the process of developing the intellectual lexicon of modern languages, that was characteristic of Renaissance culture, thanks in part to the literary output of the Athonite monk Maximus the Greek (born Michele Trivolis, Arta, c. 1470 – Sergiev Posad, 1556), who is acknowledged as having played a mediating role in introducing concepts typical of Renaissance humanist culture into 16th-century Muscovy. This paper has the dual purpose of offering a review of recent studies investigating the Greek monk's ability to translate ideas and concepts into Church Slavonic through an original usus verborum, and of exploring the expression of the concepts of “free will” and “free choice” in the writings of Maximus the Greek, analysing the compounds of slavic the slavic pronoun самъ with the words власть and воля, present in the first letter to F.I. Karpov against divinatory astrology
"Far parlare la plastica". Il polistirene di Calvino tra cinema, industria e antropologia
No full textL'articolo esamina una traduzione eseguita da Italo Calvino nell’estate del 1985, quella del Chant du Styrène di Raymond Queneau. La poesia, una sorta di appendice alla Petite cosmogonie portative dello stesso Queneau (1950), era stata composta nel 1957 su invito della Péchiney, azienda chimica che aveva incaricato il regista Alain Resnais di girare un cortometraggio sul ciclo di lavorazione della plastica, del quale la poesia costituisce il commento. Anche Calvino, che si giova della consulenza terminologica di Primo Levi, lavora su commissione: era stato il Progetto Cultura della Montedison a mettersi in contatto con l’editore Scheiwiller per una plaquette che desse in versione italiana La canzone del polistirene (la accompagnerà un’acquaforte di Fausto Melotti).
Ciò che qui si vuole evidenziare è la libertà con cui Calvino interviene su alcuni passaggi del testo di Queneau, marcando con particolare insistenza la destinazione commerciale del prodotto in plastica. Le ragioni di tale scelta vanno probabilmente ricercate, questa è la tesi, in una riflessione di Calvino su quella che gli antropologi chiamano “cultura materiale”, ossia la reciproca relazione tra l’essere umano e gli oggetti da lui prodotti. «Far parlare la plastica» è del resto l’ambizione che Calvino esplicita anche nella lezione dedicata alla Molteplicità, scritta proprio in quelle settimane, nel segno di una peculiare continuità tra mondo minerale, vegetale e animale
