    Automated Infusion Monitoring Device Using Arduino-Based IoT (Internet of Things)

    Efforts to improve healthcare services in the medical world are being made by implementing rapidly evolving Computer and Information Technology. In the medical field, particularly in infusion procedures, this is the most commonly used device. The function of infusion is to administer fluids or medication into the body through an intravenous route at a constant rate for a specific period. Infusion is performed for patients who urgently need medication or require a continuous and slow administration of fluids due to dehydration. However, during implementation in the field, issues may arise due to a lack of medical personnel and nursing errors, especially considering the ongoing Covid-19 conditions. An automated infusion monitoring device is one of the solutions created to ease the nursing process by monitoring and regulating the infusion flow rate through a monitor that displays real-time fluid volume in the nurse's area.     Indonesia has an important role as a country that produces various high-quality culinary items. Indonesia, with its plethora of natural resources and cultural diversity, can generate a wide range of culinary goods, including traditional foods and beverages as well as modern culinary inventions. Natural and cultural potentials are the foundation for the development of exceptional food and beverages in a country manufacturing culinary products. However, numerous issues with marketing are not global enough, even though Indonesian culinary items should be able to compete with well-known food products. Information technology and the internet have altered the culinary business scene in Indonesia, making it easier for local culinary products to obtain worldwide market share. This article investigates how the existence of information technology and the internet has opened up new avenues for Indonesian culinary manufacturers to broaden their marketing reach. Indonesian culinary items can now be accessed by consumers worldwide via an online platform, removing geographical barriers and presenting substantial economic growth possibilities. This study created an application system to advertise culinary products, with the first steps focusing on designing application systems. The Unified Modeling Language technique is used to create the culinary application system. This procedure aids in visualizing the system's structure, and interactions deployment. As a result, development teams and stakeholders have a more structured design and a better grasp of the system.     Efficient inventory management and consistent rice supply are pivotal for the sustainability of small-scale food stalls. This research introduces an innovative approach to address this challenge through the Neural Prophet algorithm. By synergizing neural networks with additive regression models, the Neural Prophet captures intricate temporal patterns and trends within rice sales data. Our study evaluates the Neural Prophet's effectiveness in predicting rice sales, specifically for essential food vendors. Leveraging historical sales data from June 2022 to April 2023, the algorithm incorporates seasonality and trends and integrates external events, such as holidays, to heighten prediction precision. Our findings underscore the Neural Prophet's remarkable prowess in forecasting rice sales at primary food kiosks, adeptly discerning data trends and fluctuations, culminating in reliable future sales projections. The model boasts compelling performance metrics: MAE = 12.90, RMSE = 15.80, and Loss = 0.0313. Beyond its technical merits, this research carries significant practical implications, empowering proprietors and suppliers of basic food stalls to streamline inventory management, avert stockouts, and curtail overstocking by harnessing the precision of rice demand forecasting facilitated by the Neural Prophet algorithm

    Pharmacy is a public facility that supplies, distributes, and serves medicine needs. Based on observations, Rania Farma Pharmacy is one of the pharmacies that still uses conventional methods of medicine management. The Pharmacist Assistant has to write down medicine stocks and transactions in a book, calculate sales with the help of a calculator, and monthly reporting by inputting daily sales in the Microsoft Office Excel application which takes quite a long time. This process is prone to human error, such as calculation and recording errors, which can harm pharmacies and consumers. This research uses the Design Thinking method to design a mobile-based pharmacy application based on the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). Then perform prototype analysis using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Design Thinking includes software development methods focusing on solving human-centered problems. Pharmacy information needs are collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. In designing this information system, it is hoped that it can help medicine management at the Rania Farma Pharmacy. In testing the prototype, the analysis used is the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the SUS value were 79.5, which was included in the Good category. Therefore the design of the Pharmacy application can be used and developed to become a better and more useful system for pharmacies

    Implementation of the ORESTE Method in Determining the Selection of Service Ambassador Events

    The selection of candidates to become Service Ambassadors is an important and complex process. Assessors need to consider many factors and the relative weight of each factor to ensure the best candidate is selected for the position. One method that can be used in candidate selection is the ORESTE method. The ORESTE method is a multi-criteria decision-making method developed by J.P. Brans and B. Mareschal in 1994. This method allows assessors to aggregate multiple criteria and consider the relative weight of each criterion to compare alternatives and produce a ranking of candidates based on the highest relative value. In the context of Service Ambassador selection, the ORESTE method can assist assessors in solving complex decision-making problems and ensuring the best candidate is selected for the position. The method allows raters to consider multiple criteria and consider the relative weight of each criterion, resulting in a ranking of candidates based on the highest relative value. Thus, the use of the ORESTE method in determining the selection of Tourism Ambassadors can simplify and speed up the candidate selection process, as well as increase accuracy and satisfaction in decision making. By using the ORESTE method, the results of the decision to select the winner of the Service Ambassador event are obtained with a preference value of 4.4

    Currently, XYZ Gas Stations, in carrying out fuel sales activities, have not yet used a simulation of calculating fuel supply needs at gas stations which functions to support decision making by the leadership, this causes frequent stock shortages at each XYZ gas station branch. because of that the authors are interested in creating a modeling system for calculating fuel inventory simulations using the Monte Carlo method and the LCM pattern. The purpose of this research is to produce a simulated calculation of the supply of purchased fuel so that management knows how much stock of fuel must be provided at each gas station and also to prevent empty fuel stocks at each gas station in the XYZ branch. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and literature studies. The system is designed using the JAVA Programming Language. The data processed in this study is transaction activity data for January and February 2022 to determine the amount of inventory that must be provided in March 2022. The final results of the data processing that has been carried out with the trial purchase data transactions for the two current months, namely January and February 2022 to get the simulation results of fuel oil (BBM) supplies in March whose activation has been running with simulation predictions using the Monte Carlo Algorithm

    The Evaluation of Usability and Website Development using Cognitive Walkthrough, Performance Measurement, and System Usability Scale

    The website of Social Affairs, Empowerment, and Child Protection in Bali is one of the information media used to fulfill one of the Service's requirements in implementing the Law on Public Information Disclosure. The initial observation results showed that there has never been a usability evaluation related to the website. In addition to this, according to an initial survey of 55 respondents from the general public and service information technology staff, the results obtained were (1) 69% of respondents stated that the website for the Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Province of Bali had an unattractive appearance, (2) as many as 67% of respondents stated that the website was still not good at placing and writing menus, (3) 67% of respondents stated that the website could not provide comfort when browsing, and (4) 95% of respondents stated that the display and contents of website content were still lacking and need to be developed. Based on the results of the interviews and surveys conducted, it is necessary to carry out an evaluation to find out more about the development of the website for the Bali Provincial Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. Therefore an evaluation was carried out on the website of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection of Bali using the Cognitive Walkthrough, Performance Measurement, and System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation techniques. The research resulted in the following conclusions. (1) The website development for the Provincial Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection uses the Incremental method to produce a website with a more dynamic and modern appearance but still minimalist so that it does not interfere with the view of the website visitors and remains focused on content so that it is comfortable to view and read. (2) The performance measurement method evaluation results showed that the website is included in the effective and efficient category. The results showed that the working time for the beginner and the proficient group was short, the average for the proficient group was 17.4 seconds, and the beginner was 17.56 seconds. (3) Recommendations from the results of the usability evaluation of the Bali Provincial Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection using the Cognitive Walkthrough method are included in the successful category. Research showed that 100% of respondents completed the task scenario perfectly without any failures or errors. (4) Satisfaction of website users, when evaluated using the SUS method, gets an average score of 92.36 which is above the standard score of 68, so it can be concluded that respondents are very satisfied using the website for Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Bali Province

    User Flow Design Research for a Culinary Application Prototype to Improve Customer Satisfaction in Balikpapan

    Balikpapan's economic growth is predicted to rise to 4.94% in 2022 from 4.56% in 2021. The Business Field for Providing Accommodation and Food and Drink has performed well, helping the city's economy. In Balikpapan, 23% of the creative economy is in the culinary sector. Culinary tourism is popular in the city, although finding gastronomic information, especially for foreigners, can be difficult. As a result, there is a need for a culinary application that can provide information about Balikpapan's different culinary delights. Prior to developing a culinary application, the initial step entails the creation of a user flow. This user flow aims to establish a development team for the purpose of creating culinary apps that align with user requirements and customer satisfaction. The process of developing a user flow encompasses multiple steps, including literature research, understanding context of use, specify user requirements, and design user flow solution.  Several elements and processes that can be included in a culinary application have been identified through research conducted with 30 entrepreneurs and 30 food enthusiasts. Ratings, delivery services, promotions, menus, favorite menus, best seller menus, payment options, order services, training, reports, maps, and other features are available. By displaying the user flow and offering step-by-step instructions for users, this research serves as the first stage in constructing the culinary application. The user flow will aid in communication and demonstrating how the culinary application functions. The findings will also be used to develop a culinary application prototype that demonstrates the user interface and user experience

    Classification of Banana Ripeness Based on Color and Texture Characteristics

    Banana is one of the most consumed fruits globally and is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. With the many benefits that bananas have, many farmers cultivate this fruit. The problem that occurs when the harvest is produced on a large scale is the process of selecting bananas that are still unripe or ripe. Usually farmers carry out the selection process manually by visually identifying ripeness based on the color of the fruit skin. However, direct observation has several drawbacks such as subjectivity, takes a long time and is inaccurate. For this reason, we need a system that can help determine the maturity level of bananas automatically through a series of banana image processing processes. One way that can be used to determine the maturity level of bananas is by looking at the color and texture of the bananas. This study aims to classify the maturity level of bananas based on the color and texture characteristics of the banana image using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix and K-Nearest Neighbor methods for the classification process. Based on the results of the research analysis that has been carried out, using the parameter k which has a value of 3 obtains very high accuracy
