Побудовано конвеєр підготовки WDI-даних (очищення, лаги, нормування). Реалізовано навчання XGBoost (GridSearchCV + TimeSeriesSplit) і Bidirectional LSTM (EarlyStopping) в PyCharm. Оцінено моделі на єдиній вибірці за RMSE та MAE. Показано, що XGBoost знижує похибку у 1,5-8 разів.In this work, classical econometric and ML approaches are reviewed. A data- preprocessing pipeline for the World Development Indicators dataset (cleaning, lag generation, normalization) is constructed. Training of XGBoost (with GridSearchCV and TimeSeriesSplit) and Bidirectional LSTM (with EarlyStopping) is implemented in PyCharm. Both models are evaluated on a single dataset using RMSE and MAE. It is shown that XGBoost reduces forecasting error by a factor of 1.58
