Get PDFIndonesian Broadcasting Commission issued a policy regarding the play time limitation of 42 song titles deemed to have lyric content that has the potential to violate the Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standards. The 42 song titles are prohibited to be played before 10 pm and this policy only applies to radio broadcast programs. When this policy was issued, around May 2021, there were pros and cons in the community. So that researchers feel the need to conduct a research related to public perception, especially in Bandung City as the capital city of West Java Province. The research subjects are radio station workers and radio listeners who are directly affected by this policy. Radio listeners are specifically represented by college students as the young generation who always have critical thinking. Result indicated that the perception of the people of Bandung City on this policy is complex and varied, because perception is a path or process that continues to develop. Perception is also inseparable from personal factors such as educational background, occupation, motives and beliefs. The way in which messages related to this policy are conveyed or organized to radio stations and the public as well as the news about this policy in various media has contributed to the formation of various perceptions in the community. Although this policy is still perceived positively as a preventive measure, the implementation of this policy still requires more detailed elaboration to reduce the pros and cons

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRONIC EXAMINATION DEVICE FOR IMPROVING THE BLIND STUDENTS’ COMFORT

The method used is an experimental method including literature study, process design, design implementation, and test of the design. The system designed consists of two parts, namely a device for blind students and the exam monitoring application. The
student device used Raspberry Pi as a data processor, six push-buttons as braille codes, and five push-buttons as navigation buttons. It is also equipped with a text-to-speech conversion application. The examination monitoring application is functioned to process the registration of the examinees, process the exam questions, and record the exam results of the examinees. The results of this research were the examination device and exam monitoring application can function properly. This result can have the effect of improving students' comfort in taking school exams
Fungsi Reses Anggota DPRD Dalam Mengartikulasikan Aspirasi Masyarakat Kabupaten Bandung
Get PDFDemocracy ensures that the people can express their aspirations. However, sometimes the media for conveying these aspirations is still limited. DPRD as a representative institution in the region is required to carry out the function of articulating the aspirations of the people in an activity called a recess. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data collection technique is done through direct observation, interviews and Focus of Group Discussion. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results showed that members of the Bandung Regency DPRD had carried out the recess function well according to a predetermined schedule in their respective constituencies. The community participated in the recess activities enthusiastically amid the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining strict health protocols. Of course, the purpose of the community attending the recess activity is quite diverse. There is an implicit hope that their aspirations can be accommodated by DPRD members and then conveyed to interested parties in making policies. So that this recess activity is not only political, considering that DPRD members meet their constituents, but rather how the net of aspirations can be articulated
