AZ INDIAI BELSŐ VÁNDORLÁSOK NEMI ÉS TELEPÜLÉSI SAJÁTOSSÁGAI
Full text linkExamining the processes of internal migration in India, a number of phenomena that are different from migration movements prevalent in the international space can be revealed. One of the most striking of these is the dominance of female migration, as 2.4 times more women are involved in internal migration than men. In addition to economic legalities, cultural and religious reasons play a decisive role in this. Due to the rules of patrilineality and patrilocality prevailing on the subcontinent, which are also sanctioned in a religious sense, women must move into their husband\u27s household after marriage. This also contributes to the fact that in India the birth of a daughter is not always accompanied by undivided joy, since the family\u27s educational investment - due to the loss of the woman\u27s labour value after marriage - is lost and is used in her husband\u27s family. In connection with all this, it can be seen that the number of women participating in internal migrations is inversely proportional to the increase in distance. While more than 60% of migrating women change their place of residence within a district, only 10% of them change states or union territories. For the latter, the Indian megacities and their surroundings can be an extremely attractive target area for settlement. At the same time, we have shown with our studies that the areas with a high proportion of urban population are the most attractive and also have a better population retention force, since the correlation coefficient for the ratio of female immigrants and emigrants and the ratio of the urban population of the subnational unit is 0.4Tavaly, a Föld napjának áprilisi időpontját követően, hazánkban is jelentős médiavisszhangot kapott, hogy 2023-ban India letaszította a világ legnépesebb országainak uralkodói trónjáról az addig vitathatatlanul világelső Kínát, és a hazai sajtóban is publikált 1,426 – máshol 1,428 – milliárdos lakosságával, megszerezte az első helyet (GREENFO 2023, INDEX 2023, PORTFOLIO 2023 stb.). Leszámítva a sok sületlenséget, amellyel ezek a médiumok elkápráztatják olvasótáborukat, az mindenképpen figyelemre méltó, hogy felhívták a figyelmet India globális jelentőségére. Mindemellett fontos kiemelnünk azt a tényt, hogy ezek a cikkek az ENSZ népességbecslésén alapulnak, egyelőre hivatalos, népszámlálási adatokkal nem alátámaszthatóak. Sajnos jelen tanulmányunkat is csak a 2011-es indiai cenzus idevágó számadatait felhasználva készíthettük el, mivel frissebb, valid információ nem áll rendelkezésre, hiszen a világjárvány miatt elhalasztották az indiai népszámlálást. Ugyanakkor a korábbi adatokat használva is levonhatóak általános érvényű következtetések a világ népessége közel egyötödének otthont adó ország migrációs sajátosságainak tekintetében

Full text linkThe study observes the movements in the income ranking of Hungarian cities with countyrights, on the one hand, examining whether there are individual improvements in position- even if achieved through their own effective strategies - or whether territorial orsettlement network determinations limit them, on the other hand - and the actuality of thelatter is the primary motivation of the analysis - it also raises the question of whether therapid expansion of external development resources in the past decade has given someplayers a way to embark on a new path of development - in proportion to the amount offunding or the quality of its use.The conclusion of the analysis is that the process resulting in significant changes in therankings has several clear winners, and clear losers, but it seems very likely that thesechanges in the position are determined by deeper reasons rather than influenced by localstrategies and settlement development activities. The abundance of resources available fordevelopment in the 1990s has so far been able to result in few unique urban developmentpaths and position strengthening (supported by awareness of urban development). Rather,the further strengthening of the regional power fields formed over a longer period of time,and the further expansion of the differences related to their scope, can be seen andprojected. In contrast, a further strengthening of the regional forces that are taking shapeover a longer time span and a further widening of the gaps in their scope can be seen andanticipated.A településhálózat állapota, jellemzői, dinamikája, változási tendenciái fontos aspektusát jelentik egy ország általános helyzetének, annak megismerése kulcsfontosságú számos probléma megértéséhez. Full text linkIn the last decades the Scandinavian crime fiction has received increased attention all over the world and it has become one of the most important brands of the Nordic region also in Hungary. Through a wide range of crime novels new areas of literature became available for Hungarian readers and provided a more sophisticated perspective of the existing image of Scandinavian cultures and societies. The wave of crime fiction has not only contributed to a better understanding of Scandinavia but also drew attention to the genre itself, which culminated in a parody written by a Hungarian stand-up comedian, Zoltán Kőhalmi. By incorporating all the obligatory ingredients of the Scandinavian crime novels, the author does not only reuse the self-image that Scandinavian crime narratives convey, but he simply pillories the genre requirements by exaggerating the use of the well-known characteristics. By analysing Kőhalmi’s satirical use of Scandinavian crime narratives, the aim of this paper is to discuss the Hungarian reception of the genre itself as well as the image of the Northern countries depicted in Scandinavian crime fiction.In the last decades the Scandinavian crime fiction has received increased attention all over the world and it has become one of the most important brands of the Nordic region also in Hungary. Full text linkJelen tanulmány egy olyan munkamenetet mutat be, mely a használatalapú nyelvoktatási elméletekre építve ad konkrét javaslatot egy tematikus olvasókönyv feldolgozására. Bemutatja a módszertani kereteket, magát az olvasókönyvet, majd a munkamenetet, végül a projektben részt vevő nyelvtanulók értékeléseit. Azt tűzi ki célul, hogy plasztikussá tegyen egy olyan metodikai eljárást, amelynek során világosan látszanak a lépések, a célok, az indokok és az eredmények. A cikk az Olvasókönyv a MagyarOK A2-es kötetéhez (Szita & Pelcz, 2024) című tananyag tartalomalapú CLIL módszereket is alkalmazó munkamenetét mutatja be egy kérdőíves vizsgálattal követett oktatási folyamatban. A munkamódszer bemutatása mellett elemzi a kérdőíveket is, melyeknek segítségével a diákok hétről hétre számot adtak a tananyaggal folytatott munka tapasztalatairól
Postconfessionalist Breakthrough in Glück’s Poetics
Full text linkOne of the purposes of confession in confessional poetry, as stated by Diane Wood Middlebrook, is breaking through via the breaking of taboos. This act implies a deliberately bare language of honesty, where poetic complexity is entrusted to the intricacy of emotions, encompassing issues of attachment, social alienation, or mortality. Often touching on family relations, Louise Glück’s poetry too is deceptively uncomplicated. Resembling the cadence of ordinary speech, her poems create the sense that the speaker is a real person, a homogenous entity with a body and a birth certificate. There is a tension, however, between content and form in her lyric, in that it is specifically the reliability of the voice that the content interrogates. She reflects on this manifestly in “The Untrustworthy Speaker,” namely the (un)reliability of the poetic persona as a conveyor of its life events. Doing so, she breaks away from the confessionalist mode of autobiography, in which the confessional “I” lays bare the contents of the poet’s life in a gesture of protest against polite society, as an attempt to reveal the real “I,” or as an act of cleansing. Pinpointing the break achieved by Glück, Gregory Orr classifies her as postconfessional, simultaneously demarcating a stream of contemporary American poetry that complicates the notion of self found in the confessionals. It is easier to see what Glück is breaking away from in terms of confession, but much more enigmatic, what the relationship of her poetry is to breaking through. In this paper, I will attempt to grasp Glück’s postconfessionality by studying the possibility of breakthrough in her poetics, illustrating it with lines from “The Chicago Train,” “The Night Migrations,” “The Untrustworthy Speaker,” “Dead End,” “The Wild Iris,” “Snowdrops,” and “Dedication to Hunger.
