Get PDFThe present work is about one of the famous foreign travelers who visited Georgia in the XIX century, a French diplomat, orientalist, travel writer, archaeologist, philanthropist, and literary critic, Vicomte Marie-Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé (1848–1910). He wrote and published several books and works based on his travels, impressions, and encounters. One of Marie-Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé’s most important works for us is "Through the Caucasus". It is one of the parts of the book called "The Tsar and his People: or, Social Life in Russia," which was published in 1891 in New York. Our interest in this book was mainly evoked by the fact that it contains a lot of interesting information about Georgian history, culture, traditions, and the social life of the population in the second half of the XIX century. It is noteworthy that during his six-week stay in the Caucasus, Marie-Eugene Melchior de Vogue visited many cities and regions of Georgia, during the description of which the author often uses both epithets and critical assessments. Conclusively, it will not be an exaggeration if we say that Marie-Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé’s above-mentioned work, despite certain inaccuracies, should be very significant and very interesting material for researchers studying the events taking place in Georgia during that period

Publication in Scientific Journals is a tool to build the reputation of lecturers, researchers, teachers, and universities. However, the management of journals in Indonesia still does not consider the importance of indexing as a way of global dissemination. This is evident from the data showing that of the total journals registered in Indonesia, only 5.17% have been accredited. Department of Geomatics Engineering, Faculty of Mineral Technology, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has a Scientific Journal called Jurnal Ilmiah Geomatika (IMAGI). IMAGI is a forum for writing, scientific work, and research related to development and application of geodesy and geomatics, survey mapping and GNSS, land, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, photogrammetry, hydrography, geography, and geology and disasters studies. Journal accreditation can expand IMAGI connectivity to improve the quality of publications. The main objectives of this research are to optimize and improve the management of IMAGI to get maximum accreditation score. There are several steps conducted in this research including identification of the requirement for journal accreditation, preliminary assessment, evaluation of journal management, workshop and benchmarking, implementation of evaluation results, and submit the journal accreditation. The methodology that used for this research are discussion with journal expert and benchmarking with another scientific journal

Suicide, technology addiction, and school safety are all issues that must be addressed as schools return to normal in the coming months. Organized efforts are required to follow up on student problems. Interventions will also occur during and after the pandemic. As a result, school counsellors must have a good perspective and understanding of the social and emotional impacts caused by COVID-19. The author emphasizes a comprehensive approach to preventing problems that arise after the pandemic as the role of counsellors in providing practical applications. A school's success in assessing mental health requires collaboration from all stakeholders, including teachers, staff, counsellors, and parents. A school counsellor's understanding of the importance of mental health is also a factor. The authors stress the importance of mental health education, school counsellor involvement, and practical applications for preventing social and emotional problems during and after the epidemic
