Інтелектуальний контекст сакральної гимнографії в музикологічному аспекті
The presented article draws attention to sacred hymnography of the Greek-Byzantine rite – medieval liturgical sung texts. These texts were included in numerous liturgical collections and were heard daily in Christian rituals. It is important that the anonymous authors-hymnographers were profound theologians and good connoisseurs of ancient philosophy and literature, as well as talented poets and rhetoricians. So Christian dogmas were embodied in bright poetic forms and, at the same time, contained different levels of meaning. This is a deep layer of intellectual development that requires modern interdisciplinary research. The melody together with the text contributed to the reflection of theological accents.
The inseparability of the melos from the text is achieved due to the plasticity of the material, structured from simpler to more complex forms. This hierarchy is manifested in the logical selection and combination of melodic choruses, in the metrorhythmic relationships of the melody with verbal accents and the number of syllables of the poetic text sentences. This speeds up or slows down the overall flow of the melos, while highlighting significant pieces of the text. So, the words of sacred hymnography ts acquire a special sound and meaning in the process of building a musical-poetic form of sacred monody. The intellectual context of medieval sacred art is clearly traced in this cooperation
Lwowska muzykologia w latach 1950–1980 a koncepcje naukowe Stefanii Pawłyszyn
The conditions and context of the scientific, personal and social activity of Professor Stefania Pawlyshyn are presented - the activities of Polish (Adolf Chybiński) and Ukrainian (Stanyslav Lyudkevych) musicological schools in Lviv, then the model of musicology as communist propaganda in the Soviet period. Against this background, the main principles of Stefania Pawłyszyn's pedagogical and scientific activity are presented, taking into account the traditions of both Lviv musicological schools: Adolf Chybiński and Stanisław Ludkiewicz. The main principles of her scientific and pedagogical concept are distinguished: a vision of music through the prism of philosophical and ethical universals, the principle of stylistic analysis, which ensured a universal understanding of style as the core of musicological interpretation; consistent analogies of Ukrainian culture as an indispensable part of the spiritual world space; an increased sense of the pulse of our times, modernity of scientific thinking, keeping pace with current aesthetic trends; attention to the critical and journalistic aspect of musicological activity
Karol Mikuli jako propagator muzyki polskiej na ziemiach dawnej Galicji
Karol Mikuli (1821–1897) – Polish pianist, composer, and educator. He studied piano under Franciszek Kolberg, and after moving to Paris, further honed his musical skills under the guidance of Frédéric Chopin. As the director of the Galician Music Society, he promoted cultural awareness by organizing musical evenings, lectures and concerts. Additionally, he directed the music school affiliated with the Society, which gained the status of a conservatory during his tenure as director. Performing in Lviv, he promoted Chopin’s works, continuing his compositional and stylistic ideas. Among his compositions are both virtuosic pieces and genres emblematic of the Romantic era (including Ballade in B-flat major, Op. 21, and Nocturnes, Op. 19), as well as works inspired by native folklore and national traditions, e.g., Mazurkas, Polonaises and Songs of the Polish People, which are arrangements of selected folk melodies collected by Oskar Kolberg. This article is an attempt to examine the sources of the creation of this cycle and to identify disparities from the original through an analysis of the musical notation based on historical materials.Karol Mikuli (1821–1897) – polski pianista, kompozytor, pedagog.
Fostering Spatial Comprehension in Solid Geometry: The Role of Augmented Reality and GeoGebra
Augmented reality (AR) represents an innovative digital technology capable of fostering a learning environment that enhances the understanding of spatial concepts, mathematical objects, and the relationships between them. This paper looks into the features of AR and its practical appli-cations in mathematics, highlighting its transformative potential in classrooms. Addressing chal-lenges in solid geometry, such as the visualization and representation of three-dimensional (3D) spaces, AR emerges as a powerful tool, offering a dynamic means to explore and interact with geo-metric objects within real-world contexts.A particular focus is placed on the GeoGebra 3D Calculator and its integrated AR module. Through four carefully selected examples from solid geometry, we provide detailed demonstrations of how these tools can be used to solve complex problems, thereby bridging the gap between theo-retical concepts and practical understanding. These examples illustrate the profound impact of AR technology on improving spatial comprehension and engaging learners in mathematics
Postoperative diagnosis of pulmonary actinomycosis in a patient with bronchiectasis ‒ a rare case
Introduction and aim. Pulmonary actinomycosis is a rare chronic infection caused by Actinomyces species, often mimicking tuberculosis, malignancy, or other chronic lung diseases both clinically and radiologically. These similarities frequently lead to diagnostic delays. We present a rare case of pulmonary actinomycosis in a patient with long-standing bronchiectasis who developed acute hemoptysis during anticoagulant therapy.
Description of the case. A 59-year-old woman with a ten-year history of bronchiectasis and recent mechanical aortic valve replacement presented with persistent hemoptysis while on warfarin. Thoracic computed tomography revealed bronchiectatic changes and opacities in the right middle lobe. Bronchoscopy showed bloody, encrusted material, but no definitive diagnosis was made. Due to ongoing symptoms and radiological suspicion of malignancy, an urgent right middle lobectomy was performed. Histopathological analysis confirmed pulmonary actinomycosis, revealing filamentous organisms via PAS, Gram, and Grocott’s staining.
Conclusion. This case highlights the importance of considering pulmonary actinomycosis in patients with bronchiectasis and unexplained hemoptysis, particularly when standard treatment fails. Surgical resection may be essential for both diagnosis and treatment. The case underscores how structural lung disease and anticoagulant use can reveal rare infections otherwise masked by chronic symptoms

Humanized NSG mice ‒ a modern approach to modelling systemic lupus erythematosus in preclinical research
Introduction and aim. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune illness characterized by widespread immune dysregulation and involvement of several organ systems. Conventional mouse models, although crucial for understanding basic immunopathogenic pathways, inadequately mimic human-specific immunological responses, hence constraining translational relevance. This review offers a comprehensive understanding of humanized NSG mice in systemic lupus erythematosus research, outlining techniques for engraftment, model-specific immune reconstitution characteristics, and their respective applications in simulating acute and chronic disease phenotypes.
Material and methods. A comprehensive analysis of studies published between 2017 to 2025 was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar database. After removing the duplicates, a total of 87 articles were employed to finalize this study.
Analysis of literature. Humanized NSG mice successfully recapitulate major immunopathological features of systemic lupus erythematosus. Among numerous approaches, CD 34+ hemopoietic stem cell models best mimic chronic phenotype, while PBMC and pristane-based systems mimic acute and environmentally triggered forms. Recent advances include cytokine knock-in and HLA transgenic derivatives improving immune reconstitution and translational dependability.
Conclusion. This review provides the first integrative synthesis of humanized NSG mouse models applied to systemic lupus erythematosus, highlighting their translational potential and methodological advancements from 2017–2025. Collectively, these innovations establish humanized NSG mice as essential preclinical tools bridging experimental immunology with precision medicine in lupus research and therapy development
Mapping the landscape of gynecological cancer – analyzing presenting features by social network analysis
Introduction and aim. The term ‘gynecological cancers’ refers to a wide range of malignancies that affect the female reproduc tive system. These types of cancer include ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers. This study aims to employ SNA techniques to map the landscape of gynecological cancer by systematically analyzing the presenting features associated with different types of gynecological malignancies.
Material and methods. In this study, a total of 60 women diagnosed with gynecological cancer were included. An exploratory study design was used. A pre-tested questionnaire was used which includes basic demographic details, type of cancer and symptoms presented at the time of diagnosis.
Results. Nearly 44% of the women diagnosed with cancer were between the age of 51 to 60 years. Symptoms such as abdom inal pain, lumps, mild and moderate symptoms that appeared to be highly connected and influential among the cancer patients. Abdominal pain, lumps, abdominal distension/bloating, and mild symptoms had a stronger connection with all other symptoms among the cancer patients.
Conclusion. Educating patients about the significance of symptoms such as abdominal pain, lumps, and abdominal disten sion/bloating in the context of ovarian cancer can empower them to seek timely medical attention. Increased awareness of the potential implications of these symptoms may prompt patients to undergo screening and diagnostic tests earlier, leading to improved detection rates and treatment outcomes
