No full textLa Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) ha puesto en marcha el proyecto sobre el futuro de la PI para reflexionar sobre el panorama futuro del sistema de propiedad intelectual (PI) y comprender mejor cuestiones de especial importancia, tendencias cambiantes y posibles oportunidades para la innovación y la creatividad impulsadas por la PI. Más que predecir el futuro, esta iniciativa tiene por objeto ayudar a los Estados miembros de la OMPI y a los sectores interesados a examinar y comprender la repercusión de las actuales tendencias, a prepararse para afrontar los retos a medio y largo plazo que puedan afectar a la evolución del sistema de PI y a aprovechar las oportunidades que estos puedan traer consigo. El equipo del Futuro de la PI ha llevado a cabo una serie de entrevistas con líderes de opinión y expertos del ecosistema de la innovación y la creación para reflexionar sobre lo que puede ocurrir con la innovación y la creatividad impulsadas por la PI de aquí a 2034. Se han analizado más de 45 entrevistas con visionarios y expertos procedentes de gobiernos, empresas, instituciones académicas, organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) y organizaciones intergubernamentales de todas las regiones del mundo. Dicha labor ofrece una visión general de las principales tendencias que siguen incidiendo en la trayectoria de la innovación y la creatividad impulsadas por la PI, examinando los posibles escenarios positivos y negativos de los sistemas de PI y extendiéndose sobre las posibles prioridades que deben tenerse en cuenta en el futuro. En este informe se insiste en que es necesario observar atentamente desde los nuevos indicadores que surjan hasta las señales débiles que podrían configurar el panorama y la evolución del sistema de PI. La información que aportan las entrevistas permite comprender las transformaciones a lo largo de un período prolongado y proyectar sobre una buena base los posibles escenarios futuros con respecto a la innovación y la creatividad impulsadas por la PI
