Le poids des produits écologiques dans la satisfaction globale : une question d’asymétrie
No full textInternational audienceParmi les recherches sur l’asymétrie des facteurs qui influencent la satisfaction des consommateurs, le volet lié aux offres écologiques est encore insuffisamment étudié. C’est ce gap que comble cet article. À l’issue d’une analyse textométrique de nombreux avis envers deux marques de vêtements de sport extérieur et de trois fournisseurs d’énergie, nous développons un modèle de satisfaction pour les produits verts grâce auquel nous démontrons que les facteurs étudiés ne contribuent pas de la même manière à la satisfaction globale. En outre, ce modèle positionne l’attribut écologique comme un levier attractif qui n’entre en jeu que lorsque le consommateur exprime une satisfaction élevée. Enfin, les implications managériales de cette recherche sont discutées, notamment en termes de relation client

An alternating direction method of multipliers approach for the reconfiguration of radial electrical distribution systems
No full textInternational audienceThe electrical network reconfiguration problem aims to minimize losses in a distribution system by adjusting switches while ensuring the radiality (tree structure) of the network. Although this problem can be formulated as a mixed integer nonlinear program, solving the resulting optimization problem requires significant time and resources. A carefully selected initial solution, which can be identified by appropriate heuristics, reduces the search space, accelerates convergence, and ensures feasibility. This paper introduces two heuristic algorithms based on the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) to address this problem. These heuristics break down the problem into smaller, more manageable subproblems that can be solved efficiently. Two algorithms are developed: one relies on natural variable substitution, and the other on a previously used relaxation technique. The challenge encountered in previous studies of incorporating radial constraints with ADMM is addressed by redefining the combinatorial subproblem in the projection step of ADMM as a minimum weight rooted arborescence problem, whose solutions are guaranteed to be radial. Convex optimization techniques can then handle the remaining subproblems. The performance of both heuristics is evaluated through numerical experiments on the 33-bus and 70-bus systems, as well as on a real-world electrical network
Sex-dependent effects of stress on aIC-NAc circuit neuroplasticity: Role of the endocannabinoid system
No full textInternational audienceStress is a major risk factor for psychiatric disorders and affects neuroplasticity in brain areas like the nucleus accumbens core (NAcC) and the insular cortex (IC). This study examined neuroplasticity changes in the aIC-NAcC circuit after restraint stress in male and female rats, and explored the role of the endocannabinoid system.Male and female rats underwent 2 h of acute restraint stress. Behavioral tests and in vivo electrophysiological recordings were performed immediately and 24 h after stress exposure. cFos was performed immediately after stress. Since stress effects were observed only in males, we evaluated the systemic and intra-NAc blockade of CB1 receptors in male rats.We found increased c-Fos expression in the hypothalamus but not in the IC in both sexes after acute restraint stress, along with heightened anxiety and reduced exploratory behavior. Males and females exhibited different neuronal plasticity in the aIC-NAcC pathway. Under basal conditions, males showed equal proportions of long-term potentiation (LTP) and long-term depression (LTD), whereas females predominantly exhibited LTP. Stress disrupted synaptic plasticity in males by eliminating LTD in the aIC-NAcC pathway 24 h after exposure. This effect was reversed by systemic and local CB1 receptor blockade.These findings suggest that integration of aIC information into NAcC differs by sex, with stress-induced neuroplasticity changes occurring only in males, dependent on the endocannabinoid system. This study provides insight into sex differences in stress reactivity, which may relate to stress-related psychiatric disorders

The public authorities' management of the crisis has highlighted numerous challenges, particularly the need for innovative approaches to public administration. Crisis communication, a key aspect of crisis management that shapes public perceptions and emotional reactions, has been marked by several failures. The primary aim of this research is to explore the specific responses of populations to the COVID-19 health crisis, with the goal of providing actionable insights for more effective crisis management. Specifically, effective crisis communication requires the incorporation of qualitative indicators that capture the perceptions, emotions, and values of citizens, as well as consideration of the spatio-temporal framework of the crisis, which reveal diverse adaptations to change. This more targeted, human-centered ‘care approach’ to crisis communication can address the systemic shortcomings exposed by the health crisis, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of public policies and improving the well-being of populations

Gas radiation effect on a turbulent thermal plume in a confined cavity using direct numerical simulation
No full textInternational audienceInfluence of gas radiation on a thermal plume is investigated in a cubical cavity filled with humid air (air/H2O mixture) by means of Direct Numerical Simulation. In this work, radiation within the fluid is considered by the SLW model developed by Denison and Webb and numerically solved using the Discrete Ordinate Method (S8 quadrature). The simulations are conducted for humid air with different amounts of water vapor and compared to the case without radiation. Two values of the Rayleigh numbers, 2 X 106 and 1 X 109, are considered, corresponding to steady and turbulent flow regimes. Steady solutions show that gas radiation tends to reduce the spatial spreading of the thermal plume and to homogenize the temperature field away from the heat source. Gas radiation also results in an attenuation of the global circulation. It is shown that the radiative fluxes are much higher than convective fluxes on the isothermal walls, and the radiative heat transfer still increases with the water vapor concentration. For the turbulent regime, accounting for radiation leads to a less fluctuating behavior of the plume and induces a global shift of the mean temperature field in most of the cavity, except in the region around the heat source. Regarding the mean flow field, thermal radiation tends to weaken the intensity of flow circulation, but to accelerate the flow velocity along the centerline above the heat source

À travers cette communication, nous nous proposons de présenter leurs comportements de consommation pour soulever les spécificités de leur acculturation en Corée du Sud. Dans la mesure où nous voulons élargir le spectre de compréhension de leur acculturation, nous tentons de soulever une logique sous-jacente susceptible d’exercer une influence sur leur processus d’acculturation. Pour ce faire, nous menons une étude qualitative auprès de 20 réfugiés nord-coréens. Les analyses lexicométrique et sémantique des entretiens semi-directifs individuels et de groupes ont permis la découverte d’une logique confucéenne agissant sur le processus d’acculturation des réfugiés nord-coréens
