Get PDFThe purpose of this design project is to design and demonstrate a complete mechatronic system that will regulate a desired temperature of a fluid and control the rate at which it is delivered. This system can serve several purposes and have numerous applications. In particular, applications are inclusive of, but not limited to the medical administration of certain types of medication. The Fluid Delivery System By Process Control can be utilized to control any number of factors such as the temperature of the medication, rate of administration, flow control, mixture ratios, and time and frequency of administration

Both of these novels, set on plantations in rural Louisiana, present race relations during the 1960s and 1970s. Initially, the novels present stable, tranquil African American communities where everyone is content with their status. The community members have given up important internal qualities such as courage, self-worth, and individualism, to maintain the community\u27s tenuous equilibrium. However, one community member realizes one of the taboo qualities within himself and exhibits it freely. The community is shaken to their core as they are confronted with changes in their world. The people must decide whether they want to move with the changing world or remain in their past world. This conflict between unknown change and the familiar constant exposes the racism rooted in their world
Southern University business majors understanding the stock market

The study reveals that while many students feel that it is important to understand the stock market, when considering their major, the majority feel that they are not as well versed on the stock market as they should be. A random sampling was performed in order to draw conclusions about the business students and to determine just how many students are knowledgeable of the stock market

Get PDFThe Department of Computer science was established as an instructional unit in college of sciences in 1968 at Southern University, Baton Rouge. The department serves more than 300 undergraduates and 80 graduate students in both education systems options. Academic Services or Graduate School provides the information on the Computer Science department to the requestors depending on their requests. This processing is not only taking staff time in attending the requests but also costing money to the University for mailing the Catalogs. Sometimes it may take more than a month to get the information after the process is initiated. The Chairman of the Department of Computer Science felt a need for a computer-based system that will provide the information about the computer science department. It would include programs of study, admission requirements, graduation requirements, computing facilities, courses of instruction, the faculty of instruction research interests and assistantships etc. World Wide Web site, set-up in the department of Computer Science is a computer-based system that will provide all information about the Computer Science department. This system will provide its users an affective interaction through its graphical interface and capabilities. This special project realizes the information database for the computer science department and presents it in a very easy format to navigate. This system will maintain the updated information of the Computer Science Department
