From Betrayal to Belonging: An Autoethnography of Resilience, Loss, and Renewal in a Migrant Woman’s Life in London
No full textThis autoethnographic study tells the story of a Turkish-born immigrant woman who rebuilt her life in England after facing numerous personal challenges, including betrayal, loss, and illness. After moving to London, she began a new life as an ESOL teacher, having been a certified ESOL teacher with extensive experience in various countries. Her journey demonstrates how people can discover new strength and meaning after facing difficult experiences as an immigrant in a different country. The study is based on three main perspectives: resilience theory (Masten, 2021), which explains how people recover after hardship; transformative learning theory (Mezirow, 1991), which shows how education can change the way people see themselves and the world; and post-traumatic growth (Tedeschi and Calhoun, 2004), which describes how people can grow emotionally after trauma. The narrator used teaching English as a way to heal herself and help others. By supporting adult immigrants in their learning and integration process, she also found her own sense of purpose and belonging. Through reflection and analysis, this paper demonstrates that education can serve as both a profession and a means of emotional recovery. It can give people a reason to move forward and rebuild confidence after pain. By linking personal experience with these theories, the paper contributes to current research on migration and well-being. It demonstrates that classrooms and educational settings can become safe and healing spaces where teachers and learners share experiences, find hope, and co-create new meanings together in multicultural societies (Masten, 2021; Mezirow, 1991; Tedeschi and Calhoun, 2004). Moreover, migration can be considered an act of recovery. Leaving behind places filled with painful memories and moving to a new environment can offer emotional distance, safety, and the possibility of a fresh start. Starting life in a country where no one is familiar allows a person to redefine their story and identity in a more empowering way (King, 2012). In this sense, migration is not only a response to loss or difficulty but also a process of healing and self-reconstruction (Ryan, 2018). It can give individuals the chance to rebuild meaning, find hope, and open a new chapter in life, turning movement into transformation. For many migrants, especially women who often face social pressure, limited opportunities, or painful memories in their home countries, migration represents both escape and rebirth, offering emotional and psychological recovery alongside new social and educational possibilities (Papadopoulos, 2007; Bhugra, 2020). Through migration to a new country, they gain the chance to rebuild self-confidence, rediscover their sense of identity, and shape a more hopeful future

There are a few species of white aphids in the world, but the species found on grass, flowers, and vegetable crops create significant problems for the yield and health of the plants. They affect the ecological environment in terms of biological cycling of the soil and environmental conditions, which can be focused on along with the plants. But for the identification and management of the insects that spread on a large scale, many predator species, like maintenance and parasitoid wasps, have been considered as the experts for biological control and prevention of the effects. No full textPurpose: This study provides recent empirical evidence on the effect of capital structure debt level, liquidity, and solvency on the profitability of Indonesian technology companies during 2019-2023.
Methodology/approach: A quantitative case study was conducted using panel data from financial reports of IT and online service companies listed on the IDX (2019–2023). Financial ratios (DAR, CR, DER, ROA) were analyzed using EViews 12 with purposive sampling and panel data regression.
Results: The study found no significant simultaneous effect of DAR, CR, and DER on ROE. Partially, liquidity had a significant positive effect, solvency has a significant impact, though it indicated a potential positive relationship if managed properly. The finding indicate that although debt level, liquidity, and solvency do not have a simultaneous significant impact on profitability, liquidity and solvency individually play a key role in influencing financial performance. This highlights the importance of maintaining strong liquidity and managing solvency effectively in the technology sector.
Conclusion: Partially, only the Current Ratio (CR) has a significant positive effect on ROA, while DAR and DER are not significant. However, simultaneously the three variables have a significant effect with a contribution of 16.53%, emphasizing the importance of liquidity management in improving the profitability of technology companies.
Limitations: The study is limited by sample size, lack of moderating variables, exclusion of other influencing factors, and a single method quantitative approach.
Contribution: The study serves as a reference for company management in financial planning, for investors in conducting analysis, and for academics as a basis for future research exploring new variables, periods, sectors, or methods

No full textУ статті проаналізовано філософські інтерпретації ідеї мультикультуралізму, експоновані представниками класичної та «нової» антропології (С. Жижек, Е. В. де Кастро, Е. Кон, К. Леві-Строс, Б. Латур). Констатовано багатовекторність підходів та множинність дефініцій мультикультуралізму у діапазоні від оптимістичного схвалення до жорсткої критики. Конкретизовано зміст критики ідеї мультикультуралізму у дискурсі «нової антропології», висвітлено філософське підґрунтя критичного контенту. Зазначено, що європейський та американський концепт мультикультуралізму ґрунтується на тезі про одиничність природи і множинності її культурозумовлених репрезентацій. Новий підхід, навпаки, припускає єдність духу й різноманітність тіл. У проєктах «нових антропологів» мононатуралізм змінюється на мультинатуралізм, що ставить під сумнів філософське обґрунтуванням мультикультуралізму та вимагає його подальшого філософського аналізу

The Interpretation of Psychology on Writing Victorian Literature
No full textSigmund Freud, who was often referred to as the “father of modern psychology,” and was recognized by many as the father of psychoanalysis, revolutionized the understanding of the human mind. According to his theory, individuals are driven by an unconscious need to satisfy their wants for pleasure. The foundation of contemporary psychoanalysis was laid by Jung through the use of archetypes as universal symbols and themes that reside in the collective unconscious and Freud in The Interpretation of Dreams (1990) and Civilization and Its Discontents (1930). The concepts of conflicts, the unconscious mind, dreams as symbolic expressions, and conflicts between the id, ego, and superego resonate intensely with the writers seeking to explore the psychological depths of their characters and that writing is not only a creative means, but one that is based on science. In exploring the Victorian novels of Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, we are able to find specific Freudian concepts in relation to the texts, with a particular attention to the exploration of the main characters of the novels as they relate to psychoanalysis
