    Edwina Carruth was the Director of Programming at Christian Brothers College, and she taught Speech and English. In 1968, a new FM radio station broadcasted classical music and educational programs from CBC, which Carruth explained was to teach students announcing and broadcast engineering. When CBC became co-ed in 1970, Carruth was appointed the Assistant to the Director of Admissions for Female Students. She was the first Dean of Women. When Carruth resigned, Sister Frances Catherine Lehan, Academic Dean at Siena College, became the new Dean of Women at CBC

    Brothers Arthur Higgins and Bernard Murphy pose with Coach Tony Gagliano. Gagliano had been a student athlete during the 1930s when Brothers Arthur and Bernard were his coaches. He coached the CBHS baseball team from 1958-1964. In addition, he coached Memphis' American Legion baseball teams to 18 state championships in 20 years, winning the national title in 1968. This photo was taken before the final game in the Tennessee state Legion tournament of 1963
