Sister Ginny was called to Memphis in 1979 by the Christian Brothers to administer a subsidized housing project. She and Bauer founded the St. Patrick’s Neighborhood Development Corporation in 1988 to provide homes for low-income families in Memphis. Bauer was also a graduate of Christian Brothers College
