Part of Christian Brothers University's campus beautification program that accompanied the construction of Buckman hall was this wall lining the front of the campus along Central and East Parkway. It has 6-foot high brick piers with 5-foot high iron fencing.

Letter from Brother Theodore Drahmann to Marguerite Piazza
President Brother Theodore thanked opera singer, Marguerite Piazza, for changing her flight from San Francisco to be able to sing at the dedication of Buckman Hall.
Marguerite Piazza was an American soprano of the mid-20th century. An early cross-over artist, she sang both opera and popular music. Born in New Orleans, she later lived in Memphis and was long a supporter of Christian Brothers College

Buckman staircase
The bas relief sculpture, "The Essence of Mertie" by Jill Burkee, and a portrait of Blanche Spain, "Expectancy" by Billy Price Carroll, are visible between the two staircases. Mertie Buckman and Blanche Spain made significant donations to CBU
Moving Schedule for Buckman Hall
The Maintenance Department for Christian Brothers University provided the schedule for moving into the newly completed Buckman Hall. Moving-in took place from August 6 through August 24, 1992
