    The front view of the William Gaston Pearson Cafeteria, which was named in honor of William Gaston Pearson, a businessmen, educator, an incorporator of the National Religious Training School and Chautauqua, and one of the original organizers of the North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company. William Gaston Pearson Cafeteria was constructed in 1966, annex added in 1983, renovated in 1991 and again in 2007. The annex has been demolished

    The program for an annual Garnett-Nabrit Lectures (GNL) series, focusing on the theme, "Bright Lights In A Dark World." The GNL series, which started in 1958, is an annual minister's institute, honoring the legacies of J.M. Nabrit, the fourth president of American Baptist College and J.H. Garnett, a former dean of American Baptist College. Every year, religious leaders and scholars gather to address issues regarding religious leadership and service. This GNL features Dr. T.J.
