Setting the Standard, Tuskeana
This is the 1999 Tuskegee University yearbook, Setting the Standard, Tuskeana. It includes photos of the university’s president, Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, as well as faculty and students. Campus life events featured the flood of the “Chappie” James Arena and a visit from AIDS activist and former student Rosetta Lynn Chamberlain. Also highlighted are homecoming performances by comedian Rickey Smiley, Destiny’s Child, OutKast, Lord Tariq, and Peter Gunz.
