Pinkett, racial discrimination in Washington, D.C and the National Archives, and Pinkett's education and leadership experience in Salisbury, Maryland. This speech is located on side B of the cassette. "Paradigms of Archivist: Sara Jackson, James Walker and Harold Pinkett". Harold Pinkett was the first African American to be appointed an archivist at the National Archive. He served for more than 35 years as a specialist in agriculture archives, senior records appraiser, and chief archivist of the National Records Branch.
