It highlighted the need for long-term monitoring in both clinical settings, to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient care, and in home settings, to offer continuous remote monitoring, potentially improving health outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. Reliable monitoring of vital parameters like EEG, EMG, and heart rate for elderly and chronic patients, a challenge effectively met by developing continuous, real-time, and nonintrusive wearable, highly integrated sensor networks.
The issue captured the rapid growth of the wearable medical device market and the evolution of biosensors and textile-based technologies, driven by advancements in microfabrication, flexible electronics, nanomaterials, and advances in wireless communication. It also explored how physiological monitoring using AI-powered digital health platforms is redefining healthcare, improving the quality of patient personalized care, and delivering value to all stakeholders. This collection of research now stands as a valuable resource, capturing the state-of-the-art in this exciting and emerging field

Ngoài ra, thói quen chưa bền vững như lười kiểm tra thuốc trong tủ cũng góp phần làm tăng rủi ro cho sức khỏe. Mặc dù phần lớn người dân đều nhận thức được tác hại của thuốc hết hạn, nhưng chưa có hành động cụ thể để quản lý. Bài thuyết trình hướng đến việc thu hẹp khoảng cách giữa nhận thức và hành động, góp phần nâng cao ý thức bảo quản và xử lý thuốc trong gia đình một cách an toàn và khoa học
Genomic Characterization of Antimicrobial Resistance and Evolution Mechanism of Bacteria
No full text200 p.In the ever-evolving battle against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), our understanding of the genomic landscape of bacteria and their mechanisms of evolution has become pivotal. In bacteria, resistance to antibiotics is determined by genetic factors such as chromosomes, plasmids or other movable genetic elements. Although antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) typically exhibit significant sequence variability, such as the impact of different concentrations of antibiotics on their genomic dynamics, the impact of this diversity on AMR is still unclear. Therefore, understanding the dynamic changes and mobilization of antibiotic resistance genes in humans, animals, plants and environmental microorganisms through genomics and metagenomics methods is crucial.
This Special Issue seeks to foster a comprehensive understanding of the genetic underpinnings of bacterial antimicrobial resistance and the evolutionary dynamics that underlie these adaptations
