Australian literary representation and the construction of home
Literary representation has been one of the significant pathways for Australians to seek national identity and build a sense of home. From the arrival of white settlers in Australia to the end of the 20th century, the literary representation of this land by Australian writers has undergone a transformation from rural to urban areas and from a singular to a pluralistic approach. During the colonial period, Australian literary representation was primarily focused on the unique natural environment of Australia, yet it was regarded as an" other" on the periphery. In the period of nationalism, the representation was of the bush, which had distinct Australian characteristics. After World War II, the focus of representing Australia began to shift towards the cities, ultimately leading to a successful portrayal of Australia. The evolution of the main subjects of Australian literary representation mirrors the cultural development of Australians from being subordinate to Britain and experiencing confusion and inferiority, to becoming independent and confident in representing Australia and constructing their spiritual home

Chemical and pharmacological studies of cornus officinalis
This article reviews the chemical components and pharmacological effects of Cornus officinalis Sieb.et Zucc., a traditional Chinese medicinal herb that contains a variety of active ingredients, including iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, organic acids, and tannins. These components endow Cornus officinalis with multiple pharmacological actions, such as neuroprotection, anti-diabetes and its complications, cardioprotection, anti-tumor, and antioxidant effects. In particular, the paper discusses the impact of Cornus officinalis iridoid glycosides on learning and memory ability after cerebral ischemia, as well as their potential mechanisms in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Additionally, the application of Cornus officinalis methanol extract in promoting melanin synthesis and its anti-inflammatory, anti-fatigue, antibacterial, anti-osteoporotic, and hepato- and reno-protective effects are also discussed. Although progress has been made in existing research, the specific roles and mechanisms of some newly discovered compounds in Cornus officinalis still require further investigation. This paper aims to provide a reference for in-depth research and clinical application of Cornus officinalis

TCM diagnostics for injury prevention in Mid/Long-Distance runs
The middle and long-distance running event in the "College Students\u27 Physical Health Standards" test has the effect of enhancing students\u27 willpower, expressiveness, and social adaptability. However, injuries are highly likely to occur during the middle and long-distance running, which can cause physical harm and mental pressure to schools, teachers, parents, and students, and affect the authenticity of the test results. The "Four Diagnostic Methods" of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are treasures of our country\u27s traditional medical culture. By utilizing the rich theories and experiences of TCM\u27 s "Four Diagnostic Methods" to explore the hidden dangers that lead to sports injuries, it is possible to prevent injuries in middle and long-distance running at an early stage and reduce the occurrence of sports injuries
The \u27Zero consumption\u27 phenomenon of elderly people\u27s sports and leisure in the Yangtze River delta region
This study investigates the current status of the "zero consumption" phenomenon in sports and leisure activities among elderly individuals in the Yangtze River Delta region, analyzing its characteristics and underlying causes. Data related to the consumption of sports and leisure activities among the elderly in this region were obtained through methods such as questionnaires and interviews. The results indicate that "zero consumption" in elderly sports and leisure activities is a common social phenomenon in the Yangtze River Delta region of China. It is not only a result of economic income constraints but also a consumption trend formed under the influence of various factors such as aging and declining physical fitness. While "zero consumption" does not significantly affect the elderly\u27 s participation in sports and leisure activities, it may to some extent impact the diversification of these activities. Given the current participation status of elderly individuals in sports and leisure activities in China, it is still unable to play a crucial leading role in the development of the leisure industry as seen in developed countries
Youth Philanthropy and Social Integration A Functional Study
The efforts of youth philanthropic and charitable organizations in social advocacy and integration are crucial for the personal development of young people and the creation of a positive social environment. Currently, many youth philanthropic and charitable organizations have initiated a range of public education activities, aiming to not only enhance public awareness but also to engage in policy advocacy, forming basic patterns and experiences. Research on the social advocacy activities of the Y Fund demonstrates that as catalysts for social advocacy, these youth organizations draw in related organizations and the public to form cooperative networks. They leverage professional training, financial support, and event planning, using new media to focus on social issues, creating an effective model of influence that interacts both online and offline. This model effectively connects with policy advocacy, mobilizes key groups and grassroots communities to participate, and achieves the goals of promoting policy improvement and social integration. It provides valuable insights for philanthropic and charitable organizations to realize their social functions
