Study on Photocatalytic Properties of TiO2 with Special Morphology by Using Natural Template

    Get PDF
The TiO₂ photocatalysts with special morphology were synthesized in this paper. The authors used malus micro malus leaves and in docalamus leaves as template, and tetrabutyl titanate (TBT)as Ti source. The special shaped TiO₂ photocatalysts have high photocatalytic activity because of its unique morphology and s tructure. The structure and morphology of TiO₂ were characlerized by XRD and SEM, respectively. The photocatalytic activities were examined by the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) under ultraviolet light (λ=365nm) iradiation. The results indicated that the TiO2 photocatalyst, using indocalamus leaves as templates, exhibited better adsorption and photocatalytic performance in degrading MB  than using malus micro malus leaves, when the amount of nitric acid was 20 mL and following heat treatment at 600 ℃

    Get PDF
Objective To explore the effects of Polygonatum King ilium and Earthworm Formula (RPEWM) on the activity of calcium-regulating enzymes and free calcium ion (Ca2+) concentration in SH-SY5Y cells with Aβ damage in vitro. Methods SH-SY5Y cells were induced to differentiate with retinoic acid, then damaged by Aβ to mimic Alzheimer\u27s disease (AD) injury. RPEWM extract was added during the AD injury to protect the cells, and its effects on cell proliferation, apoptosis, and the activity of cellular Ca2+-ATPase、Ca2+-Mg2+- ATPase ,as well as free calcium ion concentration were observed. Results RPEWM extract significantly protected cells from AD injury, resisted apoptosis, and promoted cell proliferation; it increased the activity of intracellular Ca2+-ATPase、Ca2+-Mg2+- ATPase, reduced Ca2+ concentration, and showed a dose-dependent relationship. Conclusion RPEWM has a good protective effect on differentiated SH-SY5Y cells with Aβ25-35damage and has a certain therapeutic effect on AD

The influence of temperature and time of the acid washing and hydrothermal treatment on Beta zeolite properties was examined in detail, the results revealed that acid washing at 2h and 80℃and 2h hydrothermal treatment at 650℃are the best modification operating conditions. The different SiO2/Al2O3ratio of Beta zeolite are systematically modified using optimized modification operating conditions. Beta zeolite modified from higher SiO2/Al2O3ratio of the starting Beta also has higher SiO2/Al2O3 ratio. Crystallinity of starting Beta zeolite has less effect on the modified Beta zeolite. As the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of starting Beta increased, total acid amount of modified Beta decreased. When the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of starting Beta is bigger, the surface area and pore volume is higher

Objective: To explore the correlation between ultrasonic signs and molecular biological expression in breast cancer, in order to improve the diagnostic level of ultrasound for breast cancer and provide reliable imaging information for the treatment and prognosis assessment of breast cancer. Methods: A total of 50 patients with breast cancer confirmed by surgical pathology were randomly selected and underwent high-frequency breast ultrasound examination, focusing on observing the shape, edge, posterior echo, microcalcification, internal blood flow, and axillary lymph nodes of the mass; immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of ER, PR, and CerbB-2 genes, and their relationship with ultrasound performance was analyzed. Results: ① The detection rate of microcalcification in breast cancer <2cm was the highest, followed by spiculated edge; the detection rate of irregular shape was higher in tumors >2cm. ② The positive rate of ER and PR in patients with a tumor aspect ratio >1 was 77.8% and 61.1%, respectively, which was higher than those with an aspect ratio ≤1 (P<0.05); ③ The positive rate of ER and PR in patients with spiculated edge signs was 65.5% and 55.2%, respectively, which was higher than those without spiculated edge (P<0.05); ④ The positive rate of ER and PR in patients with peripheral high echo dizzy was 73.3% and 60.0%, respectively, both higher than those without high echo dizzy (P<0.05); ⑤ The positive rate of PR in patients with anechoic area was 22.2%, lower than those without anechoic area (P<0.05); ⑥ The positive rate of CerbB-2 in patients with microcalcification was 83.3%, higher than those without microcalcification (P<0.05). Conclusion: There is a certain relationship between the ultrasound performance of breast cancer and the expression of molecular biological indicators, and the biological characteristics of the tumor affect the ultrasound performance of breast cancer. Ultrasound examination can provide imaging basis for the prognosis assessment and clinical treatment selection of breast cancer
