Leader: It is God, the Lord of all our days, who has caused 
the light to shine out of the darkness' and in the act 
of creation created form and beauty out of chaos. 
People: To the glory of the Lord of' Light we dedicate this 
window. 
Leader: That same God has illumined our lives through the 
gift of Jesus the Christ; opening our minds to the 
truth, our hearts to love, and our souls to the 
revelation of' freedom. 
People: To the glory of the Lord of' Light we dedicate this 
window. 
Leader: By the presence of' the Spirit, God invites all those 
who would see the dawn of God's Kingdom to join in 
doing justice, loving mercy and walking humbly 
alongside the Lord of Light, comforter and sustainer.

Leader: This many-faceted God who leads us in rekindling 
hope among all creation and offers clarification for 
complicated lives, also comes to us through the 
dedication of' human beings. One such person was 
Wallace M. Alston, who, as a faithful steward of his 
gifts, helped in many ways to focus the glory of the 
Lord of Light for Agnes Scott College. He, for many 
students, faculty, staff, administrators, family and 
friends, embodied the pervasive radiance of' a life 
lived in relationship to our God. 
People: And so, to the glory of the Lord of Light and in 
memory of Wallace M. Alston and his service to 
God and the people of Agnes Scott College we 
dedicate this window. 
All: May God continue to illumine this institution and 
the lives of those here through the gifts of creativity, 
freedom, and love. Praise always to the Lord of'
