    One black and white negative of a pleasure boat named Sophia with a canopy at an unidentified lock, probably Lock 41 or Lock 42 on the Ohio and Erie Canal in Cleveland in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The waters of the canal can be seen in the foreground while the boat exiting the lock can be seen in the midground. Four passengers can be seen on the boat wile a man, possibly the locktender, can be seen standing on the lock wall helping the boat exit the lock. Trees, telephone poles, and a steel truss bridge can be seen in the background
