RELACIÓN ENTRE EL ESTRÉS Y RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE CÁLCULO INTEGRAL EN EL TECNOLÓGICO DE CIUDAD JUÁREZ. UN ENFOQUE SISTÉMICO
The importance of academic stress should not only focus on the health problems that are generated by its presence but also the effect on the student's academic performance is of interest. Performance is usually measured based on a grade awarded by the teacher, supported by the criteria of the established class program (papers, exams, assignments, etc.). Some symptoms tend to be detected more quickly such as the failure rate and dropout, especially in those subjects that require a higher level of effort and concentration, which is since it is difficult to be in contact with all the students and thus detect if any health problem is present. For this reason, over the years, importance has been given to academic stress and research has been carried out, the results of which suggest that this phenomenon is present and affects the quality of life of students and their development. The high failure rate in integral calculus with the mentioned context gives rise to this research, which has as its object the study of stress and the academic performance of the students of the Tecnológico Nacional de México campus Ciudad Juárez, to gather and describe the nature of the relationship between said variables, considering the main stressors using the Logistic Regression model where those of greater significance are highlighted with a view to greater efficiency in performance through the systemic approach
ELEMENTS OF VISUAL RHETORICS IN THE SEMIOTIC SYSTEM OF LANGUAGES
Non-verbal forms have always played an important role in the communication process, but advances in technology have made communication with visual images more popular. Images began to be used in different forms for different purposes. Recent studies of rhetoric have taken a pictorial direction. This is due to the recent popularity of visual cues in modern cultures. Like other codes, figurative language is a system that reflects the realities of any culture. Being content with just verbal communication means understanding only a small part of the signs that surround us and play an important role in our daily lives
Problems of the Emergence and Formation of the Russian Historical Novel
It is known that the historical novel was marked by the appearance in the first half of the XIX century of works by W. Scott, V. Hugo, A. Vigny and other writers who described the past, which resonated with the general public. It was then that the historical novel became dominant as a genre for literary thought, acquiring literary forms: a qualitatively new cultural and historical world that significantly expanded "this space of civilization" led to the emergence of a number of new historiographical ideas. NATIONAL MINORITIES AND THE RIGHT TO SELFDETERMINATION
The political situation of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century is characterized by the increasing influence of the ethno-national factor on the political processes taking place both in individual States and within the international community. There is growing antagonism among peoples within multinational States, accompanied by violent civil wars and refugee flows. Yugoslavia and Russia are striking examples of such conflicts. Along with the integration processes, which resulted in the creation of political, economic and social institutions at the supranational level, there is a trend of ethnicism of the European political space. Increasingly, national minorities are seeking to establish their own States or want to join the ancestral state. The characteristics of the smart city funding model are revealed: the state's use, along with budgetary allocations, of indirect support measures through tax preferences and social technologies, direct measures through grants and subsidies, as well as the attraction of private investment through public-private partnerships. The models of return on investment are systematized within various forms of interaction between business and the state. IDEOLOGICAL NARRATIVE IN MODERN AMERICAN POLITICAL DISCOURSE
The discourse of American politicians like any other political figures prominently features a narrative – a system of interconnected stories that transition from one into another from speech to speech. The ideological narrative in political discourse plays an important part in myth creation in supporting the concept of Exceptional America. The potential of linguistic means, specifically, metaphors, in the narrative is typically used to achieve the main communicative goal – for example, the protection of traditional values, America's right for exceptionalism and promotion of the national interests. Context analysis of the usage of these metaphors shows that the speaker models politics as a means of protecting valuable concepts (freedom, peace, leadership, democracy, security, health, dream) which feeds into a myth in the public consciousness, be it the American dream, American exceptionalism, American freedoms or something else. In these contexts, metaphors are usually aimed at influence rather than modeling the political system. The metaphors capture the audience, show the speaker's solidarity with the public and prompt the people to engage in a dialogue with the authorities, hold those in power accountable, not be afraid, feel the unity and historical continuity of the common cause and build the future together. The conceptual metaphor is an efficient narrative technique and way to transition from language to consciousness. The modeling of the state's actions aimed at protecting the basic values of the American society activates in the addressee's consciousness a metaphorical model that contributes to a more figurative and accessible interpretation of reality. The article deals with the features of metaphor functioning in the modern ideological narrative of the United States of America, expounds the role of the metaphors in the implementation of the global communicative strategy "Us and Them" and the ensuing tactical moves.
DISINCENTIVE FACTORS AND PRECONDITIONS FOR INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL ECONOMIES: INTERNATIONAL ASPECT
The article deals with rather controversial influence of stimulating and disincentive factors on the innovation processes in national economies taking into account the achieved stages of innovation development, which are defined as innovation stagnation, activation of the innovation process and permanent innovation regime. The authors propose to separate approaches to understanding the essence of innovation development for developing economies and technologically developed countries, depending on what to consider the direction of action of innovation factors. While the countries belonging to the group of innovation leaders are undergoing a technological revolution, developing countries are solving the problems of forming national innovation system based on the mechanisms of interaction within the triple helix and ensuring the overcoming of innovation stagnation. The authors pay special attention to consideration of various innovation hindering factors, which are grouped into innovation challenges, threats and barriers, the effect being determined by the time horizon of action. This approach facilitates the search of effective measures of state regulation in the innovation sphere. Based on the results, the authors have proved the necessity of a closer international cooperation using various forms of networking interaction aimed at elimination of global technological inequality
