    Leveraging TOGAF ADM for Enterprise Architecture in West Seram Environment Agency

    Despite its critical role in environmental governance, the West Seram Environment Agency in Maluku has yet to fully integrate information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) into its operational processes. Recognizing the pivotal role of IS/IT in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness, this study proposes an innovative enterprise architecture planning approach to facilitate IS/IT development within the agency. Employing a qualitative research methodology, the study utilizes The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Architecture Development Method (ADM). This method concentrates on three key domains: business architecture, information systems architecture, and technology architecture. The results of this research offer a suite of IS/IT solutions tailored to the agency's needs. These include the strategic recruitment and development of appropriate work systems, implementation of comprehensive IS/IT work plans, advanced data processing techniques, creation of digital-based applications, and the design and implementation of efficient network topologies. These solutions are poised to revolutionize the agency's operations, significantly enhancing its capacity for environmental management and governance

    Classification of Tomato Ripeness Based on Convolutional Neural Network Methods

    Sorting system for tomato is one of the important things to deploy to achieve better quality of tomato. Nowadays, many sorting system is done manually and this could spend a lot of time and become inefficient. One method can be implemented in the sorting system by using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method to classify the ripeness of tomatoes. The objective of this research is to classify the ripeness of tomatoes based on the color of tomatoes. There are three categories of color level such as green for raw tomato, turning for half-ripe tomato and red for ripe tomato. Research methodology of this research is data collection, data pre-processing and image maintenance, CNN model, and training data. The image used in this research are 1148 images. These images were taken manually using smartphone camera in outdoor environment. These images were used to build CNN model. The results of this research show that by testing 10 images of tomatoes achieved raw tomatoes close to 90%, ripe tomatoes close to 90% and half-ripe tomatoes close to 80%. Based on the results, CNN can be used as a good alternative in image classification tasks

    Design of Additional Safety Locks for Motor Vehicles Using RFID

    Indonesia, facing the dual challenges of rapid economic development and rising vehicle theft rates due to economic inequalities, has prompted a need for innovative security solutions in the automotive sector. This research aims to address this growing concern by introducing a sophisticated motor vehicle security system utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The proposed system employs RFID keys, which use ID tag cards as unique identifiers to activate motor vehicles. The methodology centers around the integration of RFID technology with a microcontroller, creating a security system that is both advanced and user-friendly. This system includes an alarm feature that is triggered when an ID tag card not registered with the vehicle's RFID is used, providing an additional layer of security against unauthorized access. The results of implementing this system have been promising. Testing revealed that the RFID locks, when combined with the microcontroller, effectively recognized authorized ID tag cards and successfully denied access when unauthorized cards were used. The alarm system also functioned as intended, activating when discrepancies in ID tag data were detected. This integration of RFID with a microcontroller not only enhanced the security of motor vehicles but also contributed to a significant reduction in vehicle thefts in the community, showcasing the potential of RFID technology as a viable solution to the prevalent issue of vehicle security in Indonesia

    Implementation of the Least Square Method for The Application of Population Growth Rate Prediction in Air Sugihan District

    Air Sugihan is one of the 18 sub-districts in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province which has 19 villages. After observation, in the annual program policy planning carried out by the Air Sugihan District, almost all development plans need to have an information base for future time estimates, namely predictions of population growth rates. Therefore, this study aims to contribute to the Air Sugihan sub-district by conducting a predictive analysis of the population growth rate with the least square  method and implementing it into an application. The use of the least square method is a suitable method for predicting the rate of population growth. From the results of the analysis of prediction calculations for 2021, the same results were obtained with the details of the birth value of 762 with  MAD errors (77.04) and MAPE (11.78 %), the death value of 460 with  MAD errors (65.41) and MAPE (20.41 %), the Migration-coming value of 637 with  MAD errors (190.67) and MAPE (81.55 %) and the Migration-away value of 877 with errors  MAD (169.99) and MAPE (45.35 %). With the implementation into the application, it facilitates the process of managing population growth rate data in determining the results of predictions or forecasting and conclusions can be drawn from the prediction results for which factors or variables are more specific to affect the rate of population growth in the future

    Education in the industrial era 4.0 experienced very significant changes. The role of information technology is a significant trend in education. Since the pandemic occurred at the beginning of 2020, almost all schools and even universities have indirectly demanded rapid changes in adapting to digitalization methods. It was also found that there were many obstacles during the pandemic in the implementation of information technology. The Indonesian state itself in education is still adapting and starting to develop with the existence of models of information technology approaches that can be implemented in academic activities, especially on campuses. Since 2010 it has been following the smart campus concept and model development. However, it was found to be varied due to the absence of a benchmark index in the campus's preparation, monitoring, and evaluation. Through the Rainbow Framework, this will be a solution in measuring the feasibility level through monitoring and evaluating the use of technology with a quality assurance approach. The results can be seen from the components that have been built using the calculation model for the quality of technology education in Indonesia

    Vulnerability Assessment is one of the crucial stages that must be carried out to define and identify vulnerabilities in web systems so that they can be repaired and reduced. The XYZ institution is new, so the Vulnerability Assessment is to minimize attacks from irresponsible parties. In this study, a Vulnerability Assessment of the IT Support website was carried out on XYZ institution using the Nessus tool. This study used the Vulnerability Assessment Penetration Testing (VAPT) Life Cycle method, which has six stages: scope, planning, scanning & vulnerability Analysis, exploitation, Privilege Escalation, and Generating Report. The results of this study obtained various vulnerabilities ranging from Low to Critical on the IT Support website at XYZ institution so that the IT Support party at XYZ institution to update PHP versions, JQuery and several other preventive steps reviewed in the discussion section

    Tourism Infrastructure Development and Transformation of Vegetation Index in Dodola Island of Morotai Island Regency

    The development of tourism infrastructure without control can cause changes in the environmental vegetation index and harm a tourism destination. This study aims to analyze changes in the vegetation index on Dodola Island from 2013-2021 to develop tourism infrastructure. The approach used is remote sensing, namely the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI) using Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI). NDVI is an index of the greenery or photosynthetic activity of vegetation. Vegetation actively carrying out photosynthesis will absorb most of the red waves of sunlight and reflect higher near-infrared waves. In addition, SAVI is a soil vegetation index adjusted for soil pixels' effect using a vegetation density function. The results of this study indicate a perfect correlation between the NDVI average value and the SAVI average value of 0.996 so that it can be used as data to analyze changes in the vegetation index value on Dodola Island from 2013-2021. The average NDVI value of Dodola Island in 2017 showed a significant decrease to 0.16 from 0.35 in 2016. Likewise, the average SAVI value of Dodola Island in 2017 showed a reduction of 0.12 from 0 .27 in 2016. Although in 2021, the average NDVI value will increase to 0.32 and the average SAVI value to 0.27, stakeholders need to form institutions and establish policies as a preventive measure for the decline in the vegetation index worse than in 2017. Based on the Decree of the State Minister of the Environment No. 201 of 2004 concerning the characteristics of the damage to mangrove forests, the condition of the mangrove area of ​​Dodola Island in 2017 is categorized as damaged and sparse, so that mangrove rehabilitation is necessary. Based on the results of this study, a community-based mangrove ecotourism approach is recommended as an alternative method of sustainable tourism development on Dodola Island

    BPS Semarang Regency is an agency engaged in calculating census statistics, BPS Semarang Regency has implemented SI / IT to support the performance carried out. BPS Semarang Regency has an application in the form of ICS or better known as the Integrated Collection System, where this application is used in calculating population censuses, economic censuses, and agricultural censuses. However, there is always a risk from the application, one of the risk impacts that has occurred such as human error, the server that suddenly goes down becomes an obstacle for users in running the application. With SI/IT risk management conducted to minimize risk, it will be carried out using the ISO31000:2018 framework. It is hoped that this risk management can be used as a guideline for BPS Semarang Regency in dealing with existing risks. The results of this risk analysis are in the form of proposed recommendations from risk actions on risks based on the impact and frequency of events. That way BPS Semarang Regency can prevent and minimize risks so that the function of the ICS application can run optimally

    The Salatiga City Youth and Sports Office is a government agency engaged in Youth, Scouting, and Sports. Information systems and information technology (SI / IT) greatly influence the success of an organization in achieving its goals. Currently, the Salatiga City Youth and Sports Office in implementing SI / IT is still not optimal, therefore this research is about the strategic design of information systems using the ward and peppard method. The ward and peppard method consist of SWOT analysis, Value Chain Analysis, PEST Analysis, McFarlan Analysis, and Five Force Model Analysis. The results of this study are recommendations for a portfolio of information systems, namely the Sports Building Lending Information System, the Activity Report Filing Information System, the Athlete Information System, and the Youth Information System. The information system implementation plan will be carried out within the next 4 years
