    Risk Management Based IT Analysis Using ISO 31000 (Case Study: PT Bawen Mediatama)

    This study examines the risks of implementing information technology (IT) at PT Bawen Mediatama, a company that has experienced damage to financial institution files due to their IT use. The study uses the ISO 31000 framework to analyze the risks faced by PT Bawen Mediatama, with a focus on identifying the risks and providing recommendations for appropriate risk treatment. The research method is qualitative, and the results indicate that PT Bawen Mediatama faces 20 possible risks, including limited, severe, very severe, and catastrophic level risks. Although the company has implemented risk management, the study concludes that it is not optimal

    Web-Based Patient Referral System Design from Clinic to Hospital Using Object Oriented Programming System

    The clinic in Tangerang Regency, Indonesia is a healthcare institution where people seek treatment and medical advice. However, the patient referral system to the hospital in the polyclinic still uses the old method, which involves a letter of introduction from the clinic, a conventional way of documenting the chronology of the patient's illness and using a certificate or cover letter at the clinic. Patient data with problems going to the hospital is not stored in the database, and as a result, patients may have to postpone going to the hospital. The purpose of this study is to determine the current patient referral system from clinics to hospitals and design a web-based patient referral information system that can integrate patient data into the hospital. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze and design the system, employing the Object-Oriented System Design method. The output of this research is software, which is a web-based patient referral information system that displays completed patient data and disease chronology accurately and quickly, supporting digital concepts

    Universities play an essential role in encouraging digital literacy as a form of support to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia. One of the strategic steps to support the acceleration of digital transformation is to carry out organizational change in the academic scope. One of the innovative ideas to facilitate the thesis registration process, selection of supervisors, and thesis consultation is the existence of an integrated and accountable control system. This research proposes an idea to analyze and design the Information System for Thesis Consultation Process known as SIBIMA using the Software Life Cycle Development (SDLC) method according to the Waterfall model. SIBIMA is intended to support services in the education sector by adjusting the context of the values of the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, namely Kristiani, Unggul, Peduli, and Profesional.     Sales Prediction on the Diamond Cell Counter Using Autoregresive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) Method

    Diamond Cell is a specialized retailer that offers a diverse range of smartphone accessories, electronic credits, and internet vouchers from different providers, each with varying active periods. However, the uncertainty surrounding internet voucher sales transactions often leaves counter owners hesitant to increase their stock due to the short active period of the vouchers. This leads to frequent customer dissatisfaction as the internet vouchers run out, resulting in lost sales opportunities. To address this issue, this study aimed to predict voucher sales for the upcoming month to serve as a reference for calculating the stock of voucher supply. The Auto-regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method was used based on voucher sales data from November 2022 to January 2023. Out of the three tentative models obtained, only one proved suitable for use. The best ARIMA model was the (2,1,0) model, with a MAD value of 29.65, an MSE value of 2409.95, and a MAPE value of 23.3%. Based on the February voucher sales, the stock level can remain the same as the previous period since the sales were stable. The findings of this study can help Diamond Cell counter owners make more informed decisions about stocking internet vouchers, resulting in better customer satisfaction and reduced likelihood of losses

    Software Approach to BMI and Obesity Determination using Facial Extraction Techniques

    The focus on COVID-19 pandemic has led doctors to reduce consultation and restrict hospital visitations by patients, a decision that has resulted in the increased cases of obesity coupled with restrictions on movement and exercises. Obesity places the health of people in danger, since it is associated with poor mental health, reduce quality of life, increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke and introduces certain types of cancer. The aim of this study therefore is to design and develop a face-to-BMI mobile application that enable people to learn about their Body Mass Index (BMI), get their obesity status, as well as receive doctor recommendations (or counsel) from the comfort of their homes using their mobile devices. The design science research methodology was used in the design and development of the mobile application for obesity assessment. A mobile phone is required to take the face photo of the users after which the algorithm will perform face detection, looking for all possible facial features such as the width-to-upper facial height ratio (WHR), cheek-to-jaw width (WJWR), perimeter of area ratio (PAR), lower face to face height ratio (FW/FH), mean of eyebrow height (MEH) using facial measurements such as the iris, mouth corners, eyebrows, and nostril.     Capability Level Measurement of Information Systems Using COBIT 5 Framework in Garment Company

    The industrial company specializing in garment products uses information technology called ERP System to support daily activities. The information technology used is close to unavoidable problems. The problems in this company are internet and VPN connections being interrupted/disconnected, computer hardware damage, and user understanding of applicable information technology SOPs. To solve these problems, COBIT 5 was chosen to overcome existing problems by evaluating existing IT governance to produce and measure the level of capability and solution to problems. This research uses three processes, namely APO01, APO12, DSS03, which are obtained from the results of mapping the vision, mission, and problems faced by the company. Data were collected by interviewing resource persons: IT Managers, Accounting and Tax Managers, and the staff concerned. Moreover, they conducted a literature study on COBIT 5 to obtain the value of gap results and capability levels as recommendation guidelines. The result obtained is that the capability level is at level 1. The level gap is 1 level, comparing current conditions with the company's expected conditions. Ten recommendations are given to the company from the results of discussions to improve and develop information technology governance

    The traditional approach to Coffeeshop business requires business owners to manually record orders and purchase transactions, which poses serious challenges to service management in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. To optimize Kopi KurangLebih Coffeeshop needs and increase its appeal to consumers, a relevant management information system is required. Solving business problems requires web-based information systems that facilitate the ordering and purchasing process. In this study, we use design thinking methodology to design a system that meets user needs. Kopi KurangLebih users are buyers, stakeholders, customers, baristas and cashiers. The Kopi KurangLebih website has several advantages, including viewing menus and ratings, food and drink selections, promotions of the day, points redeemable for various user benefits, and other facilities within the cafe. Therefore, Kopi KurangLebih can make information readily available to purchasers and potential purchasers to increase its attractiveness and marketability. The results of this study show that the Coffeeshop management system design supports Coffeeshop management processes more efficiently and effectively compared to traditional business processes. Nonetheless, the role of each actor in performing their respective tasks optimally becomes a determinant of business losses and gains

    Case Study Analysis of the Use of Cloud Computing for Assessing Big Data Risks

    Risks associated with adopting big data and cloud computing and exposing sensitive information must be evaluated as usage of these technologies continues to rise rapidly within businesses. Also, the company needs to investigate the potential consequences of cyber security threats, considering the severity of those risks. There has been no comparative analysis of the risk assessment methods available to businesses in various nations. Thus, the researcher in this study asked forty people from four countries (Canada, Jordan, South Africa (SA), and the United Kingdom (UK)) questions on the risk assessment procedures at their respective organizations using semi-structured interviews. After compiling and analyzing the data, it became clear that Canada and the UK were the frontrunners in adopting big data and cloud computing. It also demonstrated that Jordan and SA are in the early phases of an evolving adoptive relationship. Recommendations are made to strengthen the organization's standing in light of the different risk assessment frameworks used in each country

    The Tangerang Regency Agrotourism represents a community-oriented recreational park designed for tourism. However, the existing information system for Tangerang Regency Agrotourism is non-web-based and lacks integration with modern information technology, leading to suboptimal processing of Agrotourism-related data. This research aims to assess the current system and develop a web-based agro-tourism information system for Tangerang Regency. The primary goal is to fulfill user requirements and aid governmental efforts in presenting park and tourist attraction information through a SWOT analysis-driven approach. The predicament faced by Tangerang Regency Agrotourism revolves around its reliance on non-integrated Microsoft Office applications for data processing, resulting in a lack of computerization. Employing qualitative research methodology, this study employs object-oriented system design techniques alongside the Unified Modeling Language. Consequently, the outcome of this research is the successful creation of a web based Agrotourism information system application tailored for Tangerang Regency's unique needs

    The Design and Development of Parent-Children Vaccination Alert System

    Elevated rates of child mortality in many developing contries can be attributed to a complex interplay of poverty, malnutrition, and a host of preventable and non-preventable diseases. While vaccines for many of these diseases have been widely disseminated in developed countries through efforts from organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, adherence to vaccination schedules remains suboptimal in less affluent nations. This shortfall is largely due to the challenges parents and guardians face in scheduling and maintaining vaccine appointments for their children. To address this gap, our study employed the Design Science Research Process (DSRP) model to develop an integrated booking and SMS reminder system aimed at simplifying the immunization process. The application was engineered using Object-Oriented Agile methodologies and incorporates a prototype for client testing and early-stage implementation. As immunization stands as a cornerstone for managing vaccine-preventable diseases, this system offers a crucial solution to enhance child healthcare. It not only aids in reducing mortality rates but also simplifies the documentation and archival of vaccination records, thereby improving their accessibility. This system introduces an innovative approach that allows parents to book their child’s vaccination appointments online, thereby eliminating the need for physical presence at healthcare facilities. The implementation of this system is expected to alleviate congestion in clinics and hospitals, streamlining the vaccination process and potentially improving overall public health
