Aile Arabuluculuğu Bağlamında Aile İşletmeleri Uyuşmazlıklarında Arabuluculuk
Dünya ve bulundukları ülke ekonomilerindeki büyük paya sahip oldukları bilinen aile işletmelerinin, sürdürülebilir başarıya sahip olmaları önemlidir. Temelinde aile olan bu işletmeler, Türk Ticaret Kanunundaki şirketlerden farklı bir yapılanmaya ve yönetim anlayışına sahiptirler. Aile üyeleri arasındaki güçlü bağlar, aile işletmesinin başarısında etkili olurken uyuşmazlıklar, zarara uğratabilir. Bu nedenle kurumsal yönetim anlayışı, aile işletmelerinde kurumsallaşmanın gereğidir. Bu noktada uyuşmazlıkların sistemsel yöntemlerle, işletme ya da aile üyelerine zarar vermeden barışçıl yolla çözümlenmesi önerilir. Nitekim ülkemizde, ilk uygulandığı günden bu yana arabuluculuk, alternatif uyuşmazlık çözüm yöntemlerinden biri olarak kullanılmaktadır. Yakın gelecekte aile uyuşmazlıkları için de uygulanması beklenen aile arabuluculuğu modelleri, aile işletmesi uyuşmazlıklarının çözümünde de kullanılabilecektir. Aile işletmelerinde, kendine özgü çatışma türleri ve çatışma yönetim stratejileri vardır. Bunlardan biri de aile anayasasının düzenlemesidir. Aile anayasası, aile işletmesinin ve aile üyelerinin kendi aralarında ve birbirleriyle ilişkilerini düzenler. Aynı zamanda şirketin verimliliğini artırmak üzere çözümler içerir. Aile işletmesinin organlarından biri olan aile konseyi, aile anayasası ile uyuşmazlıkların çözümü konusunda arabulucu olarak görevlendirilebilir. Bu açıdan aile konseyi ile arabuluculuk arasındaki farklı ve benzer yanlar da bu tezde ele alınmıştır. Bir yandan dış dünyadan kaynaklı anlaşmazlıklar yaşayan aile işletmelerinin güncelliği ve yeni nesille entegrasyonu da önemsenmelidir. Zamanın ihtiyaçlarına uygun şekilde teknolojik gelişmelerden faydalanmaları tavsiye edilir.It is important that family companies, which are known to have a large share in the economies of the world and the countries in which they are located, have sustainable success. These companies, which are based on family, have a different structure and management approach than companies in the Turkish Commercial Code. While strong ties between family members are effective in the success of the family business, conflicts can cause losses. Therefore, corporate governance is a necessity for institutionalization in family companies. At this point, it is recommended to resolve disputes peacefully with systemic methods without harming the business or family members. As a matter of fact, mediation has been used as one of the alternative dispute resolution methods in our country since its first implementation. Family mediation models, which are expected to be applied for family disputes in the near future, can also be used in the resolution of family business disputes. In family companies, there are specific conflict types and conflict management strategies. One of these is the regulation of the family constitution. The family constitution regulates the relations of the family business and family members among themselves and with each other. It also contains solutions to increase the efficiency of the company. The family council, one of the organs of the family business, can be assigned as a mediator in resolving disputes with the family constitution. In this respect, the differences and similarities between the family council and mediation are discussed in this thesis. On the one hand, the timeliness and integration with the new generation of family companies that experience conflicts arising from the outside world should also be taken into consideration. It is recommended that they benefit from technological developments in accordance with the needs of the time
Examining the Application of Strategic Management and Artificial Intelligence, With a Focus on Artificial Neural Network Modeling To Enhance Human Resource Optimization With Advertising and Brand Campaigns
This study employed artificial intelligence with machine learning method and used an artificial neural network to estimate waste management, travel expenses, and paper consumption by manipulating varying water and energy costs, as well as the number of employees. The results show that increased costs and employee numbers have an impact on waste management and travel expenses, while paper consumption remained consistent. Research and analysis show that viral advertising outperforms traditional advertising in terms of brand awareness, attitudes, engagement, and purchase intent. Linear regression analysis confirmed the accuracy of the network's predictions. Recognizing that every organization is part of a larger system, cooperation within this system occurs when subsystems interact with environmental issues. Hence, it becomes possible not only to make organizations environmentally conscious but also to foster environmental consciousness in each employee, underlining the significance of individual and collective contributions to environmental sustainability. Within the context of social care, this study aims to explore the role of strategic management and artificial intelligence in optimizing human resources management to address environmental concerns. By examining the intersection of these fields, this study endeavors to provide insights into how organizations can leverage technology and strategic planning to cultivate sustainable human resource management practices in the realm of social care.Science Citation Index Expande
How Does Anxiety Disorder Diagnosis Affect Emotion Recognition, Empathy and Social Responsiveness in Adolescence
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the association between the existence of an anxiety disorder (AD) diagnosis in ado- lescents and social cognition skills such as emotion recognition, empathy and social responsiveness and to compare the results with healthy control group (CG). The second aim of study was to compare the factors affecting social cog- nition skills in adolescents with ADs with CG. Method: Psychiatric assessments and diagnoses were evaluated by clinical interview based on DSM-5 and Kiddie- schedule for affective disorders and schizophrenia-present and lifetime version-Turkish Adaptation (K-SADS-PL-T). Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) and Diagnostic Analysis of Nonverbal Accuracy (DANVA) was applied to the participants. Sociodemographic form, Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS), Griffith Empathy Measure (GEM), Strengths and Diffuculties Questionnaire (SDQ), KA-SI Empathic Tendency Scale (KA-SI ETS) were used. Results: 87 admissions in total were examined for our study. 58 (66.6 %) of the admissions were cases with AD and 29 (33.3%) were the control group. AD group consisted of 34 female adolescents (58.6 %), whereas control group consisted of 17 female adolescents (58.6 %). The average age was 14.06±2.12 (years) and 13.51±2.23 (years), respec- tively. The adolescents with AD had significantly higher social responsiveness problem scores than the CG after adjust- ing hyperactivity levels but no difference was found between the two groups in terms of empathy level and emotion recognition. Discussion: There has been a impairment in social responsiveness in the presence of the AD. It was found that this impairment occurs when anxiety disorder is accompanied by both hyperactivity and low cognitive empathy.Emerging Sources Citation Inde
Evaluation of Colour Stability, Water Sorption and Solubility of No-Cap Flowable Bulk Fill Resin Composites
Kutuk Omeroglu, Merve/0000-0002-0253-4212Background: The aim of this study is to investigate the colour stability, water absorption, and solubility values of low viscosity bulk fill resin composites that do not require an additional layer in comparison with high viscosity and low viscosity bulk fill resin composites used as a base. Methods: In the present study, four different bulk fill resin composites were used: Charisma Bulk Flow One (Kulzer), Estelite Bulk Fill Flowable (Tokuyama), X-tra Base (VOCO), Filtek One Bulk Fill (3M ESPE). The resin composites were prepared as disc-shaped samples with a diameter of 5 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, then polymerized using a LED light device (Elipar DeepCureS, 3M ESPE). The samples were kept in artificial saliva and coffee solution for 28 days to determine water absorption, solubility levels and triangle E values, with measurements taken on days 7, 14, 21 and 28. Water absorption and solubility levels were calculated based on ISO4049:2009 specification, and mean colour change values were calculated based on CIEDE2000 formula. Repeated Measures ANOVA, along with post hoc Bonferroni, Tamhane, and Adjusted Bonferroni tests, were used for the statistical evaluation of the data (p < 0.05). Results: Among all composite groups at all time intervals, Charisma Bulk Flow One composite showed the highest water absorption, solubility, and discolouration values. Conclusion: The water absorption, solubility and discolouration values of the resin composites used in this study were affected by the amount of filler in the resin structure. Modeling the Effects of Pressure and Magnetic Field on the Phase Change of Sodium Sulfate/Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate in Nanochannels
This work examines the impact of different pressure levels (1 to 5 bar) and magnetic field frequencies (0.01 to 0.05 ps⁻¹) on the thermal behavior of sodium sulfate/magnesium chloride hexahydrate as a phase change material inside iron nanochannels, using molecular dynamics simulation. The system's kinetic and potential energies converge to 39.79 eV and -7204.99 eV, indicating the stability of the nanostructures. The impact of pressure and magnetic field frequency on heat flow, maximum temperature, and charge/discharge times was examined. Increasing the pressure from 1 to 5 bar reduced the heat flux and maximum temperature to 1509 W/m² and 391.18 K, respectively. Simultaneously, the charge duration extendes to 3.99 ns, whilst the discharge duration decreases to 4.30 ns. Moreover, increasing the magnetic field frequency from 0.01 to 0.05 ps⁻¹ results in a decrease in maximum temperature and heat flux, which fell to 415.67 K and 1566 W/m², respectively. The charge time decreases to 3.87 ns and the discharge time to 4.50 ns little owing to the increase in frequency. © 2025 The Author(s
Evaluation of Disease Severity, Respiratory Muscle Strength, Respiratory Functions, Functionality, and Quality of Life in Patients With Upper Limb Lymphedema

The aim of this study is to assess disease severity, respiratory muscle strength, respiratory functions, pectoralis minor muscle shortening, functionality, and quality of life(QoL) in patients with upper limb lymphedema (ULL), and to compare these findings with healthy controls. Methods The disease severity was assessed using the Stillwell classification system; respiratory muscle strength was measured through maximum inspiratory and expiratory intraoral pressures (MIP, MEP, respectively); respiratory functions were evaluated with a spirometer; muscle length of pectoralis minor (PM) was measured with a tape measure; functionality was assessed using the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH); and QoL was evaluated with the Lymphedema Quality of Life Questionnaire - Arm (LYMQOL-Arm). The participants were divided into 2 groups, patients with ULL in Group 1; the healthy individuals were included in Group 2. Results The group 1 had lower values for MIP, MEP, FEV1, FVC, FEF25, FEF75, PEF, muscle length of PM, and DASH scores compared to group 2(p:0.018, p:0.010, P < .001, P < .001, p:0.001, p:0.043, P < .001, P < .001, P < .001, respectively). A negative correlation was found between disease severity and MIP, MEP, FEV1, FVC, and muscle length of PM (r:-0.598, r:-0.451, r:-0.458, r:-0.347, r:-0.498 (fair to good) respectively, P < .05). A positive correlation was observed between disease severity and LYMQOL-Arm (r:0.496 (good), P < .05). Multi-Objective Optimization of Buckling Load and Natural Frequency in Functionally Graded Porous Nanobeams Using Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-Ii
This study investigates the fundamental natural frequency and critical buckling load of Functionally Graded Porous nanobeams supported by an elastic medium, addressing the need for optimized designs in advanced nanostructures. Utilizing a Genetic Algorithm and Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II, the research aims to identify the Pareto front for these two objectives while incorporating surface effects. The nanobeam is modeled using Nonlocal Strain Gradient Theory and Gurtin-Murdoch surface elasticity theory, with governing equations solved via the Generalized Differential Quadrature Method based on Reddy's Third-order Shear Deformation Theory. Key input parameters, including temperature gradient, residual surface stress, porosity, and elastic foundation properties, are varied to train two Artificial Neural Networks for output prediction. Results indicate that for the fundamental frequency, significant factors include the material length scale and the Pasternak shear foundation parameter, while the critical buckling load is mainly influenced by the temperature gradient and the same material parameters. These findings provide critical insights for designers, allowing them to make informed decisions based on optimal values for eight input parameters.Science Citation Index Expande
Cosmetological Potential of the Essential Oil From the Aerial Parts of Rubus Sanctus Schreb. : Enzymatic Inhibition, Antibacterial Properties, and Chemical Composition
Recently, skin care products and cosmetic preparations with herbal ingredients have attracted considerable interest from the public. Therefore, the cosmetic industry is investigating natural products like essential oils and extracts. This study aimed to determine the anti-aging effects of the essential oil obtained from the aerial parts of Rubus sanctus Schreb. (RsEO), as well as to reveal its chemical composition and investigate its antibacterial activity. The chemical composition of RsEO was determined by using GC-MS. The anti-aging activity of RsEO was evaluated by in vitro studies of anti-collagenase, anti-elastase, anti-tyrosinase, and anti-hyaluronidase activities. The antibacterial potential of RsEO was investigated by the agar-well diffusion method against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Escherichia coli. RsEO showed significant inhibition against collagenase, elastase, hyaluronidase, and tyrosinase with IC50 values of 80.46, 77.85, 72.71, and 82.71 mu g/mL, respectively, and when compared with the positive controls epigallocatechin gallate (IC50: 38.91 mu g/mL for collagenase, IC50: 38.91 mu g/mL for elastase), tannic acid (IC50: 26.95 mu g/mL for hyaluronidase), and kojic acid (IC50: 28.74 mu g/mL for tyrosinase), the activities were found to be close. It was determined that the major components of RsEO were pentadecanal (8.88%), dodecanoic acid (7.86%), nonanal (4.32%), and octadecanal (4.08%). RsEO showed moderate antibacterial activity (inhibition zones between 10 and 15 mm) against the tested bacteria compared to ampicillin. This study demonstrated that RsEO is a natural product that has the potential to serve as a promising anti-aging and antibacterial therapeutic agent due to the synergistic effect of its constituent components.Science Citation Index Expande
Modayı Moda Olanla Sorgulamak: Moda Endüstrisini Sorgulayan Sanat Yapıtlarının Analizi
Son yıllarda tartışma konusu olan, moda endüstrisinin ilişkilendirildiği kaynakların tahribatı, çevre kirliliği, işçi hakları ihlalleri, beden, yaş, cinsiyet temelli ayrımcılık gibi sorunlar moda endüstrisi için sistematik değişim çağrısını kaçınılmaz kılmıştır. Bu çalışma, endüstrinin gerekli değişimi için toplumsal düzeyde farkındalık ve tüketici toplum yapısında dönüşüm yaratmada, sanatın rolünü tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Değişim için üzerinde durulması gereken sorunlara dair net bir görüş oluşturmak için çalışma, moda sisteminin tarihsel araştırması ile başlayarak, modanın hayat döngüsünün farklı evrelerinde karşılaşılabilecek sorunlar, literatür taramalarından elde edilen nitel veriler ve örnek olay incelemeleriyle tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen sorunlardan üretim ve tüketim artışı, çevre sorunu, beden ve kadın algısı ve endüstrinin emek kavramıyla ilişkisine odaklanılarak, bu konular üzerine başlıkta moda olan şeklinde nitelendirilen moda malzemeleri kullanılarak eleştiri geliştiren sanatsal üretimler yoruma dayalı görsel analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bu incelemede, moda endüstrisine ve tüketime hizmet eden malzemelerin endüstrinin ve tüketimin tekelinden çıkarılarak, sanat yoluyla kendi endüstrisini eleştirebilmesinin ve değiştirebilmesinin olanakları ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, incelenen sanatsal üretimlerin iletişim ve empati kurma, duyguları harekete geçirme, sorunlar üzerine düşündürme özelliklerinin endüstriye ilişkin sorunlara dikkat çekmekte, farkındalık yaratmakta ve moda endüstrisini değişime yönlendirebilecek toplumsal baskının oluşturulmasında rol oynayabileceği ortaya koyulmuştur
A Critical Point Approach To Non-Local Complex Systems of Fractional Discrete Equations
Discrete fractional equations have emerged across various fields such as science, engineering, economics, and finance to better capture the characteristics of non-local complex systems. In this discussion, we explore the existence of at least three unique solutions for discrete fractional boundary value problems featuring a p-Laplacian operator, provided suitable hypotheses on nonlinear terms are met. Our approach primarily relies on variational methods and critical points theorems.
