Une intervention de littératie physique de longue durée pour améliorer les indicateurs de santé et les niveaux d'activité physique chez les adolescents en surpoids et obèses
International audienceBackground The aim of this study was to present the effects of a long-duration Physical Literacy intervention on the healthof overweight and obese adolescents.Methods CAPACITES 64 was a quasi-experimental study of 14 overweight and obese adolescents. The intervention wasconducted for 15 months, with two measurement times.Results The intervention significantly increased the overall Physical Literacy score (Δ = + 7.6 points; p < 0.05). The%Skeletal Muscle Mass (Δ = + 3.5%; p < 0.05) and the VO2peak(Δ = + 3.4 ml.min.kg−1; p < 0.05) increase significantly,also. Decreases in Z-score Body Mass Index (Δ = -0.5; p < 0.05) and %Body Fat (Δ = -6.1; p < 0.05) were observed. Nosignificant effect on Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity is identified (Δ = -0.2 min.day−1; p = 0.09).Conclusions This study revealed that a long-duration Physical Literacy intervention had a positive effect on health indicatorsand prevented a decrease in the level of physical activity in overweight and obese adolescents

Recent advancements on the effect of bio-stabilisation on the mechanical and hygrothermal properties of earthen building materials
International audienceRaw earth is a viable alternative to traditional energy intensive building materials like concrete and fired clayey materials. It can be locally sourced and serves as an excellent hygrothermal buffer, regulating indoor temperature and relative humidity. Unlike mainstream building materials, earth is also fully recyclable at the end of its life cycle. However, stabilisationthe addition of supplementary material to enhance mixture stabilityis often required to enhance the durability of earthen building products and their resistance to liquid water erosion, typically increasing their environmental impact. To mitigate this impact, various bio-based stabilisation methods have recently been explored by the scientific community. These involve the addition of biopolymers, bio-fibres or the triggering of bio-mineralisation processes. Still, the effects of these novel bio-stabilisation methods on the mechanical and hygrothermal behaviour of earthen building composites/products require further investigation. This paper provides an overview of existing experimental methods for measuring the mechanical, hygroscopic and thermal properties of biostabilised earthen composites and products, along with key findings from the literature. Insights from this review can help guide future research on biostabilised earthen product

Recherche sur un projet relatif à l'accompagnement des usagers dans leur parcours en addictologie
International audienceLa question de la participation est au cœur des obligations réglementaires dans les secteurs sanitaire et social, notamment depuis la loi n°2002-303 du 4 mars 2002 , relative aux droits des malades et à la qualité du système de santé. Cette loi, rénovant l’action sociale et médico-sociale, élargit les droits individuels et collectifs des usagers, reconnaissant ainsi la complémentarité de l’expertise de ces derniers avec celle des professionnels. Pourtant en 2024, malgré les encouragements des tutelles, force est de constater que les résultats ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Le sujet de la participation des usagers dans leurs parcours apparaît complexe. Á propos de participation, il s’agira dans un premier temps de définir de qui parlons-nous ? et de quoi ?Puis nous nous interrogerons sur l’objet de la participation : pour quoi faire ?Enfin, nous explorerons les conditions qui permettent que la participation définie soit effective.C’est au travers d’un travail de recherche-action dans le cadre d’un Centre de Soin d’Accompagnement et de Prévention des Addictions que nous éprouverons ces questionnements. Pour ce faire, nous laisserons la part belle aux démarches qualitatives.Il s’agira pour nous de vérifier que la démarche participative permet de: développer l’empowerment des usagers afin qu’ils deviennent pleinement acteurs de leurs parcours d’accompagnement ;développer des compétences qui permettent aux usagers d’améliorer leur qualité de vie ;réduire les risques psycho sociaux des professionnels quant à l’intégration de nouveaux acteurs dans de nouvelles organisations de travail ;développer des actions innovantes pour les parcours d’accompagnement en addictologie
Ethylene sulfite and vinylene carbonate additives in acetonitrile-containing electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries: SEI impedance and XPS investigation
International audienceElectrolyte solvents play a crucial role in extending the operating temperature range of Li-ion batteries. This article emphasizes the importance of precise adjustment of the amount of vinylene carbonate (VC) additive when incorporated with ethylene sulfite (ES) into a 20 vol% acetonitrile-containing carbonate electrolyte, with the aim to achieve enhanced LiNi0.5Mn0.3Co0.2O2/graphite pouch cell power performance at −5 °C. After determining the intrinsic characteristics of the electrolyte, including its ionic conductivity, viscosity, and lithium cation solvation shell using Raman spectroscopy analysis, the Li+ cation transport properties within the SEI are meticulously examined through the study of the distribution of relaxation times (DRT) extracted from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) spectra and its composition elucidated by infrared (IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). This study reveals significant information about the reduction reaction mechanisms leading to varying amounts of ES, VC, lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiFSI), acetonitrile and carbonate reduction compounds in the SEI, some of which are suspected to be the main compounds responsible for the observed differences in power performance
Artistic Reconfigurations of Eco-Frontiers: Definitions, Categories, and Issues
International audienceAn alternative tool for supporting and guiding the progress of eco-frontiers in a western(ized) world isthe co-creation of specific artistic projects. At the very least, these artistic projects aim to raise awareness,mediate and publicize environmental struggles, the staging of landscapes and the scientific andmanagement systems for nature conservation inherent in eco-frontiers. These artistic interventions arepart of a process of art-making, a concept that will be translated into English as ‘Territorial Art Creation’(TAC). TAC collectively intervenes in the eco-frontier configuration according to six different specificlogics: figuration of nature by TAC; TAC’s configuration of the eco-frontier by promoting the protection oflandscapes; TAC’s reconfiguration of the eco-frontier, leading to a revival of the issues of protection andenhancement of nature; TAC’s artistic prefiguration of a new eco-frontier; TAC as a vector of territorialdisfiguration; and TAC’s elusive transfiguration of the eco-frontier
