TCM in post stroke brain remodeling: Research advances
Brain functional remodeling is fundamental to the recovery from stroke and is one of the hot topics in modern brain science research, involving various factors such as neurophysiology, neurochemistry, and neuroimaging. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with its multi-target and multi-stage effects on the body, has unique advantages in improving neurological functions and promoting brain functional remodeling. Current research mainly focuses on monotherapy with Chinese herbs, compound prescriptions, and acupuncture, among other aspects. This paper summarizes their effects and related mechanisms, aiming to provide theoretical support for the clinical application of TCM in promoting brain function recovery after stroke
Research on the modification technology of beta molecular sieve
The influence of temperature and time of the acid washing and hydrothermal treatment on Beta zeolite properties was examined in detail, the results revealed that acid washing at 2h and 80℃and 2h hydrothermal treatment at 650℃are the best modification operating conditions. The different SiO2/Al2O3ratio of Beta zeolite are systematically modified using optimized modification operating conditions. Beta zeolite modified from higher SiO2/Al2O3ratio of the starting Beta also has higher SiO2/Al2O3 ratio. Crystallinity of starting Beta zeolite has less effect on the modified Beta zeolite. As the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of starting Beta increased, total acid amount of modified Beta decreased. When the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of starting Beta is bigger, the surface area and pore volume is higher
The catalysts for synthesis of citrate esters plasticizers and the application of citrate esters plasticizers
The latest research progress in citrate esters plasticizers at home and abroad was introduced. The advance in the catalysts for the syn thesis of citrate esters plasticizers and the application of citrate esters plasticizers were reviewed in detail. The catalysts for the synthesis of citrate esters included sulfonic acid, solid super acid, heteropolyacids, ionic liquids and inorganic salts. The citric acid ester plasticizers were applied in the fields of food packaging, children\u27s toys and medical instrument. The development prospects of citric acid ester plasticizers were outlined
Does true randomness exist in the universe?
This article explores the existence of true randomness in the universe, challenging traditional mechanistic and deterministic viewpoints. The article begins by demonstrating the random waviness of electrons without external forces through the double-slit experiment in quantum mechanics, as well as the random distribution when individual electrons are imaged on a screen. It then discusses the theory of hidden variables, which suggests that there are undiscovered variables that could explain the deterministic motion of particles. However, experimental results from Bell\u27s inequality have refuted this theory, proving the correctness of quantum mechanics. The article also mentions nonlinear systems in the macro world, such as the three-body problem in chaos theory, illustrating the uncertainty in the macro world. Finally, the article further explains the counterintuitive and random behavior of particles in quantum mechanics through anti-reflective film and delayed-choice experiments, emphasizing that randomness is ubiquitous even in the macro world. The article concludes that although the universe is full of randomness, this does not mean it is unknowable; humans can still understand and control these random phenomena through probability theory
Editing standards for titles of figures and tables in scientific papers with examples
Titles of figures and tables in scientific papers are characterized by self-evidence and conciseness. Based on the standards for editing and processing titles of figures and tables, this paper categorizes common issues with titles that do not meet the standards in scientific papers and selects typical examples. It points out problems such as missing modifiers and redundant references in the titles of figures and tables, and provides the correct forms of expression for them
Data mining on uncertain data based on frequent probability
Uncertain data exists in many applications, such as sensor monitoring systems, location-based services, and biological databases. To handle a large amount of uncertain information, probabilistic databases have been proposed. The main research involves interpreting probabilistic databases using possible world semantics and discovering frequent patterns within probabilistic databases. Since the possible worlds in probabilistic databases grow exponentially, this mining process is a technical challenge
Electrochemical immunosensors for 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid based on 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane modified electrodes
oai:www.cambridgepublish.com:article/1A novel electrochemical immunosensor prepared by direct coating of small molecular hapten on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is reported for the detection of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). The glassy carbon electrodes were activated by electrochemical method and then were further treated with 3-aminoprpyltriethoxysilane (APS) to functionalize the GCE surface with amino groups for covalent linkage to small molecular hapten of 2,4-D with carboxyl groups. The electrodes were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The principle of this immunoassay is based on an indirect competitive immunoassay. Analytes of 2,4-D and hapten of 2,4-D immobilized on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) compete for 2,4-D antibodies labeled by horseradish peroxidase (HRP-anti-2,4-D). After complete immunoreaction, the GCE attached HRP-anti-2,4-D tracers was transferred to a substrate solution containing hydroquinone (QH2) and hydrogen peroxide for square wave voltammetry (SWV) detection. Determination conditions were optimized. The SWV anodic peak current decreased linearly with the increase of 2,4-D concentration over the range from 0.10 to 15.0 mg/L 2,4-D with a detection limit of 0.01mg/L. The performance of this electrochemical immunoassay was successfully evaluated with river water spiked with 2,4-D, indicating that this convenient, rapid, and sensitive technique offers great prospect for the monitoring of trace 2,4-D in environment
Studies on activity and oxide shell thickness of micron-sized Mg-Al alloy powder
The empirical formula of average oxide thickness of atomized micron-sized aluminum - magnesium alloy powder was proposed. At the same time, the influence of particle size and the ratio of magnesium on samples’ activity was studied. The phase composition, morphology, and oxidation process of the alloy powders were studied by x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope/energy-dispersive x-ray, respectively. Study on the change of powder activity was achieved by standard gas volumn method. The results show that the oxide thickness of the atomized micron-sized aluminum - magnesium alloy powder is positively correlated with the particle size, and the activity decreases with the increase of the particle size and the magnesium content
Study on Photocatalytic Properties of TiO2 with Special Morphology by Using Natural Template
The TiO₂ photocatalysts with special morphology were synthesized in this paper. The authors used malus micro malus leaves and in docalamus leaves as template, and tetrabutyl titanate (TBT)as Ti source. The special shaped TiO₂ photocatalysts have high photocatalytic activity because of its unique morphology and s tructure. The structure and morphology of TiO₂ were characlerized by XRD and SEM, respectively. The photocatalytic activities were examined by the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) under ultraviolet light (λ=365nm) iradiation. The results indicated that the TiO2 photocatalyst, using indocalamus leaves as templates, exhibited better adsorption and photocatalytic performance in degrading MB than using malus micro malus leaves, when the amount of nitric acid was 20 mL and following heat treatment at 600 ℃
