The critical research of the individual lament and thanksgiving psalms of the Hebrew Bible has always paid special attention to the netherworld concepts appearing in the texts. These sources often use the spatial image of the netherworld in connection with the misery experienced by the praying one. From these references it is clear that in the Hebrew Bible the netherworld (Sheol) should be considered as a place, and in most of the texts it does not have personal aspects. Even though this statement is true, we cannot read detailed descriptions of the netherworld in the Psalms (or in the Hebrew Bible in general), and this does not really help us drawing a map of the netherworld based on these sporadic references. The present study deals with two issues in detail. First, in connection with the problem of the localization of the netherworld is the compatibility of the cosmological references which point to different directions (the netherworld is under the surface of the earth; the netherworld is under the waters of the depth) is a crucial question. Second, it is an essential point to examine, which parts of the netherworld appear in the sources, and if one can attempt to determine their location and relationship more precisely. The identification of the inner parts of the netherworld as they appear in the Hebrew Bible is particularly difficult
because in the sources we come across descriptions of the general milieu of the place rather than naming specific parts of it. Therefore, the second part of the present study investigates several phrases (1. the gates of the therworld, 2. the inner parts of the netherworld, 3. the foundation of the mountains) that might be considered as specific parts of the netherworld in the sources
Poetic Images, Presence, and the Theater of Kenotic Rituals
Get PDFThis book explores the interrelation of contemporary French theatre and poetry.
Using the pictorial turn in the various branches of art and science, its observable features, and the theoretical framework of the conceptual metaphor, this study seeks to gather together the divergent manners in which French poetry and theatre address this turn. Poetry in space and theatricality of poetry are studied alongside theatre, especially to the performative aspect of the originally theological concept of "kenosis". In doing so the author attempts to make use of the theological concept of kenosis, of central importance in Novarina’s oeuvre, for theatrical and dramatological purposes. Within poetic rituals, kenotic rituals are also examined in the book in a few theatrical practices – János Pilinszky and Robert Wilson, Jerzy Grotowski and Eugenio Barba – facilitating a better understanding of Novarina’s works.
Accompanied by new English translations in the appendices, this is the first English language monograph related to the French essayist, dramaturg and director Valère Novarina’s theatre, and will be of great interest to students and scholars in theatre and literature studies. (www.taylorfrancis.com

No full textTHE RELATIONSHIPS OF THE MINIMUM LENGTH, ERROR, EVALUATION LEVELS AND NUMBER OF RESPONDENTS OF ADAPTIVE TESTS WITH GENERAL SOLUTION PROBABILITY Judit Karász T., Szabolcs Takács Correlations between the minimum length, error, evaluation level and number of solvers of adaptive tests - with overall solution rate Our article basically aims to create a general formalism that can be used to address one of the problems of digitization of paper-and-pencil-based tests. The developed formalism was constructed in a general way, but the results are also described in a practical example. In our article, we present the limitations and benefits of a future adaptive version of a survey based essentially on a paper-and-pencil test, such as the OECD PISA [8] and the National Assesment of Basic Competencies [9]. In the case of international measurements, the development work that has prepared this direction has already begun, and the recent online educational experience has paved the way for the transition to digital and then adaptive measurement in the case of the National Assesment of Basic Competencies. The necessary item-level logistics (task bank, modeling environment) are basically available. However, the literature generally covers these technical details - as well as how many people are needed for reliability. In our article, we were not interested in this question, because the itembank will be of sufficient size, or typically in a national measurement, the sufficient filling will be given by default. In contrast, the most important question for us is to what extent the test can be shortened to a test that is the same - or better, more reliable than the current one. So we are not interested in the number of respondents, but in the length of the test, we performed simulation calculations based on the commonly published indicators of the current [8], [9] measurements

Tanulmányom rövid történeti ismertetőjéből kitűnik, hogy az 1900-as években, rövid idő alatt rengeteget változott a gyermekekkel való bánásmód, melynek során kicsinyített felnőttekből, a szülők tulajdonából, önálló jogokkal rendelkező, védelmet érdemlő individumokká váltak. A gyermekeket megillető jogokat számos hazai és nemzetközi dokumentum garantálja, ezeket igyekeztem összegyűjteni. A gyermekek számára a legnagyobb terhet a szülők kapcsolatának felbomlása jelenti, különösen fontos tehát ebben a folyamatban, hogy a szülők és az eljáró hatóságok figyelembe vegyék a gyermek jogait, döntéseik meghozatala során a gyermek legfőbb érdekét tartsák szem előtt és megóvják őt a testi és lelki károsodástól.
Ellen Key was right when, in 1902, predicted that the XX. century would be the century of the child. From the brief historical description of my study, it can be seen, that the treatment of children changed a lot in the 1900s, they turned from small adults owned by their parents to individuals with independent rights, who deserve protection. The rights of children are guaranteed by many national and international documents, which I tried to collect. The greatest burden for children is the dissolution of the parent's relationship, so it is particularly important in this process that parents and the authorities take into account the child's rights, focus on the child's best interests in their decisions and in any case protect them from physical and mental harm

Több szerző foglalkozik a jogi szaknyelv jellemzőivel, valamint a nyelveken, kultúrákon és jogi intézményi rendszereken átívelő interlingvális jogi fordítás legfontosabb problémáival. Ugyanakkor a gépi fordítás az elmúlt pár évben megfigyelhető robbanásszerű fejlődése és az annak nyomán kialakult új és egyre nagyobb jelentőséggel bíró utószerkesztés (poszteditálás) újabb kihívások elé állítja a fordítástudományt és a gyakorló fordítókat. Ha egyre több szöveg és azok fordítása válik elektronikus formában szinte mindenki számára könnyen elérhetővé, az milyen új feladatok és elvárások elé állítja a fordítókat és utószerkesztőket (poszteditorokat)? Hogyan alakul át a fordítói minőségi sztenderd fogalma? Hogyan definiálhatjuk az ideális (jogi) szaknyelvi fordítást, mely mind a gépi, mind a humán fordítás minőségi szintje lehet
