    Background: Problems Patient waiting time at Registration and polyclinic at outpatient installation RSU Permata Bunda medan is far from the standard set by the government which is 60 minutes. This factor can be affected by the service on the registration and the Medical Record is also on the service section of the outpatient polyclinic. Therefore it is necessary to do research on the factors that affect the waiting time at Rumah Sakit Permata Bunda Medan. Method: This research is a research using qualitative research method with interpretive paradigm. Results: The results of this study obtained data that factors that affect the waiting time health services due to delay the arrival of the doctor and impatience of the patient itself. In terms of registration The incompleteness of the file especially for BPJS patients is a major factor. Coupled with the file storage space which is very far from the registration room adds to the factor of delay in getting the patient's health service. The lack of human resources in the registration section also affects the waiting time in the registration section Conclusion: Which greatly affect the waiting time of medical record service that is taking the medical record and storage, plus the incompleteness of file brought by patient. At the service in polyclinic, doctor's delay is the main factor of waiting time in the outpatient at Rumah Sakit Permata Bunda Medan. Suggestion: It is necessary to optimize Hospital Information System as well as transfer of medical record file storage space and training for medical recorder officers to do their job optimally plus hospital makes a policy to divide poly schedules into two parts to avoid patient waiting quene time

    The increasing rate of population growth shows that there will be a population explosion. Programs carried out by the government to reduce the rate of population growth can be done with the Family Planning movement. According to data from the IDHS in 2017 the prevalence of contraceptive use in Indonesia 63.6% of contraceptives that are widely used are injection methods (16.1%), pills (7.7%), IUDs (2.3%), implants (6, 5%), female operating method (MOW) (8.5%), male operating method (MOP) (0.3%). The government is trying to increase the use of long-term contraception, but in fact the use of non-long-term contraception is more than the use of long-term contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health counseling on family planning acceptors on the selection of IUD contraception devices in the Mardina clinic in Medan in 2018. This type of research is Pre-Experiment with Design One Group Pre-test Post test. The population in this study were 220 people and a sample of 44 people. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T-test test. The results showed that the results of statistical tests using Paired Sample T-test test, obtained the calculation results p value = 0.003 <α = 0.005, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. There is an effect of health counseling on family planning acceptors on the selection of IUD contraceptives at the Medan City Mardina Clinic in 2017. Suggestions for local health workers for counseling about contraceptives, especially IUDs, are comprehensive and continuous KB acceptors at the Mardina Clinic and in collaboration with the Seiagul Health Center

    North Sumatra has the lowest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, which is 33%. One regency/city with an achievement of <10% is Tanjungbalai at 8.58%. Childbirth history is one of the causes of the low coverage of exclusive breastfeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of labor history with exclusive breastfeeding at Dr Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai Hospital in 2018. This research uses analytical survey method with cross sectional approach. The populations in this study were mothers who had infants aged 7-12 months at Dr Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai General Hospital both in SC and normal delivery in September 2018 as many as 72 mothers, sample removal with accidental sampling technique so that the sample in this study were 31 respondents. The data collection was taken from primary, secondary and tertiary data. The data analysis used univariate analysis in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi-square test with a 95% confidence level. The results of data analysis found that mothers who gave birth in SC as many as 26 respondents (83.9%), mothers who did not give exclusive breastfeeding were 27 respondents (87.1%). The results of statistical tests found p = 0.008 where the value of p <α (0.008 <0.005) The conclusion in this study shows that there is a relationship between the labor history and exclusive breastfeeding at Dr Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai General Hospital in 2018. It is suggested that the health workers, especially midwives can always provide counseling about exclusive breastfeeding since the mother during pregnancy, support the mother to be willing to do Early Breastfeeding Initiation as a step the beginning of breastfeeding and help mothers to overcome their problems during breastfeeding

    Constipation is a digestive health problem that many people experience. The provision of early breastfeeding is the same as opening the gate for the entry of diseases, especially contipation. Infants who received breastmilk complimentary before 6 months were more often affected by diarrhea, cough, runny nose, heat, constipation / constipation than babies who received Breastmilk complimentary ≥6 months. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Breastmilk complimentary feeding with constipation on babies aged in 0-6 months infants at BPM Nurlaila Ulee Matang Clinic in Seunuddon District in 2018. This research was analytic design with cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months as many as 30 people. The sample of this study were taken from all population by using total population amounted 30 respondents. The data used primary and secondary data. The analysis was univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the mothers who gave breastmilk complimentary food as many as 19 respondents (63.3%) the majority did not have constipation amounted 15 (50.0%), while mothers who did not give breastmilk complimentary food amounted 9 constipations (30.0 %). The results of the chi-square test showed that p = .002 < .005 which means that Ha is accepted by H0 was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between giving breastmilk complimantry food with constipation in 0-6 months infants at BPM Nurlaila Ulee Matang Clinic in Seunuddon District in 2018. It is expected to be a reference for health workers at BPM Nurlaila Ulee Matang Clinic in Seunuddon District, to further increase promotion health about the importance of brestmilk Exclusive and breastfeeding

    Indonesia Ministry of Health (MoH) reported that exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still very low. It is reported that the first 1 hour breast feeding covers only 34.5 percent. The data also showed that by the end of the fifth month, exclusive breastfeeding coverage was only 15.3 percent. This means that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding has failed since the birth of a baby. This study aimed to explore the cause of exclusive breastfeeding cessation by mothers who have babies in the area of Perlayan Health Centre, in Labuhanbatu District. This research used descriptive design approach by using qualitative study with in-depth interview technique. The research was conducted in the area of Perlayuan Health Center. Key informants in this study were mothers with infants aged 6 months to 1 year. Other informants were husbands and other family members. In three urban villages, informants were 10 mothers and 2 other family members and 2 health workers. Data were analyzed by using thematic analysis using after applying manual coding of transcripts of interview results. Research suggests that exclusive breastfeeding cessation was caused by inadequate knowledge of breast feeding. Another factor was mother's work. The other factors were health workers and other family members who adviced the provision of foods other than breast milk. It is recommended that District Health Office and Health Centre provide better education and health promotion for mothers to improve breastfeeding practise. Based on the initial survey through interviews of 10 male JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students there were 7 students smoke, 1 grade 7, grade 8 2 person and 4 person Class 9. T ujuan research to find out and analyze the factors that influence the smoking habits of students JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. This type of research is a survey of the analytic approach of cross sectional. Population studies as much as 181 male students, a sample of 125 students obtained by the technique of simple random sampling. Data collection using primary data, secondary, tertiary. Data analysis using the univariate, multivariate, bivariat. Test result statistics with the chi square test is obtained that knowledge, attitude, availability of cigarettes, the role of parents, friends, teachers and ad have a p value of 0, 0 00 < 0.05 so that they have a significant relationship with the habit of smoking, the results of the regression tests logisti k retrieved variab el that influence smoking habit that is the variable with the value of knowledge p sig 0.00 4 , the attitude of the the value of p sig 0.025, availability of smoking value sig p 0.002 , the role of parents value p sig 0.023 and friends the value of sig p 0.009.     The contraceptive implant is a birth control in insert under the skin of the upper arm-shaped capsule silastik / supple, slightly shorter than the length at the julienne and in the form of each trunk contains the hormone levonorgestrel to prevent the occurrence of pregnancy that can be done by health workers. The purpose of this research is to look for factors that affect women of fertile age did not choose the contraceptive implants in Bonan Dolok of Siabu District. The study used analytical with cross sectional. The number of population of 148 people with accidental slovin formula obtained the samples amounted 62 people fertile age women, data analysis univariate analysis, i.e. bivariat use the chi square test and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. The results of this research showed the relationship variables aged (0.479), education (0.010), knowledge (0.001), attitude (0.000), information resources (0.001), support the husband (0.002), income (0.000), cost (0.040) and conditions (p< 0.05). And multivariate results the most dominant influence contraceptive implants is not choosen is an attitude (0.996). It was concluded that, education, knowledge, attitudes, information sources, support the husband, income, and expenses affect women of fertile age did not choose the contraceptive implants in Bonan Dolok of Siabu District in 2018 and concluded that age is not affect fertile age women did not choose the contraceptive implants in Bonan Dolok of Siabu District. 2018.     Hospital patient safety is a system in which a hospital makes patient care safer which includes risk assessment, identification and management of patient-related risks, reporting and incident analysis. Patient safety incidents, hereinafter referred to as incidents, are any accidental events and conditions that lead to or potentially result in preventable injuries to patients, consisting of Unexpected Events (KTD), data from hospital patient safety teams (KPRS) RSU Bunda Thamrin, figures the average timeliness of 2017 patient safety incident reporting is 88% meaning that this is still not in accordance with the health minister's regulation No. 1691 in 2011. This study aims to analyze the causes of inaccurate patient safety incident reporting at BundaThamrin General Hospital in 2018. The design of this study is qualitative research using the phenomenology study approach. The informants in this study were, Director, nurse, head of KPRS and champion of KPRS team. The researcher triangulates by comparing and checking the degree of trust of information obtained through different time and tools in qualitative methods. The results showed that the timeliness of reporting patient safety incidents at Bunda Thamrin General Hospital was caused by feeling lazy and fearful so that they were reluctant to write down the chronology of the incident because the patient's safety culture was not comprehensive in the hospital environment, lack of knowledge of the definition of incident, and time constraints. The conclusion of this study states that inaccurate reporting of patient safety incidents (IKP) is the failure of dissemination and education of patient safety by hospital patient safety teams to all of hospital employees. The researcher’s advice to hospital patient safety teams (KPRS) RSU Bunda Thamrin is improving the frequency of dissemination and education to once in six months to all of hospital employees and control the results of thedissemination and education

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between motivation and support of the partners with the contribution of the post-mortem to the postpartum AT Pratama Mariana Clinic Medan in 2018. The research design used Analytical survey with Cross-sectional. Population in this study were 32 respondents, the sample collection techniques used Total Population sampled. The collection of data of this study were primary data. The test used is the Chi-square test. Based on the results of the Chi-square statistical test using the SPSS application, p = .006 was obtained at 95% confidence level with α = .05, thus, p = value .006 ≤ .05 which showed that there was a significant relationship between Midwife Motivation and giving colostrum.. Conclusion in this study is the relationship between Motivation and the provision of colostrum and its support and support with colostrum giving, on the side of the health force to continue to support and increase the supply of colostrum to the breast can be added to the knowledge and knowledge of the penis

    PEMAKAIAN OBAT GENERIK ANTIHIPERTENSI YANG BANYAK DIRESEPKAN DI APOTEK SAMUDRA KOTA MEDAN

    Treatment of hypertension is to reduce the total risk of morbidity in cardiovascular disease and mortality. Controlled blood pressure shows a “safe” level of blood pressure in general, and also shows a “safe” level of clinical conditions associated with comorbidity. The first treatment of hypertension is to change lifestyle. If unsuccessfull, new drugs are used to reduce blood pressure. The aim of the study was to find out the number of antihypertensive drugs prescribed at Samudra Pharmacy Medan in 2018. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method that aimed to provide an overview of the research setting and as a material for discussion of research results. Qualitatife research emphasizes the data obtained by researchers. The results showed that in the period May – July 2018 the use of generic hypertension drugs such as Amlodipine 10 mg 220 tablets and percentage result 33,232%, Amlodipine 5 mg as much as 210 tablets or 31,722%, Bisoprolol 5 mg as much as 40 tablets or 6,042%, Captopril 25 mg as much as 60 tablets or 9,063%, Irbesartan 300 mg as much as 40 tablets or 6,042%, Losartan 50 mg as much as 63 tablets or 9,516%, Propanolol 10 mg as much as 6 tablets or 0,906% and Ramipril 2,5 mg as many as 23 tablets or 3,474%. From these result, it can be seen that the most useful in the period May – July 2018 is Amlodipine 10 mg and the least used is propanolol 10 mg. The conclusion of this study was that the most widely prescribed antihypertensive generic drug at Samudra Pharmacy Medan was Amlodipine 10 mg and the least precribed was Propanolol 10 mg in the May – July 2018 period
