    FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI KELELAHAN KERJA PADA PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM SUNDARI KOTA MEDAN TAHUN 2022

    Kelelahan dalam bekerja dapat menurunkan kinerja dan menambah tingkat kesalahan kerja. International Labor Organization (ILO) mencatat tahun 2020, 1 pekerja di dunia meninggal setiap 1 detik karena kecelakaan kerja dan 160 pekerja mengalami sakit dan kelelahan akibat kerja. Kelelahan umumnya ditandai dengan berkurangnya kemauan untuk bekerja yang sebabnya adalah persyaratan psikis. Berdasarkan survei awal kepada 10 orang perawat di RSU Sundari menunjukkan bahwa 6 orang perawat mengalami kelelahan kerja seperti rasa nyeri pada otot, pusing, mudah mengantuk dan juga tidak bersemangat dalam bekerja, sedangkan 4 perawat lainnya tidak mengalami kelelahan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi kelelahan kerja pada perawat di RSU Sundari Kota Medan tahun 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei analitik dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat sebanyak 50 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 50 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat, bivariat dan multivariat dengan statistik uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p untuk variabel jenis kelamin (p=0,041), masa kerja (p=0,021) dan beban kerja (p=0,004). Variabel jenis kelamin, masa kerja dan beban kerja memiliki persentase besar pengaruh sebesar 58,6%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh jenis kelamin, masa kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kelelahan kerja pada perawat, dengan persentase besar pengaruh terhadap kelelahan kerja sebesar 58,6%. Pihak rumah sakit harus memberikan pelatihan kepada seluruh perawat, memperhatikan jumlah perawat, memberikan jenis pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan kemampuan perawat dan memperhatikan proporsi beban kerja bagi perawat yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap kelelahan kerja pada perawat

    Natrium Benzoat sebagai pengawet yang dipersyaratkan pada bahan makanan sudah seharusnya di sesuaikan dengan ketentuan yang berlaku saat ini. Salah satu tambahan pada makanan yang diminati saat ini adalah saus sambal yang bahan bakunya diperoleh dari bahan utama cabai yang matang dan baik. Pengawet berperan menjaga kualitas saus yang tetap baik dalam waktu lama, seperti natrium benzoat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan dan kadar benzoat dalam saus sambal kemasan yang beredar di pasar kota Medan. Identifikasi telah dilakukan reaksi warna (kualitatif), dan penentuan kadar senyawa benzoat dengan metode Spektrofotometri Uv-Vis. Pada sembilan sampel yang diteliti diperoleh mengandung pengawet natrium benzoat melalui uji kualitatifnya. Dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis, panjang gelombang 271 nm diperoleh rentang kadar beberapa sampel dari 48,9845 mg/kg sampai 97,3628 mg/kg. Dan penggunaan Natrium benzoat tidak melebihi kandungan Natrium benzoat yang dipersyaratkan pada 1000 mg/kg sesusai Peraturan Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 2019

    Kecelakaan kerja sektor konstruksi masih menjadi masalah keselamatan kerja baik di dunia maupun di Indonesia yang memerlukan perhatian dari berbagai pihak. Safety behaviour akan membuat karyawan terhindar dari resiko kecelakaan dan menciptakan rasa aman dalam bekerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan. Beberapa penelitian yang dilakukan para peneliti menemukan bahwa safety behaviour dipengaruhi oleh leadership dan iklim perusahaan. Pendekatan safety leadership, dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mempromosikan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja lebih komprehensif lagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Safety Leadership dan Safety Climate Melalui Safety Behavior Terhadap Kecelakaan Kerja Pada Karyawan PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Batam. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan menggunakan analisis jalur path. Dengan sampel 52 reponden yang ada di PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Batam. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara safety behaviour terhadap variabel kecelakaan kerja dengan nilai jalur path sebesar 0,889, Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara safety leadership terhadap variabel Safety behaviour dengan nilai jalur path sebesar 0,550. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara safety leadership terhadap variabel kecelakaan kerja dengan nilai jalur path sebesar 0,530. Secara tidak langsung safety leadership melalui safety behaviour tidak berpengaruh terhadap kecelakaan kerja dikarenakan hasil uji lebih kecil dibandingkan nilai secara langsung. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara safety climate terhadap variabel Safety behaviour dengan nilai jalur path sebesar 0,447 Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara safety climate terhadap variabel kecelakaan kerja dengan nilai jalur path sebesar 0,478. Secara tidak langsung safety climate melalui safety behaviour tidak berpengaruh terhadap kecelakaan kerja dikarenakan hasil uji lebih kecil dibandingkan nilai secara langsung. Disarankan untuk melaksanakan program-program yang lebih intens dibidang K3 dengan melakukan pelatihan-pelatihan dan pengembangan keilmuan

    The WISN method is a resource management tool that calculates staffing requirements based on the workload for a specific staff category and clearly defined facilities and types of health facilities. This tool can be applied nationally, regionally, to health facilities, which is easy to use both technically, comprehensively, realistically and provides convenience in determining variations in human resource needs in various types of health services such as health centers and hospitals. The purpose of this study is to analyze the need for workload-based nursing staff with the Workload Indicator Staff Need (WISN) method in the Emergency Installation (IGD) Datu Beru Hospital, Central Aceh in 2021. The research design used was descriptive research using observational techniques. The population in this study were all nurses in the Emergency Installation of RSUD Beru Takngon, amounting to 35 nurses, 35 people, the sampling of this population was done by total sampling. 35 people. Data analysis was carried out by using WISN analysis. After the data was obtained from filling out questionnaires by researchers based on observations, then recording and adjustments were made to the work documentation carried out by nurses in the Emergency Room. The results of the study based on the calculation of the WISN method, it is known that the need for nursing personnel in the Emergency Room at Datu Beru Takengon Hospital is still lacking in 3 nursing personnel. The conclusion is that there is an influence between working time, nursing staff activities, workload standards, slack factor and calculation of nursing staff needs for nursing staff on the needs of nursing staff in the Emergency Installation of RSUD Datu Beru Takengon, it is recommended to the Head of the Emergency Room that it is necessary to evaluate the distribution tasks so that the nursing service process can be carried out properly and improve the quality of service in the Emergency Installation at Datu Beru Takengon Hospita

    ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY TEST OF SOLID SOAP WITH TORCH GINGER’S (Etlingera elatior (Jack) R.M.sm.) FLOWER EXTRACT

    Ethanol extract of torch ginger’s flower (Etlingera elatior) is rich in active compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins, steroids. Flavonoids are bioactive compounds that serve as antioxidants and antibacterials. This study aims to find the antibacterial activity of solid soap with torch ginger’s flower extract against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa. This study includes the preparation of simplicia, extracts, moisture content, total ash levels, insoluble acid ash levels, water soluble extract levels. The first evaluation includes organoleptic test, pH, irritation, and stability. The formulation of the tested soap preparations was 5%, 7.5%, 10%. The data analysis was performed with ANOVA. The results of this study revealed that its ethanolic extract had a moderate category of bacterial resistance against S. aureus where in FI (5%) has a clear zone with 7 mm in diameter, FII (7.5%) 8.3 mm and FIII (10%) 10.4 mm. Furthermore, for P. aeruginosa, it has a moderate clear zone with diameter in FI (5%) is 8.86 mm, FII (7.5%) is 9.73 mm, and FIII is 10.6 mm. Torch ginger’s flower ethanolic extract had an antibacterial activity against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa with the widest clear zone is in the FIII (10%, v/v) in the number of 10.4 mm against S. aureus and 10.6 mm against P. aeruginosa with moderate resistance categor

    The performance of nurses is an important issue in hospital organizations in an effort to improve the efficiency of health services. The Performance Report of the Datu Beru Hospital in Takengon City is based on the Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) figure, which was 65% in 2017 and decreased to 63% in 2018. The decline was inseparable from the performance of nurses in the inpatient room, allegedly due to the leadership role. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the influence of the leadership role of the head of the room on the performance of nurses at the Datu Beru Regional General Hospital, Takengon City in 2022. This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional type. The total population is 100 nurses and the sample is 80 nurses. The research was conducted from February to March 2022 through the distribution of questionnaires. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate and multivariate using multiple logistic regression test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the initiative had a significant effect on nurse performance (p=0.035), decision making (p=0.015), communication (p=0.032), motivation (p=0.008), and human resource development (p=0.031). The motivation of the head of a good room tends to be 8,376 times that the nurses perform well in providing health services than the motivation of the head of the room that is not good. The conclusion that the leadership role of the head of the room consists of initiative, decision making, communication, motivation and human resource development affect the performance of nurses. The dominant motivation variable affects the performance of nurses. It is suggested that the head of the ward can improve the performance of nurses by evaluating pocket books, daily beginning and end briefings, and providing regular guidance and direction

    Hospitalisasi adalah suatu proses yang mengharuskan anak untuk tinggal di rumah sakit untuk menjalani terapi dan perawatan, baik untuk alasan berencana dirawat di rumah sakit. Hospitalisasi akan menciptakan serangkaian kejadian traumatis dan kecemasan dalam ketidakpastian orang tua. Kecemasan adalah perasaan khawatir atau tidak nyaman yang seakan-akan terjadi sesuatu yang dirasakan sebagai ancaman, dan merupakan pengalaman sehari-hari yang dialami individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kecemasan orang tua pada hospitalisasi anak usia prasekolah di RSUD Aceh Singkil. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dekriptif analitik. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian 135 dan sampel sebanyak 57 orang. Analisa data dengan analisa univariat, analisa bivariat menggunakan chi square dan analisa multivariat menggunakan uji regresi beganda binary. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia memiliki nilai sig-p 0,0010,05, pengetahuan sig-p 0,0400,05, pengalaman sig-p 0,556>0,05, peran keluarga sig-p 0,001< 0,05, perilaku caring perawat sig-p 0,000< 0,05, yang artinya selain variabel pengalaman, pendidikan, dan finansial/materi semua variabel memiliki hubungan terhadap kecemasan.Variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kecemasan oang tua adalah perilaku caring perawat p value sebesar 0,000< 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini ada hubungan usia, pengetahuan, peran keluarga dan perilaku caring perawat, sedangkan pengalaman, pendidikan, dan finansial/materi tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap kecemasan. Diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi rumah sakit sebagai bahan pertimbangan perawat dalam melakukan ntervensi keperawatan dan sebagai perawat di ruang anak mampu meningkatkan hubungan yang baik terhadap keluarga dan perawat harus memberikan segala informasi tentang kondisi penyakit anak dari mulai masuk ke RS sampai pulang kembali kerumah

    Audio visual aids in the form of videos are one of the extension media that has many advantages and is easier for students to accept. Based on data from the Darul Imarah Health Center, the students who experienced caries at SDN (Public Elementary School) Kandang Cut were of the 23 students who were netted 20 children who had caries, the other 3 students were free of dental caries. generally, health workers only provide counseling delivered using the lecture as a method using phantom media and posters, but officers do not use video media. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in knowledge before and after the use of video media about dental caries in fifth and sixth grade students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was analytic in nature with a quasiexperimental pre and post test only design. The research population of all students in grades V and VI amounted to 38 people and the sample used was saturated sampling. The study was carried out on February 23, 2021 and data analysis was performed using the Paired t-test with a degree of confidence. The results of the study showed that student knowledge before using video media about dental caries was quite poor (79%). While after using video media as a tool to explain about dental caries showed sufficient improvement in as many as 15 students (39%). It shows that the knowledge variable has a difference in values before and after counseling the use of video media about dental caries during the COVID-19 pandemic of 24.47. It can be concluded that there is a difference in knowledge before and after the use of video media about dental caries (p=0.001). It is hoped that the school will provide education using video media about dental and oral health, especially about dental caries to students during this COVID pandemic

    National Health Insurance (JKN) Mobile Application Use Towards Satisfaction of Participants of the Health Social Security Implementing Agency (BPJS) in Madani Hospital in Medan City

    The National Health Insurance (JKN) mobile is an application launched by the Social Health Insurance Administration (BPJS) to make it easier for the public to get optimal health services online. The presence of this application is expected to increase the satisfaction of BPJS health participants as users. Consumer satisfaction is a representation of service quality (service quality). Online service quality (e-SERVQUAL) serves to measure customer perceptions ofthe quality of online mobile application services. This study aimed to analyze the use of the JKN mobile appfication on the satisfaction of BPJS health participants at the Madani Hospital in Medan City 2021. This study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross- sectional design. Sampling is done by using the proportion estimation formula. The research sample was 92 BPJS Health participants who visited Madani Hospital Medan with the criteria of being at least 18 years old and had downloaded and used the JKN mobile application. The data collected was then analyzed using statistical tests including univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The data analysis process uses the help of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software. The results showed that the use of the JKN mobile application was based on the efficiency factor with a p-value of 0.000 and x2 calculated 30.728, the reliability factor with a p-value of 0.023 and x2 calculated 7.188, the fulfilment factor with a p-value of 0.002 and x2 counts 12,841, the privacy factor with a p-value value 0.004 and x2 count 11.897 affect the satisfaction of BPJS health participants. The most dominant factor influencing the satisfaction of BPJS health participants in using the JKN mobile application is efficiency. The efficiency variable has a significant effect and has a positive relationship to satisfaction. The efficiency variable increases the possibility as much as 62.801 times. The suggestion of this research for BPJS Kesehatan should continue to innovate to develop service features to suit the era of national digital transformation. Be more active and more creative in promoting and socializing the JKN mobile application and must be able to give confidence to the public that the JKN mobile application is well protected. The Medan City Madani Hospital should be more aggressive in socializing the use of the JKN mobile application to patients who use the JKN-KIS card, especially the online queue feature. The utilization of administrative services, especially during the Covid- 19 pandemic, can avoid crowds in the waiting room. BPJS health participants should download and install the JKN mobile application on mobile devices to get easy access to health services and provide services on line and offline so that access to health services can be done as much as possible
