    PMA Nigeria (Kano, Lagos) Covid-19 Female Follow-up Survey (2020)

    PMA Nigeria (Kano) COVID-19 Female Follow-up (FQFU) phone survey (June 2020) was conducted among females age 15-49 at the time of the COVID-19 Survey who were interviewed at the baseline survey between December 2019 and January 2020, consented to follow-up, and own or had access to a phone (33.6% of the baseline population). Of the 429 eligible respondents, 8.2% were not reached.     PMA Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa & Kongo Central) Phase 3 Household and Female Survey collects data in 115 enumeration areas (EAs) using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The results are representative at the national and province levels and within urban/rural strata. The final sample included 2,507 households for Kinshasa, 2,114 for Kongo Central, 3,126 de facto females for Kinshasa, and 2,114 de facto females for Kongo Central who completed the interview for the cross-sectional sample. Data collection was conducted between November 2021 and March 2022.Kinshasa Phase 3 panel data collection was conducted among 2,090 females aged 15-49 at the time of the Phase 3 survey who were interviewed at Phase 1 or Phase 2 and consented to follow-up. Among the Phase 3 panel women, 72% of them were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between November and December 2020, and 28% were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 2 between November and January 2021. Of the 2090 eligible respondents, 18.5% were not reached for follow-up at Phase 3. Of those reached, 2,366 (79.1%) completed the Phase 3 survey, for a response rate of 97% among contacted women.Kongo central Phase 3 panel data collection was conducted among 2,086 females aged 15-49 at the time of the Phase 3 survey who were interviewed at Phase 1 or Phase 2 and consented to follow-up. Among the Phase 3 panel women, 74.1% of them were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between November and December 2020, and 25.9% were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 2 between November and January 2021. Of the 2086 eligible respondents, 26% were not reached for follow-up at Phase 3. Of those reached, 1,529 (73.3%) completed the Phase 3 survey, for a response rate of 98.3% among contacted women.     Burkina Faso Round 6 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural strata. A sample of 83 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn from the l’Institut National de la Statistique et de la Démographie (INSD) master sampling frame. In each EA, 35 households were selected. Households were systematically selected using the "Random Number Generator" application. Occupants in selected households were enumerated, and eligible women (women of reproductive age, 15-49) were contacted and consented for interviews. Data collection was conducted between December 2018 and January 2019. The final sample included a total of 2,763 households and 3,388 females.     PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 3 Household and Female survey collects information on knowledge, practices and coverage of family planning services in 122 enumeration areas using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The results are representative at the national level and within urban/rural strata. Data were collected between September and December 2022 from 3,774 households (96.0% response rate), 3,873 women aged 15 to 49 (95.3% response rate) and 216 health service sites. The PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 2 panel survey was conducted in 31 counties among 4,747 women from Phase 1 and/or Phase 2 who consented to follow-up and aged 15-49 at Phase 3 survey (September to December 2022). 76.6% of women were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between September and November 2020, and 23.4% of women were enrolled at Phase 2 between September and December 2021. Of the 4,747 eligible respondents, 25.8% were not reached for follow-up. Of those reached, 3,420 (72.0% of the eligible female respondents) completed the Phase 3 survey, for a response rate of 97.1% among contacted women.     Côte d’Ivoire Round 1 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey data provide representative estimates at the national and urban and rural level. A total of 73 enumerations areas (EAs) were selected by Côte d’Ivoire’s National Statistics Institute, using probability proportional to size, from a sampling frame provided by the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing in 2014. Structures, households, and service delivery points (SDPs) were enumerated in each selected EA. Thirty-five households were selected randomly from each EA. All eligible women, aged 15 to 49, in the sampled households were contacted and consented for interviews. Data collection occurred from September-October 2017. The final sample included 2,402 complete household interviews and 2,785 complete female interviews.     Kenya Round 7 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural and selected 11 counties as strata. A sample of 151 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics from its master sampling frame. The sample included the two new counties, Kakamega and West Pokot, which were added in 2016, round 5. The same set of enumeration areas used from round 5 were selected, adjacent to the areas enumerated in the first four survey rounds. In each EA, households and private health facilities were listed and mapped, with 42 households randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15 to 49 were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample included 6,097 households and 5,720 females. For each EA, all public SDPs that served the EA and up to 3 private facilities were selected. The final sample included 710 SDPs (96.6%) which completed the interview.
