    PMA Kenya Phase 1 Service Delivery Point Survey (2019)

    PMA Kenya Phase 1 (KEP1) Service Delivery Point Survey includes 308 enumeration areas (EAs) of selected counties. The national sample is composed of the existing 115 PMA2020 EAs which were refreshed and supplemented with the new EAs. The new EAs were drawn using the same stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata by the Kenya Bureau of Statistics following the pre-existing sampling frame used for PMA2020. The results are national and county-level representative. The final sample included 945 SDPs (94.6%) which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between November and December 2019.     PMA Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa, Kongo Central) Phase 1 Service Delivery Point Baseline Survey (2020)

    PMA Democratic Republic of Congo Phase 1 Service Delivery Point Survey includes 58 enumeration areas (EAs) in Kinshasa and 52 EAs in Kongo Central. The EAs were drawn using the stratified cluster design from the master sampling frame using probabilities proportional to size. The results are representative at province level. The final sample included 203 SDPs (99.0%) in Kinshasa and 153 SDPs (97.5%) in Kongo Central, which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between December 2019 and January 2020. The EAs were drawn using the same stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata from the National Population Commission’s master sampling frame. The results are representative at the state level. The final sample included 64 facilities in Kano and 126 facilities in Lagos which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between December 2021 and February 2022.     Ghana Round 5 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural, major ecological zones as the strata. A sample of 100 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Ghana Statistical Service from its master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between August and November, 2016. The final completed sample in Ghana Round 5 was 156 SDPs. A sample of 100 enumeration areas (EA) was drawn by the Ghana Statistical Service from its master sampling frame. In each EA, households and private health facilities were listed and mapped, with 42 households randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15 to 49 were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample included 4,139 households and 4,297 females.
