The attached dataset has ocean bottom seismic (OBS) data, 3D seismic data and matlab scripts used in the analysis of OBS data.
OBS data was acquired using an array of 22 ocean bottom seismometers (OBS) during a research expedition (CAGE-2019-1) around Lunde pockmark, Vestnesa Ridge, W-Svalbard Margin. This data acquisition aims to improve our understanding of actively hydrocarbon gas seeping system in Vestnesa Ridge, west-Svalbard Margin.
3D seismic data was acquired in 2013 around Lunde pockmark, Vestnesa Ridge, W-Svalbard Margin using high-resolution 3D P-Cable seismic data acquisition system. Details of 3D seismic data processing and interpretation are already published in the research article "Role of tectonic stress in seepage evolution along the gas hydrate‐charged Vestnesa Ridge, Fram Strait" (Doi:10.1002/2014GL062474)

Replication Data for: Elevated methane alters dissolved organic matter composition in the Arctic Ocean cold seeps
This dataset contains water column measurements, dissolved organic matter compositions, and hydrographical profiles collected from the Norskebanken seep site at Northern Svalbard, Arctic Ocean. Data are presented along with the R codes for the replication of analyses, and figures that were added in our submitted paper.
We recommend using R (v4.3.1) and R Studio (2023.06.1) to run R project file (.Rproj) which can access all codes and data. Running codes in the given order will create corresponding data tables and all the figures that were used in the article.Cold seeps release methane (CH4) from the seafloor to the water column, which fuels microbially mediated aerobic methane oxidation (MOx). Methane oxidising bacteria (MOB) utilise excess methane, and the MOB biomass serves as a carbon source in the food web. Yet, it remains unclear if and how MOx modifies the composition of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in cold seeps. We investigated MOx rates, DOM compositions and the microbial community during ex-situ incubations of seawater collected from an active cold seep site at Norskebanken (north of the Svalbard archipelago) in the Arctic Ocean. For comparison, we used seawater collected from a control site (a non-seep environment). Samples were incubated with and without methane amendments. Samples amended with methane (~1 µM final concentration) showed elevated rates of MOx in both seep and non-seep incubations. Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) analyses showed that the number of DOM formulas (i.e., molecular diversity) increased by up to 39 % in these incubations. In contrast, the number of formulas decreased by 20 % in samples not amended with methane, both from non-seep and seep locations. DOM composition was thus altered towards a more diverse and heterogeneous composition along with elevated methanotrophic activity in methane-amended conditions. In addition to microbial DOM production, abating microbial diversity indicates that elevated DOM diversity was potentially related to grazing pressure on bacteria. The diversity of DOM constituents, therefore, likely increased with the variety of decaying cells contributing to DOM production. Furthermore, based on a principal coordinate analysis, we show that the final DOM composition of non-seep samples amended with methane became more resemblant to that of seep samples. This suggests that methane intrusions will affect water column DOM dynamics similarly, irrespective of the water column’s methane history. </p
Replication Data for: Radical Group Transfer of Vinyl and Alkynyl Silanes Driven by Photoredox Catalysis
Radical group transfer is a powerful tool for the formation of C–C bonds. These processes typically involve radical addition to C–C π bonds, followed by fragmentation of the cyclic intermediate. Despite the advantageous lability of organosilanes in this context, silicon-tethered radical acceptor groups have remained underexplored in radical group transfer reactions. We report a general photoredox-catalyzed protocol for the radical group transfer of vinyl and alkynyl silanes onto sp3 carbons, using activated and unactivated iodides as radical precursors. Our method displays high diastereoselectivity and excellent functional group tolerance. Mechanistic investigations revealed the key role played by silicon in facilitating a single-electron oxidation step, which leads to direct ring-opening and an overall redox-neutral process.

GNSS Scintillation Data (60 s) at Hopen in 2022
This data set contains phase and amplitude scintillation data at 60 seconds time resolution at Hopen, Svalbard.
The measurements were collected by the University of Bergen using a NovAtel GPStation-6 global navigation satellite system receiver. The measurements include signals from GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO at different frequencies. These data are used for research on space weather disturbances in the polar ionosphere.

Replication Data for: High resolution daily profiles of tissue adrenal steroids by portable automated collection

4. Non-validated questionnaire responses Rhythms are intrinsic to endocrine systems, and disruption of these hormone oscillations occurs at very early stages of disease. Since adrenal hormones are secreted with both circadian and ultradian periods, conventional single time point measures provide limited information about rhythmicity, and crucially do not provide information during sleep when many hormones fluctuate from nadir to peak concentrations. If blood sampling is attempted overnight, this necessitates admission to a clinical research unit, can be stressful and disturbs sleep. To overcome this problem, and to measure free hormones within their target tissues, we used microdialysis, an ambulatory fraction collector and liquid-chromatography tandem mass-spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to obtain high-resolution profiles of tissue adrenal steroids over 24 hours in 214 healthy volunteers. For validation, we compared tissue against plasma measurements in a further seven healthy volunteers. Sample collection from subcutaneous tissue was safe, well tolerated and allowed most normal activities to continue. In addition to cortisol, we identified daily and ultradian variation in free cortisone, corticosterone (CCS), 18-hydroxycortisol (18-OHF), aldosterone, tetrahydrocortisol (THF), allotetrahydrocortisol (aTHF), and the presence of dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate (DHEA-S). We used mathematical and computational methods to quantify the interindividual variability of hormones at different times of the day and develop “dynamic biomarkers” of normality in healthy individuals stratified by sex, age and body mass index (BMI). Our results provide, for the first time, an insight into the dynamics of adrenal steroids in tissue in real world settings and will serve as a normative reference for novel and improved biomarkers of endocrine disorders. Deform-registered rectal contours for prostate cancer patients - 373 contours from 37 patients
Contours of the recti of 37 prostate cancer patients from Haukeland University Hospital years 2007-2009. The patients were part of a study on hypofractionated radiotherapy with integrated boost, as desribed in Ekanger et al. (2018). The data is now fully anonymous, as the identification keys have been deleted.
Each patient had a planning CT plus 6-10 CT repeat CT scans taken during the course of radiotherapy. The rectum was delineated on every scan by an expert physicist. The contours are represented as polyhedra, where each shape contour consist of a set of of 18063 points, with x, y and z-coordinates, on the organ surface. The points are tied together by 36168 triangular faces. The definition of of the triangular faces are given by an array of indices into the arrays of contour points.
All contours have been deformably registered to a reference shape; therefore, there is point-to-point correspondence between all shapes in the dataset. This makes the data ideal for statistical modelling.
This data was used in the models of Rørtveit et al. (2021) and Rørtveit et al. (2023). A description of the patients, treatment and imaging is given in Hysing et al. (2018).
Two representations of the data are available in this dataset; firstly a Matlab .mat file which contains all the data. For users who do not use Matlab, the data is also made available as text files in the form of comma separated values

Replication data for Verb placement in L3 French and L3 German: The role of language-internal factors in determining cross-linguistic influence form prior languages
Dataset Abstract
This dataset contains data from an experimental study on third language acquisition of verb placement. All participants are first language (L1) speakers of Norwegian, with English as theirs second language (L2) who acquire either French or German as a third language (L3). There are two participant groups: 1) L1 Norwegian-L2 English-L3 French (n=125), 2) L1 Norwegian-L2 English-L3 German (n=154). Data are collected using a written acceptability judgment task (AJT) with a 1-4 point Likert scale. The AJT tested placement of finite lexical verb as the second (Verb-2) and third (Verb-3) constituent, respectively. The tasks consisted of 48 sentences: 24 test and 24 filler items. Items were semi-randomized, with four items per page. Test items were 12 non-subject initial main clauses with a topicalized element (Non-SU-I) and 12 subject-initial main clauses with a short adverb (SU-I). For each sentence type, word order was manipulated with the finite verb in either the second (verb-2) or third (verb-3) position, resulting in 6 items in each condition. Fillers were 6 grammatical and 6 ungrammatical wh-questions, as well as 6 grammatical and 6 ungrammatical simple declaratives, the latter with missing arguments. The participants was tested for the same structures in L3 (French/German) and L2 English.
The data set contains information about participant's proficiency in L2 English and L3 French or German, raw data for judgments on AJT, discrimination score, test sentences (including filler sentences), and the replication R code is additionally shared together with the output as an html-file.

Abstract: This article explores cross-linguistic influence and the relationship between surface structure and underlying syntactic structure in L3 acquisition of verb placement in L1 Norwegian L2 English learners of L3 German or French, respectively. In these languages, verb placement varies systematically. Previous research has found transfer from both L1 and L2 in similar language combinations. Using an acceptability judgment task, we tested verb placement in non-subject-initial and subject-initial sentences. Findings indicate that L3 French learners performed better on non-subject-initial sentences compared to subject-initial sentences, whereas the opposite was the case in L3 German.
We argue that our findings can be explained by a generative account of verb movement and are compatible with an analysis where verbs do not move, or do not move far enough, in the L3 learners’ underlying syntactic representation. Following the assumption that verb movement is a costly operation, we argue that the syntactic operation verb movement is constrained by principles of economy in L3 acquisition, and that economy plays a role in determining cross-linguistic influence in multilingual acquisition. Our account is compatible with a uniform analysis of the acquisition of verb movement in L1, L2 and L3, and underlines the qualitative similarities in different acquisition processes.
