Merl R. Eppse replaces C. H. Dickerson as Editor.
The number of pages increases from twelve to sixteen in two of the three remaining issues of the year.
The paper is smaller in size and of higher quality.

Genealogical Tables and History of the Christian-Evangelist
Two different genealogical tables of the periodicals in the history of the Christian-Evangelist appeared in the regular issues of the Christian-Evangelist.
The first version appeared in the January 21, 1904, issue as part of the celebration of the fortieth year of the periodical\u27s founding.
In the January 6, 1938, issue of the Christian-Evangelist. J. Edward Moseley wrote an article entitled The Story of The Christian-Evangelist. The article included the second version of the Genealogical Chart showing the various periodicals connected with the Christian-Evangelist\u27s history. There are more than 25 periodicals in the chart.
